Great location.

The apartment has everything you can possibly need. Even snorkeling gear, beach chairs and a cooler! We didn’t need to use any of that stuff, but I’d imagine it could be very useful to people visiting with kids. Loved the balcony. Really nice pool. The only small complain is the bathroom tub. It’s in rough shape. Needs some remodeling. But even knowing that, I’d still book this place again.

Million dollar view! Clean property…quiet.

Everything was as described, owners made this so easy…well equipped with everything needed. Never had to use the AC…ocean breeze filled the condo, property was well maintained, super friendly staff. Would definitely return! Thank you for everything!

The department is poorly equipped

The department is poorly equipped. For example it doesn’t have a dishwasher and the dishes are melamine and incomplete. The view is amazing and the neighborhood is beautiful.

As the condo is a studio. adding a dishwasher would take away from the valuable cupboard space, which we want to maximize for our guests convenience. We also want to mention that a dishwasher was not listed as one of the amenties. Regarding the dishware, most of our dishes are Corelle, which are durable and ideal for everyday use. The melamine and plastic dishes are provided specifically for guests to use at the pool and BBQ, as glass is not permitted in those areas. Thank you for staying with us..

Right on the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! Kitchen had everything that we needed! Was enough space for 2 of us. The view from balcony was spectacular! Easy check in and check out. Parking was $15 per day. Would come back again and will recommend to my friends and family! Affordable place and close to a nice beautiful beaches and bays, where we went snorkeling at Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay, and we went for a hike just pass Kapalua Bay for beautiful views of the ocean! And we eat at Dollie's Pub, they have great pizzas!

Can’t wait to return for a perfect getaway!

Thankyou for letting us stay in your lovely,cozy studio at the Royal Kahana! It was perfect for the 2 of us-it was very clean and had all the essentials provided! The best was the ocean view from the lanai and the beach out front-we even snorkeled on the reef right off the beach! Washer and dryer are a bonus.We enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunsets from the pool while BBQing in the evenings. The short drive to Kapalua Bay for AMAZING snorkeling was very convenient! We also loved eating at Dollie’s Pub right across the street. Can’t wait to stay here again for a perfect getaway! Mahalo!!!!!

Beautiful Maui!

Great view of the passage of the ocean, the whales, sunset. Pretty big space with an adequate kitchen for a quick visit. I couldn’t figure out how to turn off the fan and keep the bedside lamp on. It was cold some nights so I would have liked to turn it off. The place could use some updating. Decorative touches were pretty “granny” looking. Most importantly the mattress needs to be replaced. Both sides are are valleys with a rise in the middle.

As we had explained, they are both run off switches on the wall, so we are not sure why you were having trouble. We are unsure what you feel needed to be updated as the kitchen has been fully renovated, along with the floors in the condo. The bathroom has a new vanity, cupboards and tiles. The condo has also recently been freshly painted. The mattress is also quite new, but we will look into the need to have it flipped. Thank you for staying with us.

Sweet, clean condo with amazing view

We stayed at the property for a week and had a great experience. The condo is clean and had everything we needed. There is a small kitchen but it had all the essentials and we were able to cook easily. And it was nice to have access to three beach chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler. The TV was easy to use and we enjoyed the on-demand service. Also the bed is very comfortable. The view is amazing! And it was fun to see he pool from the balcony as well, and I was impressed as the pool guy was out there every morning cleaning it. I liked being on the second floor as the water seemed close and the condo was easy to get to. I also liked how the condo complex had a small gym, the pool, access to the beach right in front of the facility, and a lovely grassy area with lawn chairs. Sandy and Gabe were very responsive to communication as well. I would absolutely stay here again - it was clean accommodations with all we needed and felt like a great value.

Great stay in Maui

First time in Hawaii for my partner and I, and this stay went pretty seamlessly. We did not plan to spend too much time in our accommodations, and rather be out and about sightseeing and whatnot, and this place worked perfectly for just that. It met our needs but was generally no-frills, so if that is what you are looking for I would recommend this stay. The unit was clean and tidy and provided additional amenities such as trash/plastic bags, coffee filters, towels, etc. The bed was very comfortable, and there is a nice balcony with a decent view. AC unit was not super strong so if you like it freezing don't expect that here. Check in and out was easy. Parking was $18 a day which the front desk takes care of when you check in. The pool area is nice and kid friendly. Gerald was very communicative upon reaching out to any questions we had. I would stay here again. If you are set on the Lahaina area this is a great spot. I will say it does take a bit longer to get to certain parts of the island from here vs. more centrally located spots such as a Kihei. So if you are not familiar with the logistics of Maui, that is something to think about depending on what you have on your agenda. Overall I would reccomend this spot.

Great place to whale watch!

We stayed 5 nights in this condo and found it to be perfect for our needs. It was clean! This is our first time staying in a condo vs a hotel and we really enjoyed the conveniences of a condo. We feel that our time was spent more efficiently because we could cook our own breakfast and sometimes dinner and dine leisurely on the lanai while watching the whales. The condo is just around the corner from a convenience store and a full-blown grocery store, TImes Supermarket, was just a short drive away. The property owner and on-site property manager were both very responsive when we reported that only one key card was in the lock box when we arrived. One was OK with us, but just wanted them to know so that we wouldn't be fined. It was promptly handled. The property owner provided everything we needed in the kitchen. I also liked having a vacuum cleaner to use so that I could ensure the floors were clean each day. We took the Pacific Whale Foundation tour and it was wonderful! We also went to the Haleakala National Park during the afternoon because we didn't want to drive up in the cold and dark. It was a beautiful place. Of course, we enjoyed the beaches and vistas. Since we had a late departure on Saturday, we went to the Maui Swap Meet at 270 Dairy Rd. This was a great place to pick up last minute souvenirs and clothing at good prices. We hope to be back soon for more Ululani's shave ice...delicious. Mahalo to the property owners, Gerald and Sandy.
