We had an awesome week at the CODtage. The location is perfect, only a few steps to the beach and we can walk to the restaurants and carnival. It was our 11 times in Carolina Beach and Janice was by far the best host we had! She made sure that everything was perfect for our stay and she responded really quickly to our message.

This property has everything you would need to vacation at the beach. It’s VERY clean and organized. We loved that there were beach chairs, toys, and a shade to be used on the beach too. It is convenient to walk to restaurants or the boardwalk. If staying on a Thursday night- must watch the fireworks right on the beach! That was a highlight. All in all, great property and location and great communication with the host!

Hands down will be the best house and host you will ever stay with. The house was spotless , less than two minute walk to the beach , came with all toiletries needed, and the gift basket on arrival with the kite for my daughter was perfect. This house is everything you will ever look for. I would recommend staying here when visiting Carolina beach. We will be back without a doubt. Thank you for everything !

The CODtage is amazing property. Janice has thought of everything. She is a very communicative and friendly host. The CODtage has a properly kitted out kitchen. I was able to cook several meals and had all of the utensils, pots, pans, cutting board, colander, etc to easily prepare our food. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Each room has a ceiling fan. She had extra trash bags, dish washer pods, laundry soap, which made it very easy to settle in without having to make an extra trip out. I’ve been coming to Carolina Beach for over a decade. Janice is the best host we’ve ever had and the CODtage is probably the nicest property we’ve ever stayed. We’ll definitely make a return trip to the CODtage.

Wow! We couldn’t have been more impressed with our stay at the COD-tage! It was spotless upon arrival and the hosts had left a thoughtful welcome gift for us. It is very well appointed in terms of decor, dish ware, appliances, furniture, etc. The owners of this property are definitely “top shelf”. As far as location, it is very close to the ocean and right by a public beach access. You can enjoy a view of the ocean from the front porch and getting onto the beach takes about a minute.The beach area close to the public beach access is very clean and not too crowded. We could set up right there for a day on the beach and also watch the Thursday night fireworks right from that spot as well. Additionally, it is a short walk to the boardwalk area, downtown shops and restaurants. Very convenient! Excellent location!!The owners have a very helpful binder with great suggestions for restaurants and activities. They reached out to ensure that everything was going smoothly during our stay and it was obvious that they genuinely wanted to ensure that we had a great time. I definitely recommend and would love to stay here again sometime!!!

Beautiful house, very clean and great location. Easy access to beach and within walking distance to the boardwalk! House was well equipped with cooking utensils and other cleaning supplies. Would definitely stay here again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Carolina Beach/ CODtage #2. The property is stunning, meticulously decorated and beautifully maintained. Everything you could need is there. Communication with host is very responsive. You are only 50 ft from beach access! A great find! We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Janice and Pat!

The best place at Carolina Beach. The house is immaculate, and the host has thought of every small detail. The fact that they supply chairs and umbrellas and sand toys is so helpful so you don’t have to pack everything with you. She contacted me multiple times while there to make sure that everything was going well. This will be a must stay for me and my family.
