Beautiful Home Above Maxwell Point with Huge Balcony and Stunning Ocean Views

Summary:

Cliffside Serenity

The Space:

Sweeping views of the Pacific, a giant deck, and room for up to nine guests make this lovely Oceanside home the perfect pick for your next Oregon Coast getaway. Perched on the cliffs above Maxwell Point, this handsome vacation rental is lined with skylights and ocean-facing windows so you can enjoy the scenery no matter what the weather.

Located about 10 miles west of Tillamook, the secluded village of Oceanside boasts all the beauty of Oregon's most popular coastal towns - with none of the crowds. Enjoy a peaceful walk on the long, sandy beach, hunt for treasures in the tidal pools below Maxwell Point, or grab a bite to eat at Roseanna's Cafe, a local institution. For a change of pace, sample some freshly churned ice cream at the Tillamook Cheese Factory (11 miles), or hike up to a stunning view at the Cape Meares Lighthouse (three miles).

With four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and an airy living area bathed in natural light, this private home is the perfect place to spend a getaway with your closest friends and family. On those rainy winter nights, build a cozy fire in the wood-burning fireplace, then gather 'round for a game night or movie marathon. Cable and free WiFi are both provided, and there's even decent Verizon and AT&T cell service at the house - a rarity in Oceanside! Plus, each bedroom features a gorgeous view of the trees and water (plus peeks of the Cape Meares Lighthouse from the kids' bedroom), so you can wake up every morning to the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

From summer to winter, autumn to fall, this elegant Oceanside home has it all. Book your reservation today!

* Please note that cell phone service tends to be spotty in Oceanside, though it will be better just a couple miles away in Netarts.

When we got there the doors were unlocked. There was not a lot of towels, blankets, and pillows. The house was nice and pictures matched listing. View was beautiful.

Beautiful location, spectacular views and quiet neighborhood. . Helpful to know that the 3rd twin is a trundle bed under the bottom bunk ( it not obvious from the photos), Also recommend taking a screenshot of the access code as WiFi was weak in Oceanside for easy entry to the garage. Great parking. There is general wear and tear but it was clean and comfortable.

Thanks for the thoughtful review. We're glad Cliffside Serenity's setting and parking made your visit comfortable. We appreciate the note about the trundle bed and will update the photos and listing so its configuration is clear. We'll also add clearer arrival instructions recommending guests save the access code for offline use and will explore ways to improve connectivity. We'll address general wear through our maintenance plan so the home stays comfortable for future stays. We'd love to host you again.

We had an excellent experience! The only thing was that I was told two of the four rooms were downstairs when in fact, all but the primary bedroom are upstairs. It has a great layout though and wonderful deck for fun outside.

Thank you, Kate, for taking the time to share your experience. We're so glad Cliffside Serenity’s layout and wonderful deck made your stay excellent and fun outdoors. We appreciate you pointing out the bedroom placement — the primary is on the main level and the other three are upstairs — and we'll make the listing clearer so future guests know what to expect. We hope to welcome you back soon.

Beautiful view! Sits on the hill over Seaside, just a short drive down to the beach and a couple restaurants in town. We met a couple of friends and had fun cooking and playing games at the house. Went into Tillamook, shopped at vintage shops and did the cheese tour, which I highly recommend. It’s near Meares Lighthouse state park, we visited that one afternoon. Perfect location for hanging out, fishing and enjoying the area. House had everything we needed.

Thank you for sharing your experience — we’re so glad Cliffside Serenity’s hilltop view and easy beach access made for a great stay. It sounds like a perfect mix of cozy nights cooking and playing games, plus fun outings to Tillamook’s cheese tour, vintage shops, and Meares Lighthouse. Knowing the home had everything you needed made our day. We’d love to welcome you back for more fishing and coastal time.

We had everything we needed in the kitchen; dishes, cookware, spices except cooking oil.The short driveway is steep but accommodated three cars.Great views! The deck is huge! It could use some attention a little cleaning and resealing (if I owned it that’s what I’d do)

We had a good time, we were disappointed that in the description that it was a 6 minute walk to the beach not sure what route that was supposed to be as we never seen a path down the side of the mountain. Views were amazing the trees do need to be trimmed. We did have to connect with the host about the security system and they were quick to get the low battery alarm taken care of.

Very spacious home in a quiet neighborhood with great ocean views and ample onsite parking in the garage and driveway. The kitchen has lots of cookware, dishes and utensils to work with, but there was no cooking oil to be found so we had to plan a stop at the store. Overall, the house was in good condition and clean, save for some carpet stains. The host communication was good with clear check-in and check-out instructions. Minor detail, but getting in was the only tricky thing we encountered as the digital lock has a rather long code and errors out if you pause too long trying to enter it while looking back and forth at your phone. I recommend having someone read it out loud while someone else enters it. :-)Overall, this was a great place to stay and I’d happily recommend it to others as well!

The house was lovely and great for our needs. The kitchen was a bit understocked though, not enough knives and no salt to use for recipes. Additionally, the stove range top broke our final morning there.

Thank you so much for your kind words about the home. We are glad it suited your needs well. We appreciate you bringing the kitchen concerns to our attention. Please note that pantry items, such as salt, are not stocked in our homes, so we recommend guests bring any specific ingredients they may need during their stay. Regarding the stove range top issue on your final morning, we want to let you know that our local team has addressed the problem by turning off the power and tightening the wire nuts. The stove is now fully operational. We hope to welcome you back for another wonderful stay in the future.
