Amazing oceanfront views

Great beach and amazing views right from the balcony. Management was a pleasure to deal with and really cared that we enjoyed our stay.

This was a great property with beautiful views and ideal location. Communication with the owners before and during our stay was timely. Looking forward to staying there again.

Oceanfront paradise!

Loved this condo.! Amazing views of the ocean...it was a perfect and relaxing get-away for my husband and I.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The arrival experience was great. It would have been appreciated if an “ant alert” had been included in the rental package. We left home made banana bread on the counter to find it infested with ants the next morning. Food was not left on the counter in future nights, but we saw scouts each morning. The fireplace adds a very nice touch.

Wonderful location. This place is truly on the beach

Awesome location

The location of this condo could not be better. Well appointed and modern, the unit and the overall property features were more than adequate. The condo was very pricey, which was the only downside that would keep us from returning.

Amazing….

This condo in Solana Beach had amazing views! The condo itself was very clean. The neighborhood/town was quaint, clean, and we felt very safe. The crashing of the waves down below was so calming especially at night. The rental company Stubbs/owner were great to work with and responded always in a timely manner.

Great home!

Everything was such a great experience! The views are amazing. The location was perfect, in a really nice quiet spot. We think best spot on the property! The ease of booking and checking in, is a nice easy process. There are a lot of stairs to get to beachfront, but necessary to have that amazing view! The condo is stocked nicely with what you need for the beach. Including chairs, beach toys and even surf boards that made it really easy to enjoy all the beach has to offer. Such a great visit, would definitely stay here again!

Healing Vacation

We have not traveled since Covid began but we had to come to Southern California for medical reasons, & this is where we stayed. The condo was the perfect choice. It was so healing to have this beautiful view & the sounds of the ocean during our stay. The property was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, & everything that we needed for cooking was in the kitchen. We sat on the balcony every night & watched the sunset. We also used the convenient access to walk the beach. I am so sad to be leaving this lovely condo. We will definitely return!

Beautiful location Superior Stay

The property was better than the pictures. The view from the deck was amazing. In December we kept the door open all night just to hear the sounds of the ocean. The complex was safe and secure. Locked gates. The furniture and bedding were high quality. The complex was quiet with direct access to the beach. We had no problems and everything was perfect. If you are looking to get away and enjoy the beach this IS the location! Communication with the rental company was great. Check in and out was quick and easy. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing Beach and Ocean Views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In my opinion this is a very comfortable unit. Loved the ocean views! If that is your priority this is the place for you! The kitchen was updated and well equipped. The bathrooms have been updated, nice shower, Toto/bidet toilet. Would have appreciated a chair in the master bedroom, a dresser with drawers that open and close without difficulty, and bed linens that fit the bed. The pillows were king size with standard size pillow cases, the “fitted” bed sheet was much too large for the low profile mattress. I was also not happy with the bath towels, Motel 6 quality. That said, this unit was not a disappointment.

Wonderful condo in a great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Views are amazing! The unit was perfect for my family of 3. Beds were comfortable. Showers and sinks were all good. The cleaning crew could spend a little more time cleaning. The kitchen still had sticky food residue on a few of the cabinet handles, but aside from that, the kitchen had all the amenities you could need. Dishwasher was a little finicky, but, was able to get it to work on one cycle. Having a fireplace was great and easy to use for cool nights. Patio deck was sufficient to enjoy the amazing ocean views. 2nd level was nice because you weren't directly on the walkway. Easy access to parking garage and no stairs to contend with to get to the unit. Overall, this was a great stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great Property - Unlucky Timing

This property is in a great location and the property itself is amazing. We were just unlucky with our timing in that the unit below us was under renovation and they spent the entire week we were there putting in a new patio right below our porch. So the porch we paid extra for was pretty much unusable during the day while the workers were working below us. They were nice enough but not something you want when you're on a vacation. We talked to Stubb's about it and were basically told they couldn't do anything for us unless the workers were making too much noise or working outside of the HOA approved hours. It would have been nice to have any sort of support from Stubbs like a discount on the rate, or a care package of some sort, rather than saying they couldn't do much of anything for us. Other than that like I said the property itself was great and had everything we needed and would recommend it to someone else - just hope there isn't a renovation happening nearby during your stay. The remainder of the experience with Stubbs was great and straightforward but just didn't appreciate the lack of support after we paid extra to have a beachfront condo to use the porch.

Lights out at Sunny Side Up

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation rental had an excellent location and matched the property description very well. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had convenient parking. Unfortunately, during our stay the power went out to our unit. The main breaker for the unit was tripped and needed to be reset. This should not have been a big deal to flip the breaker and get on with the rest of our vacation. The breaker, however, was in a locked room attached to the building. The manager (Stubbs) did not immediately respond, but the owner of the unit showed up to try to help gain access. Stubbs (and maybe the HOA?) continued to try to say we could just flip the breaker and refused to believe the door was locked. The owner was not able to get access to the breaker and we were left the rest of the day and night without any power in the unit. There were no flashlights in the unit and it was a very hot night with no fans. One family member was without their sleeping machine and did not sleep. The power was restored the next day after being out for more than 15 hours. Overall, this was a terrible experience for something so simple as a breaker. Stubbs did apologize profusely and offer a small refund (less than 40% of one night rental fee) in response to the situation.Other small things that could make the property better: -Property lacked on some cooking utensils (no pizza cutter, ice cream scooper)-Property has fairly transparent blinds with sidewalk lights outside the unit, so the window's will not be dark at nightPositives:-Great Parking-Welcome packet and unit binder were thorough with instructions and rules-The available surfboards and boogieboards made our week!-Unbeatable view-Responsiveness of owner-Excellent location-Great neighbors (most of which are permanent residents - not renters)

Amazing View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful private corner location and view. Enjoyed watching the surfers, dolphins, volleyball players and watercraft. Nicely remodeled - especially the bathrooms and kitchen. Furniture is comfortable but couch is very low and difficult to get up off of if you have joint problems. Appreciated having a TV in the bedroom. Ice machine not working - needs ice trays. Surf is extremely loud. Unit does not have A/C and was even a bit warm in April. Parking is in a garage and was relatively close to unit but might be difficult for mobility challenged people. 10am check out - especially since you had to bring the key back to the property management office by 10am was not ideal - especially at the price point of the unit.
