Kom forelske sig i alt, hvad Cape Charles har at byde på. Slap af i denne kystnære levende familie hjem en kort gåtur til Cape Charles stranden eller butikkerne på Mason Avenue. Nyd den uformelle veranda med masser af siddepladser.

Gå i hoveddøren og se tv i stuen med masser af komfortable siddepladser. Eller gå gennem det helt nye køkken og tag en snack at spise på spise i området eller mere formelle spiseplads med shiplapvæg. Bag køkkenet er et stort vaskerum med en fuld vaskemaskine og tørretumbler og et komplet badeværelse. Fortsæt til baghaven til udendørs siddepladser nær grillen. Kommer tilbage fra stranden? Wonderful Place to stay at in Cape Charles!

We stayed here with 4 adults and 4 children (ages 11-13) and loved it. Check in and out was easy. The location was perfect and we walked to the beach and to all restaurants (we personally never felt like we needed a golf cart to get around). Wonderful backyard to hang out in and great open kitchen layout. The house was clean and we had no issues at all. We would definitely come here again!

It was okay

We’ve been coming to Cape Charles for about 6 years now, and this was our least favorite property that we’ve stayed in. The location is great and the house is generally nice (the kitchen is especially great). The four bedrooms were nice for our family of 5. But we had multiple issues that were quite inconvenient, especially considering the cost of stay. The upstairs bathroom tub drain was clogged (property mgmt resolved this with Drano when we notified them). The downstairs bathroom shower was infested with small flying bugs and the shower was completely unusable. Property mgmt came and treated with bug spray, which didn’t resolve the problem but left horrible toxic fumes for the remainder of the week. So the downstairs bathroom was basically unusable. There were also ants throughout the kitchen and laundry area when we arrived. While the house has AC, two of the upstairs bedrooms do not have any sort of air flow and it was very warm at night. Even an oscillating fan would be a huge improvement. We had a couple other minor inconveniences that I won’t bother listing, but we were disappointed and I don’t think we’ll return to this property in the future.

Hi Erin, Thank you for your feedback. Just prior to your check in we found out that the upstairs air conditioning unit had to be ordered and replaced, which is being done now. We were able to take 2 portable a/c units and set them up in the property prior to your arrival. The drainage system for that upstairs bathroom will also be getting replaced prior to next summer. The spray that we used was an organic bug spray made from plant oils that is safe for children and pets. Thank You!

Wedding Weekend!

The house was the perfect size for our family with room to spare. We loved sitting on the front porch to drink coffee in the morning and relax after staying up late for wedding activities. On Sunday we walked to breakfast and had fun shopping. The location was so convenient. We will definitely stay here again for another wedding next year.

We enjoyed the size of the kitchen and dining room, and the location of the house was nice.

Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach or main street (though I recommend bikes for a really great time). The porch was perfect for enjoying the evenings and having your morning coffee. Can't beat being just over a block from the beach and from shops so location is spot on. Hallmark Moments

Our family stayed at this property for Thanksgiving for the last two years. We enjoyed preparing meals in the spacious kitchen, playing board games, walking to the beach for spectacular sunsets and spending quality family time by the outdoor fire pit. Love the location, Cape Charles holiday traditions and the homes lovely decor.
