Tres Mares

The wonderful team at tres mares made our stay so perfect. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel so special. The accommodation was exceptional. Better than any 5 diamond hotel as it was best of both worlds. Luxurious facilities and service of a hotel with convenience of home having access to a kitchen and incredible layout of living space indoor and out!

A Little Bit of Heaven

This condo building has perhaps the best location possible in the marina district of Puerto Vallarta. The third-floor location allowed a magnificent view but not so high as to make the things at ground level seem miniature. The unit is large and modern, has great art on the walls, and both furniture and fixtures are in top condition. It exceeded our expectations. Property staff are friendly and very helpful.

Family Vacation

Everything was great with the exception of not having warm/hot water for showers and washing dishes. I called the property manager and was told the water heater was working properly but it was not big enough for the size of the condo. He suggested we run the water for 15 minutes before showering. I felt this was very wasteful but tried it once to see if it would make a difference but it did not. Otherwise, the condo was clean and comfortable, the community was safe and well maintained, the pool and beach were fabulous. The only downside was cold showers every day for a week!

Amazing property and grounds

Nothing but positive things to say for our stay in Tres Mares. The property is meticulously maintained, service staff about the place were VERY friendly and helpful. The unit itself is as represented in the photos and is spacious, well appointed, and clean. Our family of five all had their own spaces, and loved it immensely. We rented the unit for a week and had the doors open to the deck the entire time. The owner (Mark) was very responsive to questions, and was helpful in suggestions for local places to visit. Watching the cruise ships come and go was fun, you could almost reach out and touch them from the deck! We would stay at this property any time again in the future, and plan to!

Peaceful - gorgeous - perfect!

Tres Mares is a lovely resort & this condo is an ideal place to spend your stay in Puerto Vallarta. A couple of plusses - the pool is not overcrowded and is maintained at the perfect temperature. The poolside snack bar food is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! We could not have enjoyed ourselves more.

The Best of the Best!!

Tres Mares is the premier location to stay in Puerto Vallarta. Located very close to the airport on the Bay of Banderas in the Marina District. Many restaurants are located within easy walking distance, taxis are inexpensive and readily available, and for the more adventurous, the local city bus has an end of route turn around stop just outside the front gate. For 7.5 pesos you can easily travel to a Super Walmart, Sam's Club, or to the Malecon downtown while enjoying the local color. The unit itself was simply exceptional in all respects. The owner sent a driver to the airport to pick us up and transport us to our little bit of paradise. When we arrived, our private elevator took us directly to our front door where we were nearly overwhelmed by the gorgeous view. Room wide sliding glass doors opened to a polished wood decked lanai with a view of the pool, the ocean, and a closeup of cruise ships entering port that you felt you could almost reach out and touch. We appreciated the few things left behind by previous guests, and provided by the owner. Enough coffee to get started, as well as toweling, napkins, dishwasher and laundry soap, salt and pepper, and many of the other little odds and ends that would have had to be purchased otherwise. The unit was very clean and extremely well equipped. Bottom line: Bring your toothbrush and a change of clothes, and you are good to go!! Finally, If you want an oasis of peace and relaxation, sun bathe by a quiet pool, a midnight swim, a walk on the beach, or an easy walk to a good restaurant ---This is the place!! Mark, the owner, was very responsive to all communications, and always got back to us within an hour with answers to any questions we might have. If I could rate this unit more than 5 stars, I would do it gladly. It is the Best of the Best!! We will be back!!

A Mexican Paradise

Thank you so much for sharing your most beautiful home . Our two week stay was truly magnificent . The staff was beyond accommodating. The view from the balcony was awesome. That's one of the things that I miss mostly. Every morning sitting out there watching the boats in the bay was, as well as the cruise ships going by, so close. I loved it!!!!! Can't wait to go back. Perfectly located.

Exceptional!

Exceptional is the best word for our experience at Tres Mares. From the gorgeous accommodations, enormous pool, helpful staff, to the spectacular view, everything exceeded our expectations. Everything was easy, comfortable and convenient. A private elevator eliminated hassles with doors. Friendly staff served poolside snacks and meals when we spent evenings in the beautiful warm pool steps from the beach. Desk staff were always available to promptly call us a"big taxi" for our group of 6. We were perfectly located centrally on the Marina and made easy daytrips north to Salyulitas and Vallarta Adventures and south to downtown and the Malecon. The airport and groceries at Walmart were less than 10 minutes away by taxi. The place itself is elegantly appointed and designed with lively art and many comforts and conveniences. We enjoyed an outstanding week at Tres Mares - my only complaint is that it went too fast! Thank you!

Superb accomodation

For the past two winters, we have spent 10 weeks in this delightful and comfortable apartment The place is spacious, attractively furnished and well-appointed. Everything is in immaculate condition and just as shown in the promotional photos. The Tres Mares pool and grounds are first class and the gym and spa are of the highest standard. The Marina location allows for easy and pleasant walking as well as close access to good restaurants. services and stores. Old Town Puerto Vallarta (a must!) is only a 30 minute local bus ride away and taxis are plentiful and reasonable.
