We all enjoyed staying at this property! When we checked in, we had an issue with the water, but the property manager was responsive and fixed the issue very quickly. It’s right by Layton’s Family Restaurant which is a great breakfast location! Would stay here again!

This was a great stay away from home during the July 4th weekend for us (2 people). There is ample space in the townhome, a full kitchen and very quick walk to the boardwalk and beach! Would stay here again.

Really nice place

Bay Island 4 is a very nice place to stay. Very comfortable and clean. The home is a five star but I gave it a four due to having to cross a couple busy streets to get to the beach. I would recommend this place to stay.

Visit to Ocean City

Balconies in every bedroom were super nice. Very clean and spacious. 2 spots to park and everything was 10 - 15 minutes to walk to. With 4 people staying there was plenty of hot water for showers.

Great stay with Family

Enjoyed a long weekend with our daughter & son and his family, long overdue time with family. The unit was perfect for our group size and we could gather together at the end of the days activities to unwind. A huge blessing for all of us.

Great space!

Parking was super easy, short walk to the beach, plenty of space for everyone to hang out/eat/sleep. It's not right on the beach, but we knew that going in. Thanks for letting us use the property!

Great long weekend

Clean, close walking distance to beach, boardwalk, and other interests. Pictures match actual house. Nice to have two off street parking spaces. Easy reservation and check in. Would definitely stay here again and/or recommend to others.

So much better than a hotel room!

Stayed with another couple for a short weekend get-a-way. The place was spotless and I believe all brand new. Bedrooms were big, as was upstairs bathroom, downstairs shower is a little small but not a big deal. Parking spots are right in the front of the building. Would definitely stay there again.

Visit to Ocean City

Lovely time had by all. Very clean and up to date. Balconies in each bedroom were a hit. With 4 people there was plenty of hot water for the showers. The washer and dryer were very handy with swimsuits and towels. Only thing we could of used was a hose outside to rinse our feet before heading into the house.

Great location, not ideal beach setup

Easily walkable to the beach. Parking out front is convenient. Kitchen has all the utensils and things you need. The lack of an outdoor shower or covered accessible outdoor space to hang beach stuff to dry makes it almost impossible to avoid tracking sand into the house.

Property was perfect, property management sucks!!!!

Everything in the home was wonderful, as far as what we needed during the day (front door key pad died 3 days in though). At night, no ROKU on tv in bedrooms (no pin# provided), ceiling fan/light in living room was missing remote so we could not hang out in there.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us, Irene. We’re glad to hear that everything in the home met your daytime needs and that you were able to enjoy your stay overall. It’s always our goal to provide a comfortable and convenient environment for our guests. That said, we’re truly sorry for the inconveniences you encountered with the front door keypad dying after just a few days, the missing PIN that prevented access to Roku on the bedroom TVs, and the absence of a remote for the living room ceiling fan and light. We understand how these issues could have limited your enjoyment of the space, and we sincerely apologize for any frustration this caused. Please know that we have forwarded your concerns to our local team so they can address these matters promptly and ensure a smoother experience for future guests. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our services and amenities. Thank you again for bringing these points to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another stay, where everything will be in perfect working order and you can fully relax and enjoy your time.

Loved the location

Loved location .would be good if hand towels and hand soaps are in bathrooms .Also if checkout time was at 11 am like most other places it would be good . I see cleaning people came before 10 am and kind of felt rushing as they were standing in front of door . AC vents are on the floor for both the bedrooms , the 1 with 2 beds doesnot grt cool at all . 2 Beds in 2nd room are so small , not comfortable for tall people to fit in there .
Svar fra VrboOwner den 24. jul. 2025
Hi Swarna, thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the location and appreciate your suggestions. We're sorry the early arrival of the cleaning team made you feel rushed, this isn't the experience we aim to provide. Regarding your concerns, our local team confirmed both bathrooms had standard hand towels per Vacasa policy, and the home was stocked with the standard starter kit. The guest room features two full-size beds, as listed, and the AC system has been checked and consistently maintains a temperature below 72°F. We value your input and hope to welcome you back for an even better stay.

Serviceable

Location was nice and quiet with a quick walk to the beach/boardwalk. As for the unit- could use some curb appeal. All 3 balconies had broken doors and were a mess so we couldn’t enjoy them. Time for an upgrade. Also a chair was broken severely limiting seating for our group in the living room so we chilled on our beach chairs. Otherwise it was comfortable, roomy and 2 full bathrooms were clutch. Would stay again but needs some TLC. Thanks!!

Great stay overall.

This townhouse is well updated and in a great location to the beach and boardwalk. We rented bikes and it was easy to ride to most places! AC works really well and it was easy to connect to WiFi and set up our Nintendo Switch for games on the TV. Small inconvenience was there was no toilet paper rolls when we arrived. This was easily fixed when we went to get our groceries. A larger inconvenience was there seemed to be a small ant problem in the kitchen. Even though the rest of the house seemed to be thoroughly cleaned, we would see a few ants on the wall and countertops each time we were in the kichen and it made cooking tricky. These inconveniences didn't keep us from having a great vacation, so overall I would still recommend this location for a beach trip. I just hope the owners/property management look into the ant issue.

Hi, Rebecca! It's wonderful to hear you enjoyed your stay at Bay Island. We apologize for the missed toilet paper and any other inconveniences as we work on expanding our management team to ensure optimal guest services. We appreciate your patience as we iron out the wrinkles that come with change. Ants are a problem throughout town during this season. We set out ant bait regularly. Hopefully this won't deter you from returning. We'd love to see you again!

The property was excellent!! It was the property management company, Vacasa, we were not happy with!!We could not find the fan/light remote for the living room ceiling fan. This would have been the room we were going to use the most, as a family!Their response:“Have you checked everywhere, inside drawers?”Seriously, I will be 64 next month, obviously I’ve checked EVERYWHERE already before contacting them!!!!I told them that!Their response was that they were creating a service ticket and asked for the best contact number to reach me at and would we mind if they entered the property if we are not there?I gave them my number and yes they could enter to resolve this if we weren’t there.NOTHING! No one came and we still had no fan for the living room. It was uncomfortable to sit in there to watch a movie so we all went to our respective rooms to watch tv there. Then on Wednesday we were getting ready to leave to go enjoy OC, but the front door key code would not work. I tried many times and it just would not work. No sliding of the lever inside when entering the code, no noise what so ever…. It was dead! This time I called Vacasa. Got a very arrogant man on the phone asking me stupid questions on how I was locking the door!!!!Uhmmmmm, I’m entering the code and turning the knob and nothing! Not brai
