Unfortunately, the sargassum you experienced is a seasonal occurrence that can affect beaches throughout Puerto Rico and the Caribbean during certain times of the year. As I mentioned in my welcome message upon your arrival, we experienced a recent surge shortly before your stay. While local crews continuously work to manage it and conditions often improve quickly depending on tides and weather patterns, I am sorry that it impacted your beach experience. It truly means a great deal to me that everything was as promised and that you and your family had such a wonderful stay at Villa Del Mar. I also appreciate your comments about the seaweed. Unfortunately, that's one thing we can't control—Mother Nature has her own plans. Like many Caribbean beaches, we've experienced more seaweed than usual over the past few weeks, and Puerto Rico's Department of Natural and Environmental Resources is actively working to clear the beaches. Fortunately, this is temporary, and most of the year the beach is absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water and a pristine shoreline. I personally visit both of my homes away from home every month to ensure everything is in perfect condition for my guests. In addition to Villa Del Mar, we also own Caribbean Oasis (VRBO #157760), located just one street away on Calle #2. It's a spacious 4,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style villa that many of our repeat guests enjoy when traveling with larger groups or when they're looking for a different vacation experience. I take great pride in both homes and strive to ensure every guest enjoys the same comfort, quality, and hospitality that my own family experiences when we visit.
