My style when visiting Paris solo is to use moderately priced studios in non-tourist neighborhoods. My requirements are not much beyond a comfortable bed, small fridge, good shower (Roman style is not to everyone's taste, but it is what I have in my own home) and good WiFi. This met all these requirements, with an eclectic combo of tables and chairs rounding it out. I don't come to Paris for the furniture, so all this was just fine with me. The owner Eric maintained good communications, with my intermediate French smoothing the process. I would stay here again.

Nice location

Eric was very nice to accommodate all my family. Even with the language barrier we managed good. The place is small, but we only need it to sleep and shower.

clean place, great location, attentive host

Eric the host is people friendly and makes his guests feel comfortable. The unit is in a great location and only 5 minutes by foot to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. For the price, it's a terrific choice for anyone visiting Paris for a few days, best for 1 or 2 people, but can accommodate three. Next time we visit Paris we intend to stay with him.

Excellent

Eric is the most amazing host. He was waiting on us at our arrival, showed us the property, gave us the access keys with the best and polite way. Location is really good and quiet. Pictures show exactly what they have. We can cook and drink a good coffee. We really enjoy this time in Paris.

A perfect find!

The apartment was very clean and cute and it had everything we needed. The location is not in the heart of the city, but is very close to lots of public transportation, so its very easy to get around. Eric was very helpful and understanding when we had issues with travel and making adjustments and was overall very nice!

Excellent host

Eric was an excellent host, the apartment was very clean, I suggest you renovate it especially a change of furniture. After having reset the internet, it worked very well, we did not have any problems, in the neighborhood there are very good restaurants and artisan bakeries

Good neighborhood

The building and the apartment are old. The unit is clean, but much of it is run down. The shower is not separate from the rest of the bathroom, so everything gets wet. Quiet, safe neighborhood with grocery store and restaurants nearby. On the edge of Les Batignolles. Close to the bus and near enough to the metro. Cute balcony.

Perfect!

We loved everything about staying at this Vrbo apartment. It is clean, cute studio, with everything that we needed during our 6 day vacation. Eric was very kind and responded quickly to any questions we had. We especially loved being in a real neighborhood. Even when we'd get back later at night, neighborhood restaurants were still open and there are plenty of places to shop for food, etc. There is even a cool bookstore nearby. It's close to several metro stops, so it's very easy to get around Paris from there. Still, it's quiet and safe. We would definitely try to stay there whenever we get back to Paris.

Would recommend

Eric was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Our arrival into Paris was in the morning and he was very accommodating getting us into the apartment early. The apartment was small, but clean and had all we needed to make for an enjoyable stay. It is about 5-10 minute walk to 3 different metro stations as well as tram and RER station, very convenient. There were supplies of water and drinks already in the fridge. Grocery stores and restaurants within minutes of the building. We had to leave very early in the morning and we appreciated his effort to meet us in time for us to get to the airport. All in all, a nice place to stay when in Paris.

Location was great. Pictures on website are inaccurate. Bathroom was terrible. No extra blankets

Location was great but the apartment not so. Bath towels were like tea towels. Bathroom was really bad. Garden was overgrown not like in pics of the listing. Extra blankets are needed. Nice small apartment, good location

This is a small unit located next to plenty of transportation options. The owner was very courteous and patiently waited for us even when our flight was delayed. It was nice to have a small kitchen and washing machine, the small balcony was also a must for us. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet, and you can find many restaurants, pharmacies, boulangeries and groceries just a few steps away, which made our life much easier. On the other side, the beds and pillows were not the most comfortable I’ve slept. When showering you might need to use not much water pressure otherwise you’ll wet the entire bathroom. In my opinion, the accommodation works fine for a few days for a couple or small family, but I would recommend some improvements regarding the beds and cleanliness.

Never in my life have I experienced a property this terrible. It smelled very strongly of smoke and mothballs. I didn’t expect AC, but the one tiny fan was totally inadequate for the Paris heatwave - we felt like we were suffocating all night. Construction noise started at 7:30 in the morning. Bathroom flooded with water from the shower. I am not a tall person and my feet hit the end of the bed, while the other bed has a mattress 4” too short for the frame. When we decided to check out early because of the heat, the host would not reply to my messages to meet up and get our security deposit back. Even if heat hadn’t been a factor, this is an absolutely terrible place to stay. Do yourself a favor and look anywhere else.

The apartment is very simple and basic accommodation but provided the basics of what we needed for a short stay in Paris. Eric was waiting for us at the gate when we arrived and showed us around the apartment. He accepted a driving licence as the retainer/deposit which was returned when we left.It was a shame that there was scaffolding around the whole of the building for the duration of our stay which meant the workers were quite noisy when they started work in the morning. I'm sure this was beyond Erics control and we did not spend much of our day in the apartment anyway.It was less than a 10 minute walk to the metro so made for easy access to the sights in Paris.
