The Space:

Get away from it all and soak up some much-needed peace and serenity at this beautiful home sitting mere steps from the stunning beaches of the Oregon Coast. Spend calm mornings with a cup of coffee on the balcony as you watch the tide ebb and flow. Bring the dog along for a walk on the cold sand as the sun rises and collect shells as you go! When everyone wakes up and starts the day, a full kitchen awaits the cook of the group to whip up a delicious breakfast for all to enjoy at the two dining areas set for eight and the breakfast bar set for four. The loft area is just the place to relax with a good book and the back deck provides lounge chairs to soak up a bit of sun in privacy!

Great get away!

Very nice, well appointed property. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and also areas to get together and play games [killer UNO battles]. Only complaint [or quibble] was the upstairs hide-a-bed was a love seat single bed. Not ocean front but not a bad view.

Great for 8 people!

This house was great! It had a great location, so close to the ocean and had a great view of the water from the upper balcony. It was a short drive to the tiny shops there and only 20 minutes away from the Tillamook Cheese Factory. It is also dog friendly which is a huge plus, and was very affordable to the area. It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for comfortably accommodate 8 people. If you are looking for accommodate more people however, I would maybe look elsewhere. The four beds were great for two adults, but the sleeper sofas advertised are not usable at all. And one is actually a twin size. They were basically one piece of cloth over springs. I don’t think it would even be adequate for a smaller child. So our extra folks ended up having to sleep on the couches. Which was okay for us, but would definitely be something to think about when booking for larger groups! Otherwise we loved our stay here, we had so much fun. If we ever come back to the beach here we will definitely be looking at this house to potentially stay at again!

Family/Friends Gathering Place

This spacious house is situated in a quiet Rockaway Beach neighborhood. 4 bdrms/4baths! Superclean! Kitchen well equipped for bkfst/lunch/dinner cooking for 12. Large windows in the living space, both front and back of house, perfect for storm watching. Pets welcome, too!

Beautiful View

Appreciated the ramp access and large picture windows. Perfect setting for a few days away from home. The lockbox for the keys was difficult to operate. Only one of the two keys in the box was functional.

Family vacation

The location is great, layout of the house is great for all ages, nice ocean view, kitchen well supplied except no tea kettle. The house needs a deep clean, big stains on the carpet, the furniture was stinky and all the mattresses and bedding and towels need updating. The back deck was wonderful too. If the beds were better we would return.

Nice visit

We’ve rented several different properties on the Oregon coast. Our last three visits have been here at Beachtown Bliss. This has been our favorite and we will likely return.

Poor plumbing

Poor kitchen and bathroom plumbing ruined the first three days of this trip! Upstairs bathroom toilet needs to be adjusted so it can be used and the brittle old plumbing in the kitchen sink ruined our first two meals of our stay! The response and poor repair job on the kitchen drain was unacceptable as it continued to fail until it was propped up to get us by!! Calls to the supposed repair people went unanswered and we gave up trying! A proper repair was never made!

Great Home For a Family Getaway!

What a wonderful spacious house this was! We were so grateful to have found a place that could accommodate me and my husband, our two adult sons and our teenaged daughter. The kids loved that they each had their own bedroom and access to plenty of bathrooms. I loved that the kitchen was stocked so we could eat most of our meals in - which meant fresh oysters and fish from the local marinas! The beach was a quick walk from the house - plenty of beach towels were provided. When the sun came out, we all headed into the water for a brisk swim! Rockaway Beach is less touristy than the other beaches we’ve hit. But it’s a close drive to Manzanita (for surfing!), Tillamook for cheese, and really beautiful hikes into old growth forests. This was a much needed vacation after two years of COVID! Thank you!

breath taking

The view was breath taking and listening to the ocean from the deck and views were wonderful. I always worry about pictures and how out dated they may be and these were as they seem in fact pictures don't do it justice when you see it for yourself. Grateful they shared their home with us family already wants to plan trip again.

Lots of room in this home!

We had a relaxed few nights away from the city for six older adults in this very spacious beach home! It was more than we needed, but with four bedrooms and three bathrooms it met our initial search criteria wishes. We hardly had enough time to enjoy many of the homes features, but they did meet our needs for our gathering. Plenty of things to do in this area, as well as up and down the coast from Rockaway Beach. We recommend doing an online search to discover the places and adventures available to you that fit your interests if you're not familiar with the area of the Oregon Coast! The time of year that you visit will impact what is available to you, as you would expect.

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

We had a wonderful time at this property. Only a few minutes to the beach. Lots of hikes and outdoor activities within driving distance. We really appreciated the spaciousness of the house. We had 7 adults and 3 kids under 5 and it felt just right. Would love to come again.

Great beach house!

Just the two of us with our two dogs. I’d definitely stay here again with a larger group. Only drawback was no green space for dogs.

Fabulous stay in Rockaway Beach

We just returned from a wonderful stay in Rockaway Beach at the Beach Bliss property. We had 8 adults and 6 young children from babies to 6 years old. We loved this beach house and would definitely stay there again. It was exactly as advertised and just perfect for our needs. We used the back door instead of what was technically the front door because the storm door on the front was almost impossible to get open, but the back door was just as handy. The beach access was super close. The kids loved playing on the back deck. We loved having the "loft" area for the kids to hang out in. There was plenty of room for spreading out and still being together. We appreciated the beach towels, toys and chairs in the garage. The kitchen had everything we needed! We also liked that the four bedrooms were a little bit spread out, so if a baby was having a rough night it didn't wake the whole house. We were surprised to find an extra bathroom down in the garage! If I had one suggestion for the owners it would be to get rid of most of their treasures on shelves, mantels, and bookcases. It makes it a bit less kid-friendly and a bit cluttered looking. But overall, it was a fantastic place to stay and we hope to return in the near future! Some of our favorite things to do with kids near Rockaway: 1.Tide pooling! We spent great mornings at the 3 graces at Garibaldi, about 7 minutes South, and at Hug Point, about 20 minutes north. Check for times for low tides. 2.Short kid friendly hikes- we love the Rockaway Old Tree trail, just 3 or 4 minutes from the Beach house. We also discovered the Kilchis Point Reserve Trail about 15 minutes to the South. Both are beautiful and doable for young kids. More like a nature walk. 3. Campfire on the beach. We carried our chairs, poles, and firewood down and roasted hot dogs and s'mores. 4. Seaside surrey rentals. 15 minutes North of Hug Point is Seaside. We were very glad to be staying at Rockaway, which is less busy and touristy, but we had a great lunch at Mo's on the beach and then rented bicycle surreys for an hour and the kids absolutely loved it. We got our whole group on two 6 person surreys. 5. Tillamook Cheese Factory and Blue Heron Cheese Factory 6. Kites and sand castles on the beach. We ate at Sanddollar on the beach and loved it. And ordered great pizza from Upper Crust.

Beach Stay

Awesome property, exactly as described and in pictures. Great location in Rockaway with amazing view of the ocean on the front side and nice view of a lake from the back deck. Could not have been a better fit for our group. Lots of extra towels. We were in Seaside for a soccer tournament so didn't really cook much but the home seemed to have pretty much anything you would need. The adults took the bedrooms and the kids used the loft and the main floor pull out couch. Kids build a nice bonfire on the beach with is right across the street. Great little shops and bakery, coffee etc in town just a short walk or minute drive away. Very easy check in/out. Best time--thanks for sharing!

Close to beach!

We enjoyed our stay in the house close to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked, even though the burners didn't all work well. The outdoor grill worked great. The house was clean and spacious. The large back deck had plenty of chairs for lounging around. The front balcony gave us a nice view of the ocean. We would go again!!!!
