Loved dinner on the terrace.

The location was excellent. Close to the train station and the wall. We enjoyed hanging out with our friends on the patio eating home cooked wonderful Italian food.It was a lovely stay. Highly recommend this place.

Great location just outside the walls of Lucca. It is located near the train station which is ideal for catching the train for day trips to Pisa, Florence and to the airport, although it can be a little noisy at times. The apartment was clean and suited our needs for a weeks holiday. The terrace was lovely to sit out on but we would have appreciated comfier chairs. Check in and out were easy and the information provided around restaurants and other areas to visit was an appreciated touch. A lovely place to visit with lots of restaurants and things to do. We'll definitely be visiting again.

The apartment was lovely and clean, but there was an issue with the second bathroom, which we were unable to use due to the strong odour of sewage. Additionally, the third bed was meant to be the couch, which was fine, except that there was no bedding that we discovered. Our check-in was a bit rocky because we were unavoidably late and the phone number we had did not work. It was difficult to find and we needed help to finally locate it.

Great Location in Lucca

This is a very nice apartment a very short walk from the walls of Lucca. The apartment was very comfortable for our stay. Each of the 2 bedrooms were large and comfortable. The back balcony/patio was nice to relax on. Please note the train station is less than 1 block away. You will here some typical noises as trains arrive and depart, but it was not bothersome overall. There are 2 great pizzeria's within a 1 minute walk and several other restaurants and bars just outside the wall. Parking is on the street outside the apartment, it is located on a dead end. I never had trouble securing a spot in my 10 day stay, but it does get busy at times.

Very nice apartment in perfect location.

Very nice apartment in perfect location just outside of the city wall of beautyful Lucca. The place was very clean and well functioning. Enrico was very helpful with everything - including buying train ticket to Florence.

Wonderful apartment great location

My travelmate and I stayed at La Terrazza for four weeks while attending classes at the Lucca Italian School. We loved it! It’s located just outside the city walls with a small grocery store across the street and the best pizza in Lucca only a block away. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished. Whenever we had a problem or a question, Enrico was always available with advice or help. I strongly recommend La Terrazza.

Great spot for Lucca, perfect for 4 people .

The location was perfect, being just steps outside the ancient city wall. A little crowded for 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) and the sofa bed was lumpy and soft. The apartment is clean, spacious and sunny. Only the kitchen window is equipped with a screen so mosquitoes was a problem on hot evenings. Our landlord Henrique was very helpful and spoke excellent English. We found the garbage disposal system to be a bit of a pain because we had to carry bags of waste and walked about 10 minutes to dispose them properly. Other than that we had a great time..

Lesson learned, next trip No vacation rentals

Apartment was clean and location was good, except owner's description was misleading. I was told apartment was on first floor, which it was, but it was up a flight of stairs(my mistake, I forgot in Europe , the first floor is actually 2nd from street level). When we arrived, three women with large suitcases( my son didn't arrive until 2nd week), Enrico didn't even offer to help us with bags. Lucky for us, there was a young man on premises who helped us. I wanted to be close to Lucca's wall, and the train station, which it was. However, to get to either required walking up a flight of 36 stairs, across a rr bridge, and down another flight. A bit daunting for me. Also, cost 6 Euros a day for parking. Original rental was for 4 weeks, which I had to shorten to 3, but was told there would no adjustment in the cost, even though I notified owner of change 60 days ahead of time. No hot water until 3 pm one day, our entire street was blocked off for two days due to The Rolling Stones concert, which made parking even more difficult, and there were no linens for sofa bed. If this had been my first trip to Italy, I would think twice about returning. However, this was my third, and I know it's not usually like this. I won't use vrbo again. What a disappointment in what should have been a lovely vacation for me and my family, not to mention the expense. Lesson learned.

This is the first time in many years that I receive a one star review which I accept. What I don’t accept is inaccurate descriptions. First floor is first floor all over the world. I’ve spend with these guests the same almost 40 minutes at the arrival as I always do with all my guests, not only giving good advices about lucca , tours and restaurants but also explaining all the ways to get to the city included the other underpassage that leads to the city in case a guest prefers not doing the stairs and the lots of other free parking just around the corner! I fixed the hot water problem in a couple of hours and in that occasion no one mentioned that there were missing linen. All the linen were supplied as usual. And last but not least it’s not my fault that an unique occasion of a Rolling Stones concert took place so close to lucca and anyways gave parking restrictions for 24 hours. I think these guests simply misunderstood the difference between a lovely private apt with a 5 star hotel.

Idéalement situé pour profiter de la belle ville fortifiée de Lucca!

L'appartement est idéal pour une famille de 5/6 personnes, et les équipements sont au top! Il n'y avait que quelques pas à faire pour se trouver dans la ville fortifiée de Lucca, les amateurs de vieilles pierres vont adorer! La boulangerie à 100m et les Pizzas Da Nini à 50m sont à recommander! A Lucca il faut voir le jardin Botanique, le Palazzo Pfanner, la Tour Guinini et bien d'autres choses, la ville est truffée de monuments à visiter....attention la semaine passe vite! Les plages publiques de Viareggio et la Marina de Vecchiano sont à conseiller. Pise est à 15/20 minutes en voiture et Florence à 1h20 en train (la gare est à 50 m de l'appartement). Il n'y a qu'à quitter Lucca par le nord pour se trouver en 5 minutes dans les montagnes et les oliviers!... Bref entre ville, montagne et mer il y a le choix!

Ideale uitvalsbasis!

Een mooi, comfortabel vakantieappartement met terras waar je zalig kan zitten. Voor ons was vooral de nabijheid van het station een groot pluspunt. Pisa en Firenze zijn op deze manier op een prettige manier te bezoeken. Ook de eigenaar neemt goed zijn tijd om je wegwijs te maken over de diverse mogelijke uitstappen in de buurt. Kortom dit appartement is een aanrader.

Ottima location!

Abbiamo prenotato questa casa per un weekend a Lucca, decisione last minute. Io mio marito e i nostri tre figli, ottima posizione, a pochissimi metri dal centro storico ma con la possibilità di parcheggiare sotto casa. Enrico è gentilissimo e la casa è completamente nuova appena ristrutturata, Enrico ha detto che eravamo i primi ospiti! Assolutamente consigliata.
