The Space:

This wonderful Gulf-front rental has a commanding view of the mesmerizing Gulf of Mexico. The living room will provide you access to this wonderful private balcony. You will enjoy sitting on the balcony which is furnished with chairs and a table for your comfort and enjoyment.



The floor-to-ceiling patio doors enhance your view of the Gulf of Mexico. The kitchen comes equipped with all the comforts of home, including a full-size refrigerator, cooktop stove and oven, microwave, and dishwasher. All the utensils needed to prepare and serve meals are supplied for your convenience. If you elect to not eat in then there are many wonderful restaurants located nearby as well as shopping available in Fort Walton Beach and Destin, Florida. This unit has 2 TVs, 2 DVD players, and a CD stereo system located in the living room.

There is no elevator in the building.

We didn’t have internet for 3 days . The condo was clean, but we were disappointed that we didnt have beach set up . Had to pay extra for that

This place was great aside from needing to be a bit cleaner. The view was awesome and you really can't beat being able to walk right to the beach (especially when you have a toddler lol) . Kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. I did have to sweep/vacume the floors as soon as we arrived because there was sand every where. We don't wear shoes in condos and after a few minutes barefoot our feet were black. Other than that everything was awesome!

Great view and location in Ft.Walton

Island Sands is a gem tucked in between several larger places. With great beach access and accommodations, you can’t find a nicer place for the price. The condo was clean, the bed was comfy, and the just the right size!

It was a great getaway!! I had never stayed at Fort Walton before, our condo was a nice little place and easy beach access! The place was clean and everything seemed to work well!

The condo was nice and clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful. I think the price was a little high for what it was given it was one bedroom and there was no elevator. The fan in the bedroom also needs tightened as it clicks when turned on anything but low. The sofa bed was also not very comfy. The condo did have some stuff that was stocked which was convenient and had a washer and dryer which was very nice. Overall. I would recommend the place based on those things alone. We did enjoy our time.

Enjoyed our stay

We’ve stayed in island sands 2 times prior, each a different unit. This one measured up to the others and was very enjoyable. Nice coming back to the same area as we’re familiar with shopping, eateries and more

Our getaway to Fort Walton Beach

The place was very clean very comfortable the only drawback was the cold water knob in the shower was broke and the bifold door to the washer and dryer just came apart on us

The Best!

Have stayed at Island Sands numerous times in different condos. While all have been extremely nice, this one is my favorite. Wonderful location and view from the balcony. Condo was clean, well equipped and was very comfortable there.

Super comfy and clean!!

This property was exactly as described/pictured. It was super clean and comfy. The matress on queen bed was so comfy!!! The fold-out was fine for our little kids. Beach and water were beautiful, never crowded. Location was great, easy to get to other island attractions. Would defiantly stay here again!!!

The whole condo needs updating and bad! Couch stinks and couch need you can’t sleep on it you’ll sink in the hole! Great view on ocean but wow this condo in dated and lots of issues
