Villa Ianthi belongs to a complex of 4 traditional Villas located at the peaceful and beautiful village of Makriotika. Only 5 km away from the picturesque port of Agia Efimia and famous Myrtos beach, villa Ianthi is an ideal base to explore the island.

The villa comprises of 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dinning table and a spacious sitting room. There is a terrace with outside relaxing sofas at the 1st floor enjoying magnificent mountain views as well as outside dinning area in the ground floor. The pool is in a green beautiful garden surrounded by colorful mediterranean plants where you can relax at the sun beds or enjoy a barbeque.

The location is beautiful, relaxing and quite, at the heart of the island, close to the top sights as well as the picturesque fishing port of Agia Efimia offering all amenities and just 5km from famous Myrtos beach.

First class accomodation in ideal location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in kefalonia. The vill was superb and as described and could not be faulted. A great location with excellent Tavernas in walking distance. Central to the best part of the island.

Great house for a family. Location was very nice, central to a lot of nearby beaches and villages, like Myrtos, Assos, also not too far from Fiskardo. We liked the small village, but you will need to drive to a beach. The little taverna in the village was great, and there are tons more really good ones in Agia Effemia and near Myrtos.Communication was great, and we had a host representative greet us on check-in and checkout.

Amazing, authentic stay!

A lovely stay for our family of four! Great condition, and property manager was very attentive if we needed anything. The cluster of close but independent villas was very authentic -- brought back memories of visiting Greek family as a kid. We even had the pleasure of crossing paths with the owner when they were staying next door -- they were warm and welcoming, although we still had plenty of privacy in our villa as well. Nice location -- a quiet village spot, but still had a few very nice restaurants in walking distance. Centrally located for easy drive to some of the best north-island sites.

Ideal family villa

We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. The property is only a few years old and is in very good condition. It's very spacious for a family of four, with good sized bedrooms, plenty of living space and a lovely terrace and upstairs balcony. The pool is a reasonable size and also in very good condition, and was kept very clean. The villa is well equipped with everything you might need. Anna, who manages the property, is delightful, and very helpful with recommendations. The location is great, with a couple of tavernas within walking distance, and a short drive to lovely beaches. Overall, a great plce to stay in Kefalonia.

Wonderful Villa

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Villa. The villa is spacious inside & out & has everything you need. We loved the outdoor space & pool & the trees around the pool were great for shade in the heat of the day. The upper terrace was fab for relaxed socialising with a view up to the local village & hills. The villa had everything we needed & was spotlessly clean and the location ideal for myrtos beach & other lesser known beaches - we went to a different one every day! There are two close by tavernas which you can walk to & are very reasonably priced with good food. We would so recommend this lovely villa - perfect for a family of 4.

Outstanding

The Villa was amazing and serviced our needs very well. We went out for my sisters wedding with 2 small children and they loved it. It was ideally located in a quiet and safe area just outside Agia Effemia. Was well equipped, well decorated and very clean

We're coming back here!

We stayed in this villa for a month. And first thing all my family members said when we arrived here:"Lets' book it for the next year!It's fantastic!" and actually we decided not to wait till next year, but booked it again for September ;) The location is perfect. All the best beaches of Keafolinia are maximum 30 minutes drive. And this part of Kefalonia is the most less touristic, so most of the time you enjoy uncrowded nature. Agia Efimia, the closest town, has many tavernas and nice for evening walks. But we enjoyed the best family taverna just a 5 min walk uphill from the villa, at the Makriotika village square – with the best food and view. The villa has everything your need, it's very modern and from verandas your enjoy a beautiful view to the surrounding mountains. The hosts are fabulous. When we arrived, our fridge was filled with the local delicacies and wine. Anna was very helpful, and the best beaches and tavernas we learned from her. Highly recommended!!!!! We stayed with a 3 y.o son and our parents, and all enjoyed the stay to the fullest.
