Really enjoyed our time in Oceanside. The house was as described and was very comfortable for our family. Very thoughtful to have a high chair and crib available as well as plug covers. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and nice open space for the evenings as a family. The location was great as well, close to Tillamook and everything that we wanted to do. Lots of parking as well. Would highly recommend.

Was plenty of room for the family and a good location close to multiple beaches. Only downside was we couldnt use the loft but kids had fun without it. Might be a new family summer vacation house for us next summer.

Kyle, thank you for taking the time to share your stay at Cape Crescent. We're so glad the home had plenty of room for your family and that the location made beach-hopping easy. It made us smile to hear the kids had fun even without the loft. We’d love to welcome your family back next summer if Cape Crescent becomes your new vacation spot.

We had 5 couples rent this house for a crabbing weekend. The rooms were done well and advertised correctly. We loved the open great room design and the amount of parking, especially because we had a boat. The kitchen seemed well stocked as well. Our only complaints would surround the furniture. While there are 5 bedrooms, all with either king or queen beds, the dining table is for only 6 people....even though there's plenty of space for a bigger table. Also, the living room space is really only set up to seat 6 people. They have space to add more seating in both areas but don't provide it. And while there's a wine fridge, it wasn't working properly. There were also very few wine glasses. The beds were comfortable, which was a plus, but not there's no air conditioning, so if it's a warm day, you could be up to high 70's inside. The first night, my husband and I slept on top of the covers and still woke up a bit hot throughout the night. The small deck off the living room only has two chairs and a small table. Basically, it's a great house that is not furnished to accommodate renters appropriately.

Spacious home, perfect for friends/family gathering

Our group of six adults enjoyed the large great room and kitchen with ample counter and table space for preparing and eating meals. The ocean view and close proximity to Oceanside also were very nice.

Beautiful house

The house was amazing apt for a group of ten to fifteen people. It’s a brand new house. The living room has a wonderful sunset view. The kids loved the place. It’s very close to the beach but not walkable. The kitchen has everything that you need to cook.

This house was an excellent spot for a restorative Oregon beach coast vacation. Entry was a snap and the house was large enough for the four couples to spread out and feel comfortable. Parking, which was a problem at last year's house, was no problem here as there was enough space for four normal size cars to park side by side with a fifth across the back of the driveway if necessary plus the two car garage. The house was clean. The kitchen was well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, flatware, cups, mugs, knives, and appliances. The oven was perfect for our needs. While the pots and pans were of excellent quality-all hefty stainless steel--a nonstick omelette pan would make a nice addition. My guests all had a great time and spoke highly of the area for its quiet and uncrowded nature. There are nearby beaches and trails. Short Beach with its tidal pools is amazing. Safeway in town less than 15 minutes away is the place to stock up. Stop by at the market a few blocks away for scoop ice cream. We needed fans to help us sleep as interior temperatures on the second floor reached close to 80 degrees. It took a couple of days for us to receive them. A better quality and quantity of bath towels would make the stay even better. Otherwise, the place was perfectly suited to our needs and helped make the familiy reunion a success.

Thanks so much for choosing Cape Crescent and for this thoughtful review. We're glad the home’s layout and easy parking let everyone spread out and relax—the house is meant to be a comfortable, restorative gathering place on the coast. We’re happy you explored Short Beach; those tidal pools are a special nearby treat. We’ve added a nonstick omelette pan, upgraded our towel selection, and improved fan availability so future stays cool more quickly. We hope to welcome you back.
