Villa Cortina is superb! We had a perfect 2 week summer holiday here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. The location is stunning with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. We made the most of the gorgeous swimming pool and seating areas and when feeling a bit more energetic played ping pong and had lots of fun on the putting green. The villa interior is nice and roomy with modern bathrooms, bright and airy bedrooms and comfy living areas. The kitchen is wonderfully well equipped, everything we needed was there. We have stayed at many different villas over the years and can always think of ways things can be improved upon but at Villa Cortina we can happily say we had a perfect stay. Thank you so much David and Rosemary, we hope to return.

Dear Emma & Jules, Thank you both. You certainly did make full use of the activities at Villa Cortina and we are delighted that your stay was a memorable one! We love the putting green too and well done for the three 'holes in one' Emma! We very much look forward to welcoming you back to Cortina in the not too distant future. In the meantime, we wish you an enjoyable rest of the summer! Kind regards, David & Rosemary

Lovely property, the visuals are true. Quiet location but within easy reach of all amenities. There is good local support should something fail in the villa (we had a slight issue with an aircon unit in one of the bedrooms but it was dealt with on an efficient manner). The pool was lovely and the filters worked well, it was the cleanest pool we have ever used. The grounds are well kept and are mature. Our grandsons enjoyed the mini golf, the darts and the table tennis. The darts need replacing and it would be helpful to have additional canes and flights, also, a rubber mat underneath the dart board would be beneficial but these are mere housekeeping issues and didn't stop us enjoying anything. With hindsight we could have brought our own darts. The villa was superb in every way.

Hillside heaven

Loved our stay here, beautiful views and breeze in the hills above the algarve coast. Very peaceful spot and vast plot of land with plentiful seating and dining areas. Close to Loule which has a fab market and some excellent local restaurants. Bathrooms and kitchen were particularly new and modern. Would definitely recommend.

Family Holiday at Villa Cortina.

We had a fantastic holiday. The villa had everything we needed and more. The pool was enjoyed by our whole family (our two boys aged 9 and 6 had a great time). The table tennis and mini golf area were also well used. The villa itself was well equipped and we were able to cook and eat in comfort while taking in the beautiful view. The information at the villa about the local area was also much appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend this villa.

Relax

The house is nestled along a hill and offers incredible views and beautiful silence. The pool was perfect and the extras (table tennis & putting green) kept our child busy. The kitchen was well equipped. In addition the home was close to the beach and other activities. The communication with David and Bill were impeccable. Thank you for providing the ultimate relaxation experience!

Great countryside villa that has a large pool (compared to other villas we have stayed in). Distant views of sea but gorgeous countryside and sunrise views. On large plot with multiple outdoor areas to sit, eat, relax etc. Great to have darts, putting and table tennis available. Fly screens on the patio doors work really well. Good powerful showers. Have stayed previously 10 years ago and the kitchen and bathrooms been updated over that time. Drive to vilamoura about 20 minutes but closer restaurants and facilities inland too. Would recommend if you want a quiet relaxed stay away from the busy resorts. Flexible, friendly owner and only things that could be improved are the bed mattresses - very hard, and the cleaning was a bit hit and miss. Overall a wonderful week away.

Dear Debra, I am delighted that your family holiday was an enjoyable and memorable one and hope that you will return for a 4th visit in the near future. I checked with my manager in regard to the cleaning you brought to my attention and can confirm that this was related to paper fragments that were removed from our newly delivered garden furniture in the kitchen and lounge areas before being installed on our lower terrace. I am pleased though that this did not detract from the wonderful week you and your family spent at Villa Cortina. Best regards David

“Fantastic stay in a dream villa in Portugal!”Our stay in this villa was absolutely amazing. The property was spotless upon arrival, very spacious, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Everything felt well cared for and maintained. The interior radiates comfort and instantly gives you that holiday feeling.Communication with the owner/host was excellent: quick, friendly, and clear. Whenever we had a question, we received an immediate response, making everything run smoothly. The location is perfect for enjoying peace and quiet, yet still close to all amenities and beautiful spots in the area. We instantly felt at home here and enjoyed every moment. In short: an absolute must for anyone looking for a carefree and luxurious holiday in Portugal. We will definitely be back!

Villa Cortina

As a family of 6 we had a fabulous week in Villa Cortina which sits on an enormous plot inland from the coast. The Villa is a great size with a really large comfortable lounge/dining area and a very well equipped kitchen & utility. There are 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom on the first floor with a master bedroom & en suite on the ground floor. There is a third bathroom with shower also on the ground floor. Everything worked so well - the all important Wi-Fi was excellent and the showers were powerful and hot. We enjoyed watching a bit of the Olympics on the tv which has every channel you can think of. The real beauty of the place is the outside space - ping pong, darts (in the outside bar area) and the putting green were great fun. The pool is deep and large. The BBQ was used every night as we ate under the stars. There are loads of supermarkets nearby and Loulé is a lovely little town to visit. The coastline is a little over-developed in places but there are some beautiful little beaches to be found. A Car is absolutely essential. The villa is away from everything and the perfect place to chill out in the sun.
