The property is in a very convenient location, peak view of the ocean. good layout. Could have a few more hooks to hang towels, beach bags, sweatshirts…Kitchen was sufficient. Owners/rental platform were very proactive and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

5 days in Vacasa

The location is amazing - an incredibly quick walk to the beach. For a couple looking for great access to a beautiful beach, this is a nice spot.

The cottage was lovely and central to the beach, the location is great, but unfortunately we booked it on the premise that it was walkable to local restaurants and bars, unfortunately we were not informed that all of theses facilities were closed during the dates we booked.

MAUSHOP Village is a Gem!

This was our second time staying at a property in MAUSHOP Village. It is such an adorable community! This particular home was a quick walk to the private beach. It was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time there!

Fantastic property, private beach

This place was perfect for us, a beautiful community, quiet, private beach, easy drive to Falmouth or Hyannis. Mashpee Commons right up the road. If you want to do a beach vacation this is as easy as it gets.

This is a five star property! Anytime we emailed with questions Vacasa was very quick to respond with the information we needed. This was a mom and daughter trip and we felt very safe the whole time we stayed here. The accommodations were perfect and met all of our expectations. We will definitely be back! Oh and also the 2 minute walk to the beach was amazing. And the 5 minute walk to Raw Bar was perfect for our dinners out. Thank you for the most wonderful time!

The location is hard to beat but the beds and bedding were terribly uncomfortable. So much so I went to Homegoods to buy sheets and pillows to get thru. It’s apparent that things have not been updated there in a very long time.

Pretty little cottage. Perfect size for 2 of us. Clean and comfortable. Tough to be there on a hot, humid weekend with no AC and only 1 fan which we unplugged and moved room to room with us! Next time I will check the listing for AC a little more closely. Or bring my own window fan!

Cute Place

This cottage is really cute and comfortable! The whole place was very clean, inside and out. (Probably the cleanest vacation rental we've stayed at!) The bed is relatively comfortable, furnishings sufficient. Some stuff is slightly outdated, but everything works for a small vacation home. Perfect for a couple. The location is nice, it is an end unit only a few blocks from the ocean. Would definitely recommend!

The cottage was tiny and didn’t have sufficient kitchen supplies. No air conditioning and in weathered shape. I was happy to move to our next rental.

Great stay for personal writing retreat

The stay was great. Quiet neighborhood in the off season and a quick walk to the beach. The interior was perfect for writing. The kitchenette was dated and the stove/range was iffy but I managed to make simple meals. Only major issue was the bathroom sink had no cold water valve so it was too hot to wash and brush teeth in the bathroom. Had to use the kitchen. Also I opted for late check out (2pm) and was able to pay for it through the app. But the cleaning crew came at 12 and said they had someone checking in at 4 so I had to leave. Might not stay at this property again, but I would stay in that area.

Maushop by the Sea is a charming little place located off the beaten path and near the water. The comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and nice linens was delightful after a full day exploring on the Cape.The nearby beach looked lovely, but by early November, access had been removed within the complex. The small galley kitchen featured a microwave, stove, oven and toaster oven for meal preparation. However, there were no potholders for handling hot items, no plastic wrap to protect the inside of the microwave from splatters and no oven-safe bakeware or baking sheet that is needed to heat prepared foods.Other kitchen items that would have been helpful include trivets, cutting boards, extra kitchen towels, scissors, pen/pencil and paper.The luggage rack was much appreciated, especially as clear surfaces for placing travel items was limited to the small bedside tables and the portion of the dresser not taken up my the TV in the bedroom.The body soap, shampoo and conditioner supplied in the shower were top-notch and the towels were high-quality. The addition of shelves would greatly improve the bathroom for guests who prefer not to put their toothbrush and other necessary toiletry items on the top of the toilet tank (yuck!) or precarious edge of the sink. A box of Kleenex would be nice, too.Lighting by lamps throughout was soft and low. The burned out overhead light in the sunroom rendered the dining table unusable at night.Overall, a very nice stay.
