Great stay!

We chose this villa because our son was playing in a collegiate golf tournament in the resort. It was perfect as it was super close to course and hotel where he was staying. Very comfortable and loved the pool-very quiet and relaxing. Host was super responsive and accommodating.

Owner was most attentive to our needs and comfort. Check in and check out was easy and smooth. Proximity to pool and beach was great. Accessibility was a bit hard for a couple of us (no elevator).

Nice location

This is our second year to stay in the area for a college golf tournament. We stayed at the resort last year but knew we needed more space. It was nice to have a kitchen and 2 full bathrooms. We didn’t use the pool because we spent most of our time on the course or at the resort pool with the rest of the team. They allowed us to park in their lot for free if we provided a dinner or bar receipt. Lots of great restaurants in the area. The hostess was great at providing suggestions and checking on us. We have already recommended this site to our friends and will look to stay again next year when we return for the golf tournament.

Wonderful location

We had a wonderful time. My mother in law stayed with us last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The kitchen had just what we needed. The store was nearby so we were able to do some easy food shopping to avoid excessive spending eating out. The check in and check out process was super easy. No fuss at all. The location is really safe and the people were incredibly helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

Upon arrival unit was at 94 degrees and A/C had difficulty in getting down to 70's until late next day.Musty smell throught unit and severe ant problem.

Amazing villa and great host

We had such a fun stay at this villa. It was clean and spacious and the kitchen had all the necessary amenities we needed to cook when we decided to eat in. The property is walking distance to a few pools, restaurants, and a hotel restaurant for more upscale dining. Elaine was a fantastic host and easy to communicate with. She went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and allowed us use of the. Each club which was critical for entertaining our toddler. We will definitely strive to return!

Palmas De Mar Villa

Overall, the villa was poorly maintained. Toilet whistled loudly when refilling and after. (The water supply to it was turned off on arrival). Kitchen cabinet door was hanging askew. Kitchen had only one very dim light fixture on ceiling. Second bedroom had exposed plumbing outside of bathroom. There were numerous drywall problems on ceiling and walls. The pool and grounds were very nice though.

awesome property and hospitality!

Elaine was so helpful and communicative before and during our stay. She provided really thorough information about the rental and the surrounding property. It was seamless checking in and out of the gated community. Palmas del Mar is a lovely property with many amenities! The place overlooks the pool which was pretty and convenient. The place itself was super clean and well kept. She was very accommodating and this worked great for 3 adults and 2 kids. If you stay, definitely go to the restaurants in the Anchor Village section of the property - much better than the plaza options. Chez Daniel is very well done - excellent service and food. Best wine options too. Call for a reservation though! The beach on the property is pretty but difficult for swimming due to waves. I'd be extra careful though it is possible. It's hard to find other good beaches nearby - best bet is going to Vieques, Culebra or Luquillo beach. Plan on getting to the ferry landing early (90-120 minutes) to get tickets to Vieques or Culebra but it is so worth it. A great stay with a great owner! Thanks for the welcome champagne too!

Great spot for a family

Elaine was a wonderful person to work with. She was easy to reach and very timely with responses and had great information to share about the area. The property was great and as advertised. It was very well stocked and very clean. The property is quiet and easy to access. It worked very well for our family and would stay again when in Palmas.

Our stay at Elaine's property was awesome. We stayed there for 9 days. She was a great property owner ,always making sure we had what we needed ,at one point I told her I needed something and the next day she bought it and left it for us at the house. The property is beautiful. I already mentioned to her that I will like to stay at her property next time I go to P.R. Great place to stay and property manager. Too bad we had to leave.

Great place and outstanding host!

Great place to relax with a beautiful pool and garden view. Stocked with everything one might need including battery operated fans and lamps, in case of a blackout. Communication with Elaine was superb and thorough, she thought of everything! Even though this was a last minute booking it went smoothly from start to finish! Looking forward to next time! Thank you very much!

Great location. Very nice balcony facing a pool. The hostess always responded promptly and was very friendly. Bedroom was nice as well. Would definitely stay again. It's about a mile from the beach.

Love the fact that is located next to the pool. Quiet place for a relaxing vacation. The owners sent a lot of information for references like things to do, eat, etc. Easy check in/out. I will definitely return and recommend

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. Excellent location and amenities. Beautiful and well maintained apartment. Owner provides everything you need in a house for a nice and complete stay. Owner also provides an excellent guide of places to eat. I recommend it 100%!!!

Eight wonderful days

We so enjoyed our time in the lovely condo at Palmas del Mar although admittedly we spent most of our time on the large patio overlooking what we came to feel was our own private pool. Few people used it. The water was so clear and clean and we especially liked the very comfortable pool lounges. We usually had breakfast and lunch in the condo and in the evening sampled the various restaurants. There are several to choose from within this gated community. Elaine was wonderful! She provided us with so much information in advance re food and activities. And while we were there she was always available to answer questions and give advice when asked. There is shopping nearby and El Yunque, Luquillo Beach,excursions from Fajardo and other adventures are an easy drive away.

Great Short Stay

Needed a place to stay for a few days on the mainland of Puerto Rico after spending a week on Vieques . Elaine's condo was perfect. It was spacious and clean with a very comfortable King size bed with luxurious sheets. The air conditioning kept the condo cool and the washer and dryer were a bonus. No problems with electricity or internet. We enjoyed sitting at the covered balcony overlooking a small lake watching the turtles, fish and birds. Palmas del Mar is a well maintained complex and in great condition considering it took a direct hit from Hurricane Maria just a year ago. Elaine is a perfect host, lives locally and responsive to any needs. She is thoroughly knowledgeable about the area and can easily direct you to local restaurants and places to see in Palmas and the surrounding area. We really enjoyed the stay

We fell in love with the award winning Mediterranean architecture of the exterior, the spacious floor plan of the interior/balcony, and the top-floor corner views of the pool and relaxing water feature.

You would be hard pressed to find all of the amenities offered by the Palmas del Mar community in any other private, beach front community anywhere in the world! Here we have world- class tennis, golf, dining, yachting, and almost every other amenity you can think of, all on a private beach front setting. In Palmas del Mar, you really can have it all!
