Wonder place to stay!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we'll be staying there again. The home is absolutely comfortable and inviting the location is just perfect for a long weekend and all the amenities are fabulous including the hot tub and the private doc

Good to know you enjoyed all the extra special items we have at the Lakehouse. We are always updating and adding new items. The hot tub on the deck is the best part for many guests as you can enjoy a nice evening under the stars. Come back again!

Very nice property that housed our family for a great weekend on the lake. Nice to have a dock to put our boat close by while not on the water. Host were very kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend this property.

Thank you for staying at Powell Lakehouse over Mother’s Day weekend. We are glad you enjoyed all the outdoor amenities and had a wonderful time with your family. Next time, when you come, you can pack even less! Now you see all of the items we have above and beyond other vacation home properties. We believe that when you check in, you shouldn’t have to run out and go grab supplies and stock little items such as plenty of toilet paper, soaps, spices, baggies, and even have plenty of firewood. We are happy you were able to invite your extended family at the last minute to your vacation! We are always happy to accommodate early check-ins when we can and it seemed to work out well with your parents arriving several hours prior to your arrival. Thank you for the great communication so we could address your issues immediately. Apologies again about the electric issues in the bedroom on your first night. At times there are issues out of our control and I am glad we were able to get an electrician there by 1pm after speaking with you. Glad you enjoyed your birthday cake we left. It is always fun to leave our guests something in the house, especially if they are celebrating a special occasion. -John & Kim Powell

Romantic Anniversary Getaway

What a wonderful way to spend our anniversary. We can not wait to come back for another getaway, fishing from the dock and relaxing in the hot tub enjoying the peaceful lake was just what we needed. The Powell’s were wonderful.

Kim and John are the best hosts. The property is perfect for relaxing and fishing! We enjoyed it very much and we will be back! PS...the house is flat comfy!

This is the spot if you to relax...

Clean, quiet and cozy says it all. Highly recommend for just decompressing or some family fun on the water. Hosts are a first class couple that are readily available if there is anything needed.

Beautiful views with all the comforts of home

Our stay at the Powell Lakehouse was exactly what I had wanted - clean, plenty of water activities, beautiful views, places to relax and enjoy the views, with no need to leave. Their home had many nice, little extras as well and the owners were friendly and professional. We look forward to our next visit!

The property was clean, comfortable, and had all of the amenities. The owner was helpful and great to work with. We also loved being right on the lake with an awesome deck and doc.

Glad you enjoyed your stay and we made it work to side tie your fishing boat to the dock for the week. The water is not as rough during the middle of the week, but as you know the weekends can get a bit rocky. Come back and see us again soon!

Wonderful place for a getaway

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and the property was very clean and had nearly all the necessary amenities. The fireplace worked nicely, the kitchen was very usable and the living areas were comfortable with a great view of the lake. The highlight was the hot tub that we used to soak under the stars, and in the middle of winter. I can't recommend this place enough.

Fun times at the lake!!

We loved the dock being able to walk directly from the house to the dock. We fished and paddled boarded around. The hot tub was awesome. Basically we were outside and in water from the lake to the outdoor shower. We also visited haha tonka state park for a hike, checked out the castle. Great time!

Stayed here with my husband for several nights

This property is gorgeous! The lake view is stunning! The hot tub was my favorite part. Extremely peaceful and private on the deck. The house was beautiful and clean. The owners made sure the check in process was seamless and were there for any questions. I highly recommend!

Great lake getaway

The owners have thought of everything. There's a hot tub, fire pit, very nice dock and comfortable furniture on the deck and dock. You can lounge in the sun or the shade on the dock. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you want to prepare your own meals. It is a great private getaway.

Last second vacation

We booked this last second for a five day vacation and it exceeded our expectations. The place was right on the water with anything you could think of. It was very clean, very orderly, with detailed instructions. The hosts were great at communicating with us and answering any questions we had in a timely manner. Would love to go back and stay there again some day.

Cozy and peaceful place to spend the holidays. Perfectly set up for a family of 3-5.

The cabin was clean and tastefully decorated. It has a beautiful view of the lake and in winter is peaceful and quiet. All the furniture was comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The owners were very helpful as well when we needed stuff. Our kid lived the Wii and we enjoyed watching the lake, sitting by the fire, and reading our books. We really enjoyed our time here and could definitely imagine coming back!

Lake house has it all!

My wife and I stayed at the Powell house and it checked off all the boxes: immediate access to water, hot tub, outdoor grill, fire pit, very comfortable bed, and even spa robes. The living room has a very comfy couch and reclining chair, and when we weren't lounging and reading outside, we did so here in complete view of the lake. We would return in a heartbeat, and recommend this property for anyone wanting a relaxing lake experience.
