We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. It had everything you needed for a relaxing holiday. From the villa we travelled to Matera and polignano di mare. All the restaurants in Alberobello were all superb.

Wonderful visit

Our family had a great time at the property. The home, pool, and grounds were great. Short drive into town and easy access to the rest of Puglia. Terrific hosts who helped make our stay even better. Thank you!

Trulli holiday

Great location. The trulli was perfect with loads of outside space and comfortable inside. It was nice that when we arrived there was cold water in the fridge with some other supplies to make us welcome. Check in and check out were straight forward and we felt very much at home. Thank you for a great stay.

A beautiful place to stay in a wonderful setting

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful place. A quiet peaceful setting surrounded by wonderful countryside made it easy to relax and get away from our busy lives for a week. Cristina and Alessandro could not have been better hosts, they left us alone to enjoy our stay but were always available if we needed anything. Thank you.

Very highly recommended property!!!

Exactly as described, quiet and beautiful. 40min walk to aberobello or 5min in the car. Great base to visit the local towns. Cristina is such a lovely person with great recommendations. Her family wine and olive oil is ridiculously good! Hope to be back soon. Thanks for the great hospitality.

Fabulous property!

You will have a hard time not saying”wow” every time you turn a corner- from the gated entrance to the beautiful pool and wonderful trullo. Cristina has thought of everything! Its very clean, well stocked ( we stayed for 4 days and disnt want to leave!) directions are great - gravel road but so peaceful and quiet. A little slice of paradiso!

Serenity in the land of Trulli’s

This beautiful Trulli home is tucked away from the crowds on a back dirt road in a tranquil setting. The kitchen was loaded with water and treats. Bedrooms and bathrooms were well outfitted and very comfortable. The pool and patio area outside were beautiful we used them as weather would permit. We even walked to dinner at a local pizza restaurant one night.

Beautiful property!

We stayed for a week with our 10 month old and Cristina was so incredibly helpful. She went out of her way to put together a crib for him to sleep in and made sure everything was set up with covers etc when we arrived. She was always available and responded very quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again and had a wonderful time. Thank you!

‘A little piece of heaven in Puglia’

We spent a very memorable family holiday in this fabulous villa close to the village of Alberobello but in a tranquil rural setting. Cristina was an attentive host on hand to answer any query we had and pre organising airport transfers and car hire. Herself and her husband Allesandro greeted us on our very late arrival with a well stocked fridge and larder a tray of delicious focaccia and not forgetting the bottle of her fathers red wine! I hope we are fortunate enough to return here at some time in the future.

Gorgeous pool which gets the sun most of the day.

From the moment we arrived everything was so easy and perfect. Cristina greeted us with true Apulcian warmth and hospitality. She explained where everything was, gave us a tour and some local tips for visiting and left us some local delicacies. The trulli is truly (!) gorgeous and we can’t recommend it enough for couples wanting a romantic getaway or families/friends looking for the idyllic Italian holiday. Lots to do in the area but we enjoyed relaxing at the trulli most days. Thank you Cristina

Wonderful stay

The house is a meticulously restored Trulli. A delightful property which is thoughtfully equipped with everything one could want from kitchen equipment to outside bbqs, pool etc. Personal touches give it a very homely feel. Cristina, the owner is a delight to deal with and very thoughtful. When we asked about bike hire she said she had been thinking about getting some bikes for the house and when we arrived we found she had bought some. Everything made for a really pleasant and comfortable stay in a very nice house.

It 's true, I have restored and renovated "Trullo of jay" trying to put all the aspects that I would have personally liked to find in a hypothetical ideal holiday. There is love, passion and a lot of energy into what I do to make my guests feel good, and to allow them to live a perfect and memorable holiday. This lovely property was perfect for our week long visit, and we would have been comfortable staying even longer term. The location was convenient for day trips to other towns. It was also very convenient to Alberobello, a short drive into town, but felt remote and secluded. It was relaxing and beautiful and peaceful. The home was clean and comfortable and quiet. We had fun day trips, but what we loved most was our peaceful slow mornings, eating breakfast outside, listening to birds, walking around the olive groves, and also coming home at the end of each day, having dinner outside as the sun set and the stars came out. We appreciated the owners’ special attention to detail and extra nice touches, such as stocking some food supplies for breakfasts, as well as some local snacks. They provided some suggestions of places to visit and where to get groceries. We absolutely loved staying at Trullo della Ghiandaia, and hope to return!

A great and very memorable holiday experience

We were delighted to be met on arrival by Cristina and Alessandro and be given such a warm welcome to their trullo. Our new hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful, both in showing us the property and providing tips on where to visit locally. Having rented many self catering properties over the years in Italy, Spain, Greece, France and Scotland, Cristina and Alessandro are the best hosts we have experienced, surpassing all expectations. We felt they were very genuine and caring and went out of their way to assist with any requests. We look forward to our return.

Strongly recommend both the Trulli and the region.

This is a wonderful trulli set in beautiful countryside and only 3-5 min drive from Alberobello. The Trulli is beautiful, clean and well maintained and has everything needed to have a great holiday. Cristina is a fabulous host and really goes out of her way to make sure you not only get the most from the villa, but also from the whole region - she is very knowledgable about everywhere to go in Puglia from a tourism p.o.v. and is very welcoming and very responsive on Whatsapp/phone/email etc. Alberobello is stunning, as are a lot of the local towns, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Martina Franca, Noci and so on. As a whole - we had a brilliant week.

A Perfect Holiday!

We have just returned from our two week holiday at this lovely villa. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, assisting us with car hire and giving us suggestions on where to visit whilst on holiday. The house itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our holiday with two teenagers. Cosy but enough space for us all. We also loved the way the house stays so cool when it is so hot outside! The pool was fantastic, with sunbeds and a shady sitting area with table and chairs for eating. Even a choice of BBQ’s depending on where you fancy sitting. Lovely peaceful countryside but only a few minutes drive into town and the local supermarket. In the evenings there is also a local pizza restaurant which is only a ten minute walk away. Cristina made us feel really welcome, and we would love to return soon.

An absolute gem in Alberobello!

We (2 couples) had the pleasure of meeting Cristina and her husband at their incredible trullo in Alberobello. If we could have rated it 6 stars, we would have! The trullo is situated in the most beautiful setting and is even more stunning than the pictures lead you to believe. The home itself is perfectly appointed; not one item was needed. Cristina could not have been more thoughtful and kind, and provided us with wonderful suggestions of where to eat and what sights to see. She was readily available to answer any questions. Over our two and a half weeks in Italy, we stayed in 5 different apartments in 5 cities/ towns. This was, by far, our favourite, not only for the amenities of the trullo, but for the thoughtfulness of our hosts. We would love to return someday! Grazie mille, Christina!

Wir hatten einen rundum schönen und erholsamen Aufenthalt. Das Trulli war sauber, die Zimmer angenehm groß und die ruhige Lage hat uns sehr gefallen. Besonders schön waren die beiden überdachten Terrassen und natürlich der tolle, sehr gepflegte Pool. Hervorheben möchten wir außerdem die hervorragende Kommunikation mit Cristina - immer freundlich, unkompliziert und zuverlässig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar und eine wunderbare Pizzeria liegt ganz in der Nähe. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Trulli gerne empfehlen.

Cette propriété est tout simplement superbe. La cadre est magnifique avec ce trullo typique de la région, dans un environnement calme. Les extérieurs sont parfaits pour profiter à la fois de la piscine et du soleil, mais aussi pour pouvoir être un peu à l’ombre. La maison en elle-même a beaucoup de charme. Cristina est très accueillante et très prévenante, et la communication a été très facile avant et pendant le séjour. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances . Bien évidemment, je recommande cette villa !
