Awesome location, with so much room! The house was well furnished with cooking utensils and cookware, we had extra beds due to the convenient loft, and the golf cart was perfect. The Host even got us in a few hours early! You can take the cart to the Mall, grocery store, beach, and boardwalk. It was so nice not having to load up in the car for quick runs to the store. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Family beach get away

Quick trip with family to the beach-great location, loved having the golf cart-might add a mattress topper to the master bed(not very comfortable) but it was a great place to stay!

We appreciate the suggestion, and will take that under advisement, but we are so glad to hear that you guys had a splendid vacation in this absolutely stunning community. Very close to the beach, and pools, made even easier by way of the golf cart! Thank you for choosing BeachWalk Vacations!

I can not say enough about this place. Although it was not on the beach it was super easy to get there on the golf cart. It’s set up like a 4 bedroom and was perfect for our family of 8 that went. Plenty of room perfectly setup and all the beds were comfortable. There were turtles in the creek behind the house (loved strawberries) the wharf

This is a very nice property, very close to the harbor, and other great activities this area has to offer! There is not any mold in this home, and the golf cart is a huge hit down here, our very nice carts rarely have issues, but when they do our team is very efficient and quick to respond to fix the occasional minor issue. Thank you for choosing BeachWalk Vacations!

No internet connection when we checked in so also no tv and bad mobile service. After complaining to property they first told us the internet provider could not come out to fix it until the next day...so we waited and then they said they could not come out until when we would be checking out ( 5 days later). We said that was not acceptable, but they refused to move us to another unit. So they finally said they could provide us with another Hotspot later that day after we suggested it, and it also barely worked for the rst of our stay. There was lot of wear and tear in yhe unit... a huge hole in the wall by the steps landing at top floor, the landing was wobbly and loose, stains on living room chairs & sofa. Cleaning at check in was not very thorough (the rug was not fully vaccumed) toilet downstairs runs constantly, blender was leaking ( looks like its missing a part), toaster is missing the lever and had a wire sticking out so was not useable, the landing (where the big hole is) was loose or wigg one of the dining room chair legs is wobbly, refrigerator door rubber strip was torn so did not close properly. The only good things were water pressure was good and unit was overall spacious but would never recommend this unit to anyone and will never rent again from the property management company: BeachWalk Vacations.

While we completely agree that this property is very nice, and in one of the most sought after communities on the Emerald Coast, we are disappointed to hear you did not feel welcomed. We send out a welcome message to all of our guests before arrival, and make it very easy and well known how to best get a hold of our team! We would love to welcome you back and extend the same welcoming presence many of our guests have experienced with us.

September Get Away

We throughly enjoyed our visit. The condo was beautiful, with the exception of both the front and back door blinds desperately needing replacement. The pull out couch also had a big tear but did not change our opinion of the condo. The golf cart was a nice perk as were the bikes and many water toys. The condo was exceptionally clean, well supplied with bath linens but could have used another kitchen towel or two. Thank you for a wonderful, we will definitely be back!

Great Location

The location of this property is great and to have a golf cart with bikes really helped our big group. The only downfall were the things that needed to be fixed around the house. We travel and stay at a lot of properties and this one needs a little work. Other than that we had a great time. The Beachwalk Property did step up when we had an issue with the air conditioner, they had someone out to fix within about 2 hours and it did get fixed.

We are glad you enjoyed the property and the golf cart as well! It is something we will continue to provide for our guests. We have a team dedicated to improving our properties and will always be on the lookout for little things that can be improved and this property has already made some awesome changes! While HVAC issues are common here in Florida, we will always do our best to get someone out as soon as possible. We are thankful for your patience and glad it was handled quickly! We hope you choose BeachWalk Vacations for your next vacation and will continue to provide excellent service!

Sandestin

Sandestin is a awesome experience. Carting around the property was great, restaurants, golf courses, shopping etc was so entertaining. Only problem with condo was the lack of a few trivial items such as salt and pepper, no propane for grill, coffee filters for coffee maker and the TP paper was lacking any substance. 3 way lights fixtures are all wired wrong. needs some updating. Overall, was a great experience.

Home away from home

Always love staying in Villa Lago. Clean and beautiful. Golf carts are a must for us. Even a deal breaker. If there isn’t golf carts included with the rental we skip over the site. It was disheartening to learn that they wanted to do a service call on one of the carts during our stay but it got changed or cancelled. So I was happy because you cannot bring or rent them. They do not allow outside carts into the communities.

Destin Softball Trip

The house was very comfortable. Clean, everything easily accessible. We loved taking the golf cart down to the activities at the Warf. We only went 1 day to the public beach access. It was nice to be able to ride the golf cart down there, but is was way to crowded for our liking. Besides that the house was nice. Describes just like the listing. We did have trouble with the washing machine and had to go to a laundra mat to wash all week. We had constant communication with the rental company, who were responsive. They had to order a part so it was kinda a hassle deal with, especially since we had to wash uniforms durning the week for the tournament. We would stay again 👍

The location was great. We have rented several in the same section and loved it. This particular listing was just not maintained for the cost of the condo. I’m not sure if it’s mainly just issues with the management company or the upkeep of the condo. 1. The condo was not cleaned well outside of the basic cleaning. Drink splatters all over the wall and food stuck to dishes and pots was an issue. 2. Cable was not working. I’m assuming due to it being disconnected from not paying. 2 TVs were not smart TVs so that’s not helpful when you don’t have cable. Contacted management, it took 2 days after empty promises to get it restored. 3. Bikes were broken. 2 of the bikes are unridable. Management said they’d come fix but didn’t. 4. Overall, it was just not kept up. Carpet is pulling up, cabinets are worn, kitchen table was drawn on, screw were exposed on the walls. It just needs some love.

It was just ok.

We arrived on a Monday. Our stay was for 7 days. Tuesday we went to wash a load of the towels and the washing machine was off balance very badly. We alerted Beach Walk Vacation immediately. They text back saying they had spoken with the property manager and that the washer was broken. They said they could provide us with a wash and fold service for the duration of our stay if we'd like. It was a huge inconvenience for us with our family to not be able to wash clothes. We had two small children whose clothes we could not have anyone launder do to allergies. We only use a certain detergent for them. Plus, our personal clothes I didn't feel comfortable sending them off with a company and not knowing if we'd get them back. As it was, we agreed to have them launder the towels, and wash cloths at least. They brought us a good supply but never came back to pick up the dirty laundry even though we were told they worked till 5pm. No one came. So we had to hang our towels and reuse them. Not happy in the least about that. The golf cart and bikes were a blessing. I do feel the pool near our unit was not properly maintained. It was hot water, lots of leaves from nearby trees everyday, and not clean. Wasn't refreshing at all. This stay was certainly different than our stay back in 2022. We did however book through the resort and not a VRBO or Beach Walk. Not sure if that made the difference or not. Next time, we will stay elsewhere!

Fantastic house. I have stayed at many houses in Sandestin resort previously, but decided to try this one. I was a little worried about how close each house was to each other, but it totally felt as if we were all alone once we were in the house. The back of the house abuts a venetian-like canal that made it feel secluded but full of nature. Bikes were worn out and only 2/5 were usable, but this was reported to the management company. Golf cart was amazing and a huge plus for sandestin. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Stay

We have stayed at many rentals on this property, however Villa Lago is by far our best experience. The pictures do not do justice as to how nice this house truly is. We had a great time just being on property, which included many amazing restaurants and things to do for the kids. I would recommend this rental for anyone who wants the absolute very best experience in Destin.

Beach house vacations is hard to contact.

The house had some damages. The review for the property said we could be charged with said damages if they weren’t reported. There was no one to contact for said damages. Even when I emailed, called and messaged via the Vrbo app. We forgot some belongings and there was no one to contact for that either! For having such strict policies, why is there no one to contact for any of this??
