I like the location because it is walkable from the Metro and from Montmartre. There is a great choice of dining options. The room had all the amenities I needed. Overall I had a pleasant stay.

Smaller than it’s seems. No AC but finally ok for us because the heat wave was finishing. No vault -available. The bed was the only place comfortable in the studio.

The smell from humidity and fowlness was really bad, and there was no greenery at all in the yard. It also could be cleaner and better equipped. And the wlan Did Not Work. Location is great, Information befire how to access was great- the stairs to the bedroom are not for elderly or insecure people as they are very narrow!

My Week In Paris

Yes, as you will read from other reviews, the apartment is small, but unless you are staying a very long time in Paris and need living accommodations then yes, I can see it being an issue. If you are on vacation however, the the apartment is just perfect for your return home from sightseeing and relaxing before starting the next day of visiting the beautiful city that is Paris. Host was very responsive and helpful.

This is France so please do not expect any space. Mr Pierre responded in timely manner to the messages via vro. The phone number he provided is not working and I understood that it’s just for show so please don’t bother to call that phone number. The area is safe.Please pay attention to details below. 1- washer and dryer are combined (2in 1). 2- If The internet is not working, please turn off and on the router upstairs for this to work. 3-You have to manually turn on the hot water tank otherwise you will not have hot water. After figuring things out we had a good stay. Basilica sacre Coeur is 10min walking distance. 5 min walking to City bus station and route 80 will take you straight to Eiffel Tower. 7 min walking distance to bus station route 31 to gare de L’Est and Arc de Triumph. The area is very quiet and convenient

A delightful stay in Montmatre!

Although the apartment was petite and I felt like Snow White when she moved in with the dwarfs. . .it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay only a 2 minute walk from Sacre Coeur! It was the first week of December and very chilly in the romantic city of Paris but the wee apartment had heating and the apartment was toasty warm and cosy. Mostly we ate out as there are so many restaurants close by but several meals we cooked in the apartment and all necessary equipment was supplied. We loved being in such a central location. Pierre was clear with instructions on how to enter the building and apartment and we had no difficulty.

Die Unterkunft war insgesamt nicht sauber, etliches kaputt, es wirkte recht lieblos. Das war aber nicht mal so schlimm. Schlimm waren die verschimmelten Wände und der feuchte Geruch.

Holiday stay

Beautiful neighbourhood and wonderful apartment to stay in. Only criticism is there were wet towels in the washing machine that began to smell. Honestly didn't mind given how lovely the host and area were. Highly recommend 👌

Abenteuer im Montmartre Viertel

Lage war einzigartig, habe mich wie eine Pariserin gefühlt....Rue Custine, wundervoll belebt, Restaurants, Blumenhändler, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke... Habe mit Vermieter kommuniziert wegen einem Wasserschaden....er ist auch gekommen.... Unterkunft winzig aber charmant..... Ein bisschen sauberer wäre schön gewesen aber......Ich fand es trotzdem klasse!!!!!

"charming" duplex......NOT

This place was not charming. I tried to contact Pierre at least 5 times via message on HomeAway. He finally responded the day before we arrived, however we did NOT get an early check in as I requested and we had to drag our luggage all over Paris on Sunday until we could check in. This was supposedly because someone was "cleaning". This apartment was NOT clean. The bed sheets were dirty, the bed was unmade, the towels and dishcloths were dirty. The refrigerator worked intermittantly. The plumbing was horrid, backing up into the shower. We tried to call HomeAway and they did NOTHING to help us except to try to contact the owner. He never did respond during our entire stay. I would never stay here again. It was the worst experience. I have used HomeAway many times in the past but I'm moving on to ANOTHER TRAVEL WEBSITE from now on. Terrible place.

Bel soggiorno, quartiere ben posizionato e ben servito dai mezzi, tranquillo perché lella location della casa fuori dal nugolo di turisti che ad agosto sono moltissimi! Accolte dalla signora delle pulizie gentilissima che ha fatto le veci del padrone di casa; supermarket bio con alternative vegane in zona; ci si sposta sia con metro sia con bus, che sono frequenti entrambe e funzionano bene; quasi tutti parlano inglese quindi abbastanza facile comunicare; se siete vegani non è la ‘città perfetta’ ma siamo riuscite sia con la soesa sia fuori casa senza spendere troppo, stante Parigi sia abbastanza costosa... atmosfera che consiglio nonostante il caldo, che nel piccolo studio invece non si sente affatto ed e meraviglioso

Nice stay in Paris

We enjoyed our holiday in Pierre's apartment, we spent 6 nights in June. The apartment is very functional, everything you need, including a washing/drying machine is available. Apartment building was very quiet. Location is excellent, in the middle of Montmartre area with park-like streets and plenty of nice restaurants. Several stores within a short distance from the apartment. Metro station is within 5 minutes walk. We plan to use the apartment again in the future.

Perfect apartment in Montmartre

Wonderful neighborhood and apartment. Nice decor, clean and well supplied. The owner was prompt in his responses and had excellent directions. Highly recommend this apartment if you are small in stature as it is quite petite.

Great place to stay in Paris!

This apartment was completely satisfactory; clean, cozy and we felt safe in the building despite the somewhat dodgy looking streets we walked up to get there. The area was very convenient with several nice restaurants, shops and the metro line within walking distance. There was the usual intermittent apartment building noise, but nothing that kept us up at night and the bed was comfy. The apartment is small, which is to be expected in Paris, but my husband and I who are under 5’ 5” and relatively thin, felt it was actually quite spacious for the most part. The bedroom area was much larger than it looks in the photos and had a big window to let fresh air in. The only bits I feel a larger framed person might want to take note of would be the narrow spiral staircase to get up to the bedroom area and the shower. The shower was exceptionally small, I am thin and only 5’ 2” and I found myself banging my elbows on the glass while washing my hair so I can’t imagine a larger person being able to shower comfortably. Aside from those two possible sticking points for larger people, the apartment was wonderful and had everything we needed in terms of cutlery, dishes, pans etc. We do wish the owner had left an extra towel or two, or at least a hand towel and face cloth, but we always pack an extra towel just in case. Also note, you will be expected to clean the apartment upon your departure since the owner doesn’t charge a cleaning fee. I was unaware of this until after I had booked, and while it wasn’t what I expected to be doing the last evening of my honeymoon lol, it was no big deal to us and the owner provided everything to make tidying up a breeze. It is however something that could factor into another traveler’s decision. All in all we would definitely stay here again, and would recommend the apartment to other travelers.

Très joli petit duplex à deux pas du Sacré Cœur

Cet appartement, bien que petit, est très fonctionnel (aucune place n'est perdue). Il est très bien équipé (Nespresso, télé écran plat, box internet...), décoré avec goût et très moderne. Petit plus , il est à deux pas du Sacré Cœur et du métro. À recommander sans problème
