WATERFRONT! Elephant Huset er en unik og hyggelig havnefront ø tilbagetog! Dekoreret med elefanter overalt og tilbyder vidunderlige Spieden Channel ser det er ingen tvivl om, et sted for nydelse og afslapning. Beliggende omkring en kilometer fra Roche Harbour, er dette tilbagetog praktisk til mange faciliteter, herunder shopping, restauranter og natteliv aktiviteter, hvis du ønsker det. Nyd vandreture, cykelture eller starte små både eller kajakker fra fællesskabet stranden ved landtangen. Forkæl dig i de forskellige dyrearter som fugle, ørne, sæler, hvaler, hjorte og ræv, der befinder sig i området omkring dette hjem.

Indkvartering omfatter en master hems møbleret med en king-size seng og en mødet område, der ser ud et billede vindue til vandet. Det andet værelse ligger på hovedplan og er indrettet med en ny king size seng også.

We saw a humpback whale, a pod of orcas, seals, deer, and bald eagles from the deck. The house itself was the cleanest we have stayed in. And so many thoughtful touches for the guests. The management company was very communicative and responsive. 10 out of 10!! HIGHLY recommend!!

Perfect getaway for two

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I spent 2 nights in the Elephant House. This was our first time to San Juan Island and we will certainly be back. We loved the location of the cabin which is on the north end of the island, about 20 minutes from everything Friday Harbor has to offer. This was OK for us because we wanted to feel secluded and be able to have the privacy and view that the cabin offers. We spent hours on the deck enjoying the peacefulness of the area and taking in the view. Roche Harbor is only minutes away so we grabbed some food and wine from the general store when we needed it. The cabin is very cozy and we wish the couch was a bit larger but other than that it was as expected and met our needs perfectly.

Peaceful

We love Roach Harbor after years of visiting on our sailboat. After moving to Tennessee we no long have the sailboat this stay was even better. Great views and with a peacefulness you cant get at the marina. Close enough for morning donut runs and evening colors iykuk.

Nice relaxing get away

The house is comfortable and well appointed. The view of the water was breathtaking and we got to see a pod of orcas as well as local deer grazing in the yard. It was a lovely break from the routine.

Relaxing Getaway

The house is exactly as advertised and was very comfortable and relaxing. The view is phenomenal and property was perfect with a nice deck and cozy fire pit. The lower bedroom remained very quiet and dark and the bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was not staying longer. Thank you for a wonderful few nights!

Great spot with nice deck, clean but with an off scent. Not bad just off. Stairs to loft are super small and steep so not a good idea to go up if you’ve been drinking lol. Other than that, a cool spot with a beautiful view.

Perfect place to celebrate our Anniversary!

My husband and I returned to San Juan Island for for our 10-year wedding anniversary. Perfect place for us! Check in was seamless, place was as advertised, easy parking, kitchen was well appointed. We saw Orcas, harbor seals, a fox, and a deer/fawn right from the deck. Will return!

Beautiful location and nice well kept home. Living room furniture and stairs difficult to manage if you have orthopedic issues. Deck was lovely highlight of the house.

Loved this little cabin and the view was amazing! We had a cute little harbor seal that would pop up in the mornings and an eagle family that liked to fly by. Only negatives were the one bathroom is really small and there isn’t a second bedroom, just a loft with a bed up a very steep staircase. For my 12 year old it was fine but it would be very challenging for anyone too old or too young. I slid down a few times. Haha. But I would still stay here again. Very clean and super cute! And the loaner binoculars were a nice touch.

Cute and cozy!

My husband and I stayed here for a week to celebrate our 25th anniversary. It was perfect for the two of us. It had everything that we needed. Walking distance to Roche Harbor (1.5 miles) for breakfast and not too long of a drive to anywhere on the island. While we weren't lucky enough to see any whales from the house, we did two different tours from Friday Harbor and saw orcas both times. You won't regret renting this cute and cozy cabin!

We were blessed to see Orcas twice from the deck and a tiny baby fawn with its mother. My favorite part of staying in Friday Harbor was returning to the cabin for relaxation on the deck and firepit area while watching the boats go up and down the channel. We can't wait to book it again. We are now officially spoiled from staying here and don't want to stay anywhere else:) We loved the location and its proximity to the beautiful Roche Harbor.

Two minor downsides: I called the office in advance with a question and never got a return phone call and we never could find a dust pan so we had to sweep the fir needles out the door as best we could. Otherwise, very clean and comfortable and we loved the view.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you did not get a reply. Our office is open 7 days per week and we are very diligent about returning calls. Cleaning supplies are provided in all of our properties so I'm not sure why you were not able to find the dustpan. Nonetheless, I'm thrilled you enjoyed your time on the island and we hope to host you again.
