We had a wonderful stay! Erly was a great host, and the home had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Not a lot of seating for dining or relaxing for a 4 bedroom 8 rental !

RENTERS BEWARE!!!Unfortunately, this property was not as advertised, and our experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, there was a very strong odor of fresh paint in the living room that made it uncomfortable to stay in the home.Each bedroom had someones name on the door (which was super odd in itself) and was secured with its own lock code; however, we were never provided with the codes at check-in, so we could not access the bedrooms. The listing also advertised air conditioning, but we did not see any AC in the main living areas. When I contacted the host, I was told that the air conditioning units were located inside the bedrooms—which, again, we could not access because we had not been given the door codes.The property is also located near a very busy intersection, and the surrounding area was not what we expected based on the listing. No parking nearby. Between the strong paint odor, inability to access the bedrooms, lack of accessible air conditioning, and concerns about the location, we did not feel comfortable staying. We were at the property for less than 30 minutes before leaving and checking into a hotel instead.I contacted the host and requested a refund due to these issues, particularly because of the strong paint fumes and the fact that we were unable to properly access and use the property as advertised. Unfortunately, the refund was denied.I would strongly recommend that future renters ask detailed questions about bedroo

We deeply regret that your arrival experience did not meet your expectations. The property’s layout, features, and amenities correspond to the information published in its Vrbo listing. The bedroom access codes were provided through the platform’s messaging system in response to your request, as documented in the reservation record. Regarding the reported odor, the property was fully renovated in March 2026, and no painting work has been performed since that renovation. Accordingly, we have no information or evidence confirming the presence of fresh paint at the property during your stay. As to the location, the home is situated on a short block containing only four properties, adjacent to a large school and across from another educational facility. The stay occurred during the school vacation period. While we understand that perceptions of traffic and the surrounding area may vary, the description of a heavily trafficked street does not align with the conditions observed during those dates. We nevertheless respect your personal impression. Before your arrival, the property was thoroughly cleaned and carefully prepared to receive the entire family group. The home also has exterior security measures around its perimeter. Parking is available on nearby public streets, subject to availability and posted municipal regulations. We remain committed to accurately presenting the property, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and preparation, and providing every guest with an experience consistent with the information published on Vrbo.

Easy check-in, spotless house, and close to the NY train. Erly is very friendly and responsive. We asked for extra towels, and he had the cleaning crew deliver them.
