Villa Hermosa er un lugar aislado, privado y refugio refrescante colina, der er ca. Las playas, golf, udflugt a la bahía, senderos og cascadas de la selva se encuentran a poca distancia. Cocinar sus propias comidas en la cocina bien equipada, restaurantes de la zona ofrecen sus delicias culinarias, o puede pedir comidas atendidos servido en la villa.

Nuestros-klienter og især les encanta barbacoa en la piscina ... con una vista! Los amplios jardines están bien cuidados con una varierede de plantas tropicales.

La entrada de la carretera privada de estos bienes está cerrada, al igual que su camino de entrada a la villa. Su privacidad es inigualable aquí, sin embargo, el gerente vive en la propiedad siguiente hacia abajo, y le puede ayudar si es necesario.

Exceeded our expectations!

Our stay was perfect! The house was spacious and clean and the view was spectacular! It is located in a safe and private neighborhood but when we needed something, the owners were 5 minutes away and very responsive. We can't wait to go back!

Location, Location, Amazing Location

Staying at this villa was a bit more adventurous than expected - however, the amazing location and incredible views made the experience. The bedrooms were very comfortable (except when the roof leaked) and the villa overall has plenty of space for people to enjoy. Some reviews state that the kitchen needs "updates," which seems understated. The appliances all function and the kitchen is stocked with the basics. It meets basic needs but doors are falling off, drawers falling out, etc. The hot water situation is also rustic with an extremely loud pump system just off the kitchen that runs periodically and inconsistent hot water to the showers. I wish I had paid attention to the Laundry description in the listing. There is no washer and no dryer. This proved to be difficult to work around given the remote location and humidity. The villa was clean overall but furnishings are dated. Overall, the experience of living in El Yunque for a week was amazing - with coqui serenading and the most lovely sunsets you can imagine. However you should be prepared for rustic living and some inconveniences.

Great place for a few days.

Loved the space and the view and the privacy. Showing it's age and the internet and TV do not work, but that's not why we went there. Access to El Yunque was easy and not far from San Juan.

Be prepared to share your bed with creatures

Pros: 1. AC in one room was broken when we arrived. The owners had in replaced the very next day. 2. Huge living space! 3. Pool area was nice. 4. Views around the property are one of a kind. Cons: 1. There were creatures in our beds! A scorpion, yes a scorpion, was in our bed!!!!!!!!!!! We found a lizard in one of the pillowcases! The house is not secured to keep critters out. All the windows were open in the house but only about 60% of the screens were secured properly. Huge gaps in the screens and windows that don't close all the way allow all the critters into the house. Our group was literally unable to sleep during the night after discovering all the creatures that made it to our beds. Ewww!!!! 2. Everything is damp, moldy, musty smelling, and outdated. While we expected some of this because we read reviews and realize it is located in a rainforest, however it was in excess. Example: we had to mop the kitchen floor every morning because this white mold (looked like foam) grew overnight on the floor. Another example: our bedding had black mold growing on it. 3. Floors get very slippery. We had a member of our group fall down. 4. There is a serious lack of cleaning in this house. We didn't expect it to be immaculate but at least decent. With the mold on our bedding, I am not sure they were washed from the previous guest. There were hairs all over the shower. In one room, there was a half smoked joint under the bed. 5. The supplies to allow guests to clean up after themselves are not provided. There was not a single dishcloth in the place to do our own dishes. No spray to wipe the kitchen down after cooking. There is only 1 trash bag provide which filled up on the 1st day of our stay. Only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom was provided. 6. There are only 4 bathrooms in this home, not 5 as advertised. 2 full baths and 2 half baths.

Not what was expected

To start off the house was very nice. I was upset to not be informed that there was "street cat". Myself and my daughter are very allergic to cats. We was greeted by a cat that was hanging out by the pool. You can tell that this cat was being said there was a plate and bowl for water. The first evening my daughter I had got a bad allergic reaction her eyes filled up shut I messaged the property owner and call as well was trying to make another Arrangement as for my family too possibly stay somewhere else. The lady of the property only try to convince me that it was not their cats it was a street cat and it don't belong there but you can obviously tell this cat I wasn't going nowhere. Unfortunately with my budget and not being a logo of Puerto Rico we stayed but it was very hectic because you can tell in the house it smelled like cat and there was also hair on a furniture. The one bedroom with the view of the pool was very big yes what concerned me was there was no privacy. I noticed there was a camera in the pool area that face directly in the room and pass the pool. I do not find curtains I did find blind but I couldn't get it up to stay put. It was nerve-wracking to feel as if I was being watched and the entrance to the pool and also the rest of the house from the bedroom I know privacy. Also what was noticed is that there was a leak in the bathroom of the same bedroom I did trip and fall luckily I did not get very hurt so I did not complain. But there is a heavy leak due to the rain all the time you are in a rainforest. And there was also another puddle of water in the kitchen couldn't figure out where it was coming from why it was there but it was gross to step in this puddle every time trying to move in the kitchen. The TV in the one bedroom I believe the only bedroom that has a TV it did not work.

Beautiful location, house needs some work

We really enjoyed much of our stay here. The grounds, pool and decks/patios were really lovely for morning coffee and evening swims. Very secluded and safe area... Oh, and the beds were really comfy! As other reviewers have mentioned, the house otherwise needs a lot of work. Those with sensitivities or mold allergies would want to choose another location. The kitchen needs an overhaul, but we did manage to cook there one night.

fantastic location

The house is much better than the pictures, lovely landscape, covered decks front and back, gated and secluded, 15 min to groceries and restaurants, about 35 min to airport, close to beaches and El Yunque.

Beautiful View - Needs Some Updates

The house is in an absolutely breathtaking location with million-dollar views. It was so relaxing to have morning coffee on the pool deck. There are some issues inside the house which need addressing. You cannot take more than one shower at a time, there just isn't enough pressure or hot water. There are lots of water leaks from the ceiling which causes wet spots on floors and furniture. It can be difficult to drive to this property at night, be very careful with the narrow roads and lack of light! Overall I would stay again but the property needs attention.

Our Stay At Villa Hermosa

I want to start off by saying that the location of the property is absolutely beautiful. The views are spectacular! However the reason why I gave the property only 3 stars is the following: The property needs a lot of fixing. When the doors are closed there is a strong smell of humidity or mold. 3 of the bedrooms have black mold on the walls. One of the bedrooms also had stains on the wall that were disturbing. The showers only produce small quantities of water and when more then one person showers the others were unable to. Also on the second to last day we had a leak in the kitchen by the dishwasher. Antonio the owner was quick to respond but was not able to fix the problem because he said we were leaving the next day anyways and there wouldn’t be time. The property has a lot of potential and again it is on a beautiful location and I think if those details are addressed it could be the perfect stay for a large family group.

Amazing

Deserves 5 stars before we even got to the property. Google maps took us to the wrong place 2xs before calling saying "HELP" Antonio came to find us and lead us to the house LOL! It was dark so we really didn't get to see the property until the next morning. Just beautiful. If you are into nature this is the place for you. My grandson loved all the types of creatures that are around the property. Nothing is better than drinking coffee listening to the birds first thing in the morning. We had people back out the month prior to coming so there was only 5 of us not 9. The house is huge so much room. Besides some small minor things that needed to be fixed it was a great stay. I just wish we would of relaxed more at the house instead being on the run all day. The pool was refreshing and perfect! If we ever come back it would be to this place again plus making sure you have a day at the house is a must. It is secluded but very safe! It is a must rent in my book! Couldn't ask for better hosts!

Exotic and Beautiful

There were 7 ladies on a girls trip. We loved the property! It was perfect for us. We felt very safe and secure every night. I cannot tell you how beautiful the property is. Lush and tropical. There are ginger plants, orchids, and other flowers all over the place. The coqui frogs and night birds really were just the icing on the cake. The very rare mahogany tree in the back was gorgeous. We had a great time and are making plans to come back with our spouses!

Gorgeous PR

Beautiful location. The views out to the Atlantic and the hills exceptional. The flowers around the pool smelled sweet for our whole stay! It was like staying in a botanical garden. The house has lots of spaces for folks to gather in large or small groups. The pool was refreshing and lots of fun. Connie and Antonio are very accessible and attentive. Than you!

Tranquilidad !!!!

Buena localización. Tremendo lugar para estar alejado de todo. Tiene tremenda vista. Casa es bien espaciosa con todo funcionando perfectamente. Lo único negativo es el mantenimiento a la casa. Por ejemplo, la pluma del fregadero en la cocina esta a punto de caerse, ventanas sucias ( telarañas), pintura en general, cables expuestos, el lavamanos de un baño deja un charco de agua en el piso cuando se usa, etc. En mi opinión, le hace falta un retoque completo para poder darle 5 estrellas. Yo le doy 3 estrellas !!!

Amazing Location

This is a spectacular property - amazing views and surrounded by the rain forest. We loved the pool and the spacious common rooms. It was plenty big enough for nine of us. There were some minor maintenance issues, but the stay was amazing.

The VIEW WOW!

We loved this house and I would rent it again. We stayed 5 nights here. Our whole stay was at this places. We rented 2 cars as we had 2 adults and 5 kids. (2 of the kids are 19 but they are still our kids!) Must have a car to get to this amazing house. All the flowers and lizards around kept us busy. We really enjoyed have our own space. We enjoyed the pool every day. It was wonderful to just open the bedroom door at 5am and hit the pool for a quick swim. Every night we got back someone if not all were in the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed, bathrooms, bedrooms and bedrooms as well. Cons: No pool toys/stuff for entertainment ( but this really was not a big deal) we got some at the wal-mart. No washer & dryer. Which we knew this as it stat it. But with all the towels we used it would have been nice to wash stuff and get the sand off before our flight. The floor gets so slippery when wet from the pool. If I had kids younger then 10 I would be making sure they got drier off 100% before entering the house. Our feet were wet and we had to be extra careful not to fall ( some still did). But the house really is not bad and we left stuff and dishes in the sink as we had a flight change and had to move fast. We like that there were 2 bedrooms with doors that went out to the pool. The kids took the others across the hall. Your in 2 locked gates to feel extra safe. Wish I could upload pictures of the house.

This house was everything that we were expecting pool was amazing with a million dollar view! Definitely need a car! Only downside no washer and dryer other than that no complaints! And the host are super nice!!!

Big open spaces

Beautiful property. Plenty of space for large party. Very private location. House needs some work but definitely doable. Pool was cold but clean. Owner was responsive. Enjoyed our time in this house. Appreciated being able to get a large home for 2 families on short notice

AMAZING WEEK

My family and I had a great time, location was great, we had plenty of space and the owners are amazing. There does need to be some upgrades done though. Only one bedroom has a TV, the roof in the bathroom leaks and only the hot water works. The half bath only has cold water [off the Kitchen], the home does have some mold, the grille needs to possibly replaced and the home needs a washer /dryer or at least have more towels available. I has to drive to the laundry facility. With some attention, the house cold be amazing.

Wonderful and Relaxing

The location in the mountains is spectacular. The view to the coast is amazing. It is a nice place to spend time with family and friends. The house is very spacious and clean. The pool area is great and there’s plenty of space in the surroundings. The owners are very accessible and helpful with any need.

Great house and great hosts

We had kids of every age and the house was big enough that each one could find their spot to hang out and have fun. The pool is great, a little bit deep for little ones, but the owners have life jackets available which to me was a plus! The hosts are extremely nice and very willing to help in anything. Strongly recommend the property to any group of people with any age range, there's something for everyone.

Worth couple of nights

Yes, this house a bit aged and you can smell some wet situation inside.... But the location is gorgeous ! If you want to experience to spend couple nights in a rainforest with loud bird noises or seeing huge, beautiful flowers everywhere that unique place is for you ! I recommend not spending here your whole vacation, but if you booking 2-3 nights here and the other part of your vacation somewhere else, it makes your whole Puerto Rico experience way more colorful !
