Very nice condo. Well stocked kitchen with everything you would need to prepare meals for a family. The view is amazing from the balcony and a very short walk to the beach. Very clean and the furniture was nice. The host communications were super, answered everything I asked in a timely manner great to work with.I do think the mattress in the main bedroom is too firm but everyone is different and the curtains in that bedroom could not be closed( balcony room) I didn't like that. Washer did have a bad odor so I did not do my laundry in it. I didn't like the idea of not doing laundry but was only there 3 nights and just 2 of us. Overall a very clean place, great location, amazing view and the host was easy to work with so I wouldn't mind staying there again at all. Hope this helps anyone looking to stay book this condo.

Needs painting improvements. One bedroom ceiling really needs attention. The air filters dirty. Smelled musty before we opened doors to air out.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We didn’t have a bad experience, but here are my personal opinions regarding the condo:Pros:Location is great, the elevator was fast, the furniture in and on the balcony was comfortable, the pool was nice, check in/out was easyCons:the showers are very small and fixtures need to be replaced, the sheets did not fit the mattress, the closet door in kitchen track is broken, unit is smaller than what we were used toOverall, it worked for what we needed for last minute booking, but personally feel the unit was overpriced for what it provides. Also, while not needed, there isn’t an option for early check in

Overall a nice stay

We loved the location and view from the big balcony although the unit itself could use some updating and we found some dishes in the cabinet were dirty. We also had an issue with the elevator not working but luckily that was resolved within a few hours. Overall, a good stay and we enjoyed our beach weekend.

I wrote a longer, more detailed review, but it was rejected so I'm keeping this one brief. The Condo is managed by Gulf Shores Rental. My experience with them was terrible and I will never rent from them again. I was not given the location of my rental until 3 hours before check in, which made planning things very difficult. They do not provide basic provisions (ie: toilet paper) for the duration of your stay. Customer service is non existent and their staff was rude and uncaring. I would advise the owners of this condo to find better representation for their unit. If you want to stay in a place where someone local might be of any assistance, this is not your place. The condo was wonderful in every other way. Comfy beds, right off the beach, warm pool. If they find different management, I would jump at the chance to stay there again.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your nice condo. It was very clean and homey! We loved seeing the personal photos of your family. There are a couple of things I’d like to mention; the handicap bar in the master bath was loose and could not be used. The high frame at the bottom of the sliding door was almost tripped over going out to the balcony. Could you possibly put a sign that reads watch your step inside and outside of the sliding glass door. Thank you!

Ocean House

Overall, our stay was nice. The condo was nice and what we expected from the pictures. The location was great. The pool area was nice and well kept. My only complaint would be that the lobby area and elevator had a bad odor that permeated the entire week that we were there. I'm not sure if it was an odor from the dumpster or garbage chute, but it typically smelled like a dirty diaper in the lobby. We didn't spend much time in the lobby, so not a huge issue. The building manager should probably check into that odor. Other than that, everything was nice. I would recommend staying here. So close to the beach!

June Vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a nice rental with a good location. It was decent and fairly clean (although we did need the sheets changed our first day because there were stains). The burners on the stove don't fit or the underneath silver holders don't fit because all the burners sit at an angle. It was hard to cook. We planned on eating breakfast and lunch in the condo every day but it was challenging with the misfitting burners. I also ended up with a huge bruise on my arm because the armoire in the bedroom did not give much space between the bed and the bathroom. I kept hitting my arm on the piece of furniture which is unnecessary in my mind since it can't hold anything of the guests anyway. Overall, the place was fine we just had these few observations.

Should have read the details closer

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had no trouble with the building and loved the pool but were not happy with our condo. I didn’t notice when I rented that it was only a queen bed in the master. Most have a king. Not only was it small, there was no storage. We are used to empty closets to store suitcases and clothes in. These were so full we could barely get clothes on hangers in them. There was mold on the shower curtain in the 2nd bedroom and the stool had to be plunged at least once a day. We really did like the building and the pool but wouldn’t rent this unit again. We also have never paid for parking before. $30 per week and it is usually no charge.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 31. okt. 2024
We appreciate this guest’s review. We deeply regret that this unit did not meet the guest’s expectations. If a condo falls short of our standards, we are always ready to dispatch housekeeping and maintenance to address any issues. Rest assured, all housekeeping and maintenance concerns will be forwarded to the appropriate departments for resolution, and any update suggestions will be communicated to the relevant parties. We’re also sorry the unit didn’t provide enough storage space and felt smaller than expected. As far as the parking fee goes, each property is managed by an HOA, and nearly all rental properties require a parking fee. To our knowledge, there aren’t properties without this charge, and we communicated the parking fee to the guest more than once via email prior to their arrival. At Gulf Shores Rentals, we are committed to continually improving our properties to ensure our guests have a delightful stay. Thank you for your feedback! - Gulf Shores Rentals
