We felt so lucky to have found this little cabin on the east side of the park. It was beautiful and conveniently located and had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay here and the host was fabulous and helpful! We used the trailheads down the road from the cabin and enjoyed the deer in the backyard in the mornings. We loved the privacy of this cabin! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautifully equipped place, quiet area. Glad we had a small SUV, the road to get there can get dicey if it’s wet, but owner also supplied alternate directions for that very reason. Close proximity to Zion on the quiet side of the park. Tour company at Ponderosa Park very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Far exceeded our expectations! The photos in the listing can’t convey how new and clean this property is. Such a pleasant surprise after a long day of travel. Even the landscape was well tended.. and was a perfect representation of the natural environment in the area. Location of the house is ideal for visiting both east and west Zion and all the neighboring towns. We were able to enjoy the community and then retreat to our secluded cabin for quiet evenings in. Couple notes to help you along the way. Sharon is a fantastic host! Very responsive and knowledgeable. Review all the information she provides. Especially if this is your first time visiting Zion. Stop at the store before you head out to the property. Be prepared to lose cell reception and gps navigation. Try to plan your trip to arrive during daylight. Little tricky navigating in the dark. Once at the property, we found if you start directions to a location while on the WiFi in the cabin, it tends to stay connected through the duration. If you try to connect while in the vehicle, it rarely worked until you get to the town. Go slow everywhere in the area. Lots of wildlife crossings. We could not have been happier with our choice.. perfect place to celebrate a 20yr wedding anniversary!

Hiker’s Haven could easily be called Hummingbird Haven—we were delighted to be greeted by swarms of hummingbirds enjoying the obviously recently filled feeders. They kept us quite entertained for much of our stay.The cabin itself was a wonderful place to land at the end of each day. It is truly beautiful—we appreciated the lovely ceramics that line the open shelves and the variety of artwork found throughout. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we might have needed to fix gourmet meals (if we had wanted). The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, and the heated bidet toilet seat was an unanticipated delight! We also appreciated the high ceilings and hot shower with good water pressure and a shower head we didn’t have to duck to fit under!We missed not having an indoor space to comfortably hang out when the bugs outside got too annoying—but it wasn’t a huge issue for us since most of our time was spent exploring the area away from the cabin. We also had to deal with a leaky tire on our rental car, which made the relatively remote location of the cabin and the dirt road seem more daunting than it might have otherwise.

Amazing stay! Hosts are great and very responsive. We absolutely loved this location because it’s secluded and away from the crowds in Zion, yet close enough to hit all of the sights in Zion and Bryce. Would recommend and stay again!
