great stay

Great place. Warm. All the boxes checked. attention to detail. The real treasure of this place is the location, the stars are the amazing trees. The trees are out of this world. Enjoy them at the perfect place, right next to the 17 mile dr.

Family vacation

Charming Home in the Woods

Very comfortable updated home with all of the amenities. Wonderful, quiet neighborhood added to the enjoyment of the stay. There were four of us, but the home would accommodate six or even eight guests.

The perfect golfers and family escape.

My wife and I spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. It’s a perfect home for four golfers or a family gathering. Very well located to Pebble Beach Lodge as well as Spyglass and Spanish Bay. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Location…Great House

Lots to do in the area…close to Carmel, Monterey, and wineries and walking distance from the beach. House had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms and has a lovely great room set up for gathering. Owners were prompt in all communications and everything was just as expected. We would not hesitate to recommend this rental to friends or family!

Fabulous Pebble Beach House!

Three couples spent two nights at this immaculate and perfectly located home. Everyone had their own bathroom, a real find when it's a couples outing...The kitchen was fully stocked, all we had to do was bring our own food and enjoy a great meal together in the lovely atrium. A five minute walk to Seal Rock started each morning on a great note. Will definitely stay here again!

Comfy home In amazing Northern CA coast

We needed a place for a family(our 3 adult kids) to land for wedding event in Seaside- when they left 2 couples came- home was perfect to relax in, after going out- shopping or back from dinner! Beautiful lot, fireplace and couch where conversations could happen! Wonderfully stocked kitchen with convenient items to use in a pinch! Worth every dime- definitely want to return! Thank you MS and SS

Terrific House and Great Owners

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-1/2 month stay May-Sept 2016. The kitchen is fabulous with every imaginable utensil, pot, pan, dishes galore, glasses, beautiful spacious fridge, and professional cook top. Three bathrooms made it easy to have guests comfortably. Large master walk in closet was great. High speed internet. Good location and responsive owners always available to help with Qs.

Wonderful stay in Pebble Beach area

we recently had the pleasure of staying at this property. We had 3 couples and 2 toddlers and the property was perfect. We wanted a property within close proximity of Monterey and the golf courses but with the main criteria being able to walk to the ocean. This did not disappoint! It was an easy drive to many nearby attractions/ locations but even better it was a very easy walk down to the beaches and the ocean. The two toddlers absolutely loved being able to go to the beach so easily. The property itself was also a pleasure. it is in a very quiet neighborhood, but only a short drive to Trader Joes/ Safeway. A deer was there to greet us on our first evening! It was absolutely immaculate on arrival, the kitchen had everything you could think of and was well stocked. The garden is very safe and again it was a hit with the little ones! it was slightly harder to book this property than some other VRBO properties (no online payment) but it did not detract form our experience at all, in fact I understand it more after staying. if that was my property I would take extra care as well. Thank you Mark for a very pleasurable experience and going the extra mile to check we were all set. Summary 5 stars, don't hesitate to book.

Overall a lovely stay

The location is wonderful- about a 15 minute walk to the beach (one of the previous reviews said 5 minutes so I wanted to make sure everyone knew that was obviously a different property). The home was generally very pleasant with each bedroom set up nicely. The dining room with all the natural light can't be beat.

Great home in wonderful location

The home is even nicer than the pictures. Fully equipped kitchen, warm and welcoming great room, and located in the middle of the peninsula - easy walk to beach, quick drive to Carmel, Pacific Grove or the Aquarium in Monterey! Owners very responsive too! Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful Home in Pebble Beach

The home was wonderful and perfectly setup for our family. It was very comfortable and charming. We would definitely stay the again when possible. The owners were responsive and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

A fantastic golf location

We were are group of 3 couples that love to golf and cook. This home did not disappoint. The location was perfect on 17 mile drive and the neighborhood was beautiful. The home was spotless well maintained and had everything to cook and serve fabulous meals. The dinning area looks out to the manicured yard and it is beautiful. Beds were comfortable with nice linens, bathrooms were well stocked too. We all enjoyed our 8 day stay in this home and appreciated the owners care and attention to all the details that make vacations great!!

Days at the Beach

This house was very comfortable, the instructions were clear and well defined. The kitchen is well equipped. The beach is an easy walk. The only drawback we found was poor lighting in the great room, but that certainly is not a deal breaker!

Always Great

We love staying here :) Whenever we are in the area, Mark and Susan's is our go to home. They are communicative thoughtful hosts, the neighborhood is beautiful and the home makes you feel like you're in a home that is loved.

Monterey Dream come true

Our stay at 1093 Herders Road was fantastic - charming home was clean and comfortable - 5 minute walk to beach - 2 minute drive to Spyglass golf course - short ride to Carmel and Pacific Grove - when we plan our return trip will definitely try to book this home again

Excellent

The property is beautiful and well maintained. We spent three weeks with our dogs there and walked to the beach every day which was such a treat. It is in a lovely quiet neighborhood and we would highly recommend it.

Fabulous home and neighborhood!

The house is beautifully maintained and well appointed! It has everything family needs in order to have a lovely vacation by the sea! The homeowners are wonderful to work with and made us feel very welcome we hope to return again!

We are nestled between Spyglass, Pebble Beach, MPCC, Spanish Bay and Poppy Hills golf courses with access to the ocean close enough to walk at anytime of the day or night.

This beautifully remodeled Country Club Classic is filled with charm, warmth & light. Overlooks 10 ac. greenbelt, in private setting w/lush landscaping front and back including over 2000 square feet of family friendly synthetic turf -- always green and always beautiful. The deck area boasts a complete compliment of teak furniture and an outdoor Grill. Enjoy the quiet Patio area on the opposite side of the yard with access to a fabulous Dining Room Solarium and the Great Room with w/timbered cathedral ceiling.
