The Space:

Secluded, quiet, and stunning, this luxurious log cabin in the North Georgia woods is the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts. This place borders the National Forest filled with nature trails where you can spot wildlife and enjoy the green, lush beauty of it all. You can also float on the river, fish, and play outdoor sports on this property which boasts three acres of space.



Inside you'll find a bright, breathtaking interior, fully wooden and rustic, but modern and lovely. A wall-mounted TV is in the living area with plenty of comfortable seating, so sit and host a movie night to make fun memories. Curl up with a good book or great conversation next to the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. Cook up a fantastic meal in the kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and all the cupboard room you could ever want. Dine al fresco on the covered porch, observing the unbeatable Georgia sunset. The cozy bedrooms promote restfulness, and the bathrooms with walk-in showers are pristine. Chalk up some friendly competition with the ping pong table, croquet, or checkers, then tell ghost stories around the firepit and watch the stars come out and dot the sky.

Beautiful spot for some peace and quiet

The house is lovely and the land is so nice. We enjoyed the fire pit and the big yard to run around in. The house is not far from the Toccoa River with gem mining and floating nearby.

Winter retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and relaxing and not far from town. Would definitely love to stay again!

Beautiful location and everything was as expected. We would stay here again. We had to work a little during our stay and the internet was very reliable.

We loved our stay. The cabin is spacious but still has a cozy cabin interior. We especially enjoyed the ping pong and darts and relaxing in the hot tub.

Great Weekend Getaway!

We really enjoyed our weekend at Bearfoot Bend. The location is super convenient to downtown and the marina. There are a couple dining options less than a mile away, which was great. Very private setting with a nice open field for the kids and dog to play in. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome place to stay! Very quiet, beautiful and peaceful. Our family had fun grilling, making s'mores, playing in the gameroom and seeing all the wildlife. We will be back for sure. Great family getaway!

Cozy cabin

We had the best time in this cozy cabin! It was very clean and came with everything you needed for a weekend away. The land was beautiful. We loved sitting out by the fire pit at night. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends.

Cozy Secluded Cabin Beautifully Decorated

Enjoyed the solitude, peace and quiet, tucked away off of Aska Road. Loved hiking the Chattahoochee National Forest, Trout Fishing in the Toccoa (walking distance from cabin), a competitive game of ping pong, a lazy dip in the hot tub, and most of all a long nap on the porch bed swing. Cabin had everything we needed for a R&R getaway!

Great place!

Family, dogs and I had a great time. We really enjoyed the ping pong and dart board. The dogs loved the screen porch. If you have never had well water before the smell can be off putting however it did not diminish our stay. We came prepared with ice and bottle water. We would definitely stay again!

Thanksgiving Road trip

Our first time traveling with our two year old lab. Lots of hikes nearby for the kids. Easy trip into the downtown too. Convenient little general store right down the road. Our dog and kids absolutely loved the yard and exploring the outside space. Saw lots of deer!

The view is beautiful

The area is beautiful and so peaceful but definitely the house needs to be clean and the water smells very bad There were also lots of spiderwebs in all the rooms .

Christmas Vacay

Upon arrival we received the code to be able to enter the property but came to found out the cleaners had not arrived so instead of being able to get in at 3-4 we had to wait until 6, with a complete loaded down car 4 kids and a dog.

Nice cabin in the woods

Comfortable and well kept property, beautiful forest enviroment. The only issue was the strong sulphur smelling water in the kitchen zinc and bathrooms. No dishwater available. Good internet available. Nice jacuzzi which was already turned on for our arrival. In general an excellent cabin if you dont mind the stinky sulphur smell.

Charming cabin

The living room and the screened-in porch attached to it were our favorite hangout spots! The ping pong table was also a big hit. Perfect size for our group of 6. The one extreme downside for us was the sulphur smell to the water because we just aren’t used to water with odor. The creaking of the cabin floors drove my husband batty but I didn’t mind too much as that’s what older cabins do! It’s part of the charm and experience! We saw a ton of deer… beautiful to watch from the porch.

Just "Okay"

My husband and I enjoyed watching the deer and turkeys each morning and evening. There are several downsides to this property. First one being I don't recommend anyone that's a light sleeper to sleep in the main level bedroom without ear plugs or taking sleeping medication. The insulation/sound proofing in this cabin is non-existant between the floors of each level and you can hear everything... especially the loud banging noise coming from the bottom level that occured every 20 seconds and never ceased to exist. Also, the hot tub has not been properly cleaned in quite some time and the jets, walls, and filter were caked in yellow algae/skum.

Christmas Getaway

The aesthetic of this cabin is warm and cozy and in a beautiful remote location. The kitchen is fully stocked and pretty much anything you'd need to cook or bake. Love the porch swing and the outdoor area which expands the square footage of the place. That being said, there are a few challenges with this property. There are micro climates within the cabin that are extreme. When it's finally warm on the main level, the upstairs is unbearably hot even when the windows were opened. The daybed upstairs could not be used due to the heat level. The floors between all levels are inexpensively made and you can hear every word spoken by anyone between floors. Go into the closet upstairs and you can even see through the floor to the downstairs bedroom. There is no privacy and you can only go to sleep when EVERYONE goes to sleep due to the noise level. Getaways and mini vacations are a time to rest and often catch up on sleep. The mattresses need upgrading and the main floor bedroom has a cut out piece of foam on top that is covered only by a sheet making it less than sanitary. The upstairs bedroom has a pad as well that moves around and has to be adjusted along with a slope in the mattress pushing everyone into the middle. We all left pretty sleep deprived. A few adjustments would elevate the experience of this property.
