The vacation apartment is an ideal starting point for hikes in the southern Black Forest. The nearby Feldberg, as well as Titisee and Schluchsee, are perfect for day trips, hikes, and bike rides.
Whether you’re looking for an active or leisurely experience, the region has the right tours for everyone.

In the center of the health resort town of Hinterzarten, known for its therapeutic climate, you’ll find many small shops and restaurants that invite you to linger.
Hinterzarten also has plenty to offer sports enthusiasts. The town is known for its ski jump, which hosts World Cup competitions.

Just about a 30-minute drive away is the city of Freiburg, known for its beautiful old town and Freiburg Cathedral. But even without a car, the city is easily accessible via the Black Forest Railway, to which Hinterzarten is connected.

Alternatives to an idyllic Black Forest vacation include Europapark (about a 1-hour drive) and the Badeparadies Schwarzwald water park (about a 10-minute drive).
