As always, our stay was wonderful. Communication with Ben and the manager Kathy is excellent. The place is simply perfect! Waking up and enjoying our morning coffee to the sound of the waves makes our vacation incredibly relaxing.

Great place!

Very nice condo in a small, beautiful complex. The people who work there are friendly and helpful, Kathy, the manager is very knowledgeable and can offer referrals and assistance for whatever you may need or want! We will definitely return!

Everything was perfect

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was beautiful, clean & well-equipped. Location was perfect for kitesurfing. Our host Ben provided very useful info in advance and kept us informed during our trip. We particularly appreciated the heads up as we had some bad weather on arrival. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect family getaway in a quiet slice of paradise

We absolutely loved our stay at this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable, clean, well-equipped, nicely decorated place to stay in a gorgeous tropical location. The property is located right on the nicest, most tranquil beach of Cabarete (furthest from the town). The owner, property manager and staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our quick Christmas getaway so perfect!

Perfect!

The condo is comfortable, well stocked and the location is perfect. The gardens are amazing and the view from the condo is awesome. Loved listening to the waves and watching the kite surfers. I felt safe and would stay again. Thanks!!

Great time in Kite beach

The condo is perfectly spotted if you like the beach and to do Kite surf . It s clean and well equipped , we miss air conditioning for a couple of days but with the fan it was ok . Thanks for having us we re gonna come back . Pascal , Magali , Charlie and Léo

Home away from Home in Paradise

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful condo in the Dominican Republic! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome — they were kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation.The condo itself was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we could ask for. The surrounding gardens and property are absolutely stunning — so peaceful, lush, and immaculately maintained. Every morning felt like waking up in a tropical paradise!This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are already planning our return — there’s no question we’ll be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, unforgettable stay!

Perfect 2 bedroom, on-beach location, comfortable, clean, convenient

My children and I stayed for 4 nights and were sad to leave. The rental is located within a lovely building surrounded by tropical greenery. The apartment was well kept, stocked with extra towels, enough cookware and dishes, and even some sunscreen. Karen, the property manager, was available in an instant and answered questions easily. My favorite part was the porch, where you could sit and hear the ebb and flow of the waves, take in the incredible garden, and leave the door open for the ocean breeze. Fantastic, comfortable, clean property. Attentive owners/staff. Super easy check in. One of our best vacation rental experiences ever.

Beautiful Property

We just had a wonderful week at this beautiful property. The condo was clean, the grounds were immaculate, and the beach was gorgeous. There is 24 hour security, and staff available for anything you may need, day or night. Ben and Jenny, the owners were so helpful with recommendations to area restaurants, beaches, covid testing and much more. The entire staff was so friendly and they made you feel at home. The view from the condo is everything you could imagine. The beach was clean, and the water a perfect shade of blue. There are many fun restaurants within walking distance or just a quick short drive. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely rent from Ben and Jenny again.

Great spot on the beach for kiting

Overall the condo itself is a bit tired, not as we had anticipated based on the description in VRBO. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed in the master is comfortable. You can't see the beach from the 1st floor and it's difficult to get one of only 4 chairs on the deck in front of the beach available for 6 units. Parties of 4 send one person in with towels to reserve them. If you're a kiter this is a very good spot to be.

Bernie, Thank you for your review and my wife and I personally visited the condo this week to examine issues that could be improved for future guests. Our condo is directly on kite beach and we are constantly amazed at how hard salt water air can be on anything made with metal. We thank you for your specific recommendations and all have been addressed. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent experience for our guests and our pictures have always provided a true picture of what our guests can expect. Our condo is elevated about 4 feet above our amazing tropical gardens and although we have a direct view of the ocean over our gardens, it is true that you cannot see the sand of the beach (if you could see the sand we would have a problem). We appreciate your request to book for another three months in 2025, and we are sorry that we could not accommodate your request. Please contact us with alternative dates should your family find dates that work for you. Cheers

A month in paradise

My wife and I stayed at the Fravel's beautiful appartment working remotely for a month. We've stayed at Palacio Atlantico before in another unit. We love the location, just down from the main action from Kite Beach so a little quieter. The unit is well equipped and very well laid out. Excellent quality internet speeds so working was never an issue. The unit over looks the spectacular gardens and the ocean. The pool area is sublime. For kiters there is a ground floor storage room which makes packing up after a kite session super easy. We had the opportunity to meet with Ben and family while we were there which was great too. The building has only 6 units so is always peaceful. We love Kite Beach which has a real community feel and we'll never stay anywhere else when returning to Cabarete. Finally, we must mention Kathy and the rest of the staff. They are all wonderfully friendly and very attentive and we look forward to seeing them all again next year!

A Little Piece of Paradise

Staying at this condo really did feel like being in paradise. The lush, tropical gardens are beautiful to behold from every vantage point- the balcony, the pool, and the walks in and out of the compound. Just a few steps from a quiet beach, the condo itself is light, spacious, and very comfortable. We were able to prepare some food for ourselves in the well-appointed kitchen, though we also enjoyed Mesa Taina, a restaurant that is just a few steps from the condo. Air-conditioning in the bedrooms helped us sleep during especially humid nights (though we tried not to overuse it). Despite the pleasant ambiance of the apartment, we spent much of our time relaxing on the balcony, listening to the waves, feeling the ocean breezes, and watching the kite boarders. We also enjoyed the pool area, which is a quiet, beautiful, shaded space, especially when the sun became a bit too much on the beach. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, courteous, and responsive. Through his online communications, the owner was welcoming and very helpful with regard to logistics. Kathy, the manager, greeted us like family and could not have been more warm and accommodating. Any question we asked her was answered almost immediately. Marino seemed to be available at a moment's notice to take us wherever we wanted to go, and was so affable we looked forward to his company. The rest of the staff was equally pleasant and helpful; we were well cared for during our stay! The condo is about a mile from the town of Cabarete and one of our favorite activities was walking along the beach into and out of town- an easy and very beautiful walk. Honestly, I cannot say enough about this wonderful place. We hated to leave and look forward to our return!

Even more beautiful than expected..a true home away from home

My cousin and I stayed at Palacio Atlantico November 14-21st 2016. Upon arrival we were greeted so warmly by Kathy and her husband who gave us the grand tour, welcoming us with our first of many delicious beverages during our stay! The photos of this condo do not even come close to doing it justice. The gardens are breathtaking. The home is updated and clean and beautiful. This is truly a beachfront condo, breathtaking views of the water. We fell in love with the security dogs Rambo and Capi. They will spend time with you on the deck or at the pool and we absolutely loved that. The security that works 24 hours at the condo go above and beyond and are also extremely kind. They went as far as calling a taxi for us on our first night, so we knew we had a good safe ride. The weather was not perfect during our stay, we had rain three of the days. But this did not stop us from loving our vacation. This condo is approx a 25 minute walk into the town, which we did no problem. There are motos (small motor bikes) pulling over constantly. Locals who are asking to give you rides for 1-2usd..which is cheaper than a legitimate taxi. But the savings comes with risk- we did take a handful of motos during our stay, just for the fun! Since the weather wasn't perfect...we did a lot eating! The hotel next door , Extreme Hotel..has a new restaurant La Mesa Taina..it is steps away from the condo and DELICIOUS. Happy Hour 4-7, 2 for 1 mojitos. The sushi..nachos..risotto just amazing. We ended up falling in love with The Lazy Dog at night..happy hour as well from 10-11..60 pesos for fish taco and 190 pesos for a pitcher of mixed drinks. So many great restaurants in the area. If you are a yoga enthusiast this condo is perfectly located. You can see the loft from the front deck. We took advantage of this and absolutely loved it. Yoga overlooking the water. Although the plans didn't work out..Kathy was assisting us in booking excursions for the best value, she truly went above and beyond. And when we had misplaced something outside the condo gate, I called her and she retrieved it for us no problem. You feel completely safe and taken care of knowing she's there. Ben was a pleasure to plan with. Cabarete was experiencing flooding prior to our arrival and he emailed me and kept us in the know. Which we truly appreciated. I tend to not return to a place after I have visited..but this condo and cabarete have made me promise myself I will be here again!

This was a beautiful condo, perfectly located on Kite Beach with a deck overlooking the beach and wonderful views off the balcony. Very well kept, clean, and comfortable. Everything about it was wonderful.

Garden paradise on the beach

Our family has lived in the DR for years, so we have stayed in many places at different beaches. Ben's place at Palacio Atlantico is our favorite spot on the island! The apartment is very nice - nicely decorated, with a well-stocked kitchen, and it has an incredible view from its large balcony of beautiful gardens and Kite Beach. There is a constant breeze that keeps it comfortable. The beach is almost empty in the mornings, then in the afternoons you can watch the kite surfers. The apartment is kept clean and well maintained by the staff, and Kathy quickly responds to any needs that arise. We hope to keep coming back!

Emplacement idéal, les pieds dans le sable, vue sur le spot de kite.

Petite résidence au calme, à l’écart du bruit qu’il y a au centre. Staff très gentil et serviable , toujours au petit soin. Nous avons passé un super séjour 👍🏻
