The AC and water issues you experienced have already been addressed with our maintenance team. Sorry we were not able to get that resolved during your stay. We also hear you on the value question. Guest feedback like yours helps us make sure our pricing reflects the actual experience, and we're taking that seriously. Regarding the area itself, small towns and quieter areas have their own charm, but they're definitely a different pace of life, and not every traveler is looking for that. The Vallecito area is a small community with limited shops and restaurants. Most guests drive into Bayfield or Durango for more options. We're committed to being a place guests feel good about staying, and your honest review is pushing us in the right direction. We hope you'll give the area another chance someday, whether with us or elsewhere. Wishing you better travels ahead.
