Guest Access:

Guests at Maui Kai enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool and hot tub, with an elevator and disabled parking spot for easy access throughout the resort. The beachfront setting in Kaanapali puts the sand and sunset views just outside, and a private lanai makes for easy relaxing between beach days.



The Neighborhood:

Honokowai is a useful Northwest Maui base for mixing beach time with local convenience. Honokowai Beach Park is less than a mile away, while Napili and Kapalua are within reach to the north for sheltered coves and a different pace. Head south to Kaanapali Beach for a broader stretch of sand, beach walk, shopping, and dinner. The area suits travelers who want to explore West Maui but enjoy returning to a quieter coastline and an oceanfront outlook.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away along Maui's west side coastline. A rental car is recommended for exploring beaches, shopping, and dining along the coast. The Kaanapali Beach Walk connects nearby resorts, beaches, shops, and restaurants, while Whalers Village is a short drive away. Parking is typically available in lots, though it can fill up.
