Great place to stay during high season

On the left side of the Arno, close enough to all that you want to see, but less crowded.

Great stay in Florence

This is a great place to stay in Florence. Stefano is a great host. The apartment is large, clean and well furnished. Close to all of the best places in Florence.

Great place and wonderful hosts!

We had a great time at Stefano's place. It was exactly what was online, very walkable to everything, clean and comfortable. Stefano and famiky were very helpful and communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect all around!

This property and our hosts were wonderful. The location and availability and flexibility of our hosts contributed greatly to our experience in Florence. I can’t recommended this more and would come back!

Sweet Home S. Frediano

Great stay! Amenities were perfect. Our only issue was bringing luggage up and down the 4 floors-but only needed to upon arrival and departure. Great location! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Stefano!

Excellent location, beautiful apartment, everything you need! My teenage daughter and I stayed here for two weeks and will definitely be back. Apartment is walking distance to everything Florence has to offer but far enough from the crowds that you really get to relax. Owners are very responsive and made sure we were well taken care of. Would give 6 stars if allowed!!

Conference and leisure stay with family

Great spacious place to stay with your family, very quiet. Easy to reach anything in and around the city center including the Fortezza conference centre. Good WiFi for video conferences. Thanks!

First time

Stephano helped us tremendously with restaurant and shopping recommendations. Very clean and comfortable home. Non-touristy location, and yet walkable to all sights. We loved our time there.

Stay in San Frediano

An excellent place to stay south of the river .The owner was very friendly ( despite our rather late arrival) and gave us good local tips. There are stairs to climb, which might be a problem for some but we had a delightful stay.

Comfortable, homey and well equipped

We had a terrific stay. The host is so friendly and accommodating. Charmingly decorated and with lots of good natural light. It’s a super convenient location and everything in the apartment is in good working order. We cooked lots of meals so we particularly appreciated the very well equipped kitchen!

Beautiful apartment, warm host!

We had a beautiful time in Florence, and our host made it so much better with his attention, care and warmth. Felt like we were part of a family. The apartment was darling! Looking forward to coming back.

Fabulous in Florence

This is a wonderful apartment if you are looking to stay in a neighborhood setting. Only a 10-15 min walk to train station and most of city center during the day and surrounded by local restaurants in the evening. Stefano was a great host!

Perfect place to stay in Florence!

We loved staying at this apartment and in this cute quiet area across the river. Easy to walk and get taxis wherever you needed to go. The hosts were so kind and responsive before and during the trip. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of places to eat, get groceries and shop nearby. I would stay here again. The most amazing stay ever. The host was so so lovely and gave us heaps of recommendations and easily contactable. The apartment was absolutely stunning and in perfect condition. We had everything the 6 of us needed plus more. Will definitely be revisiting if I ever get the chance to again.

Amazing Stay in Florence

Stefano and Antonella were great and gracious hosts. We wanted to experience the Italian people along with the Italian culture and their zest for life. This location helped make this happen as we felt as those we were actually living in Florence in this Altrano neighborhood. Everything is close by. Again...amazing plus the air conditioning was a big plus. Thank you, Eric and Marcia.

Sweet Home was a truly sweet home

An absolutely wonderful vacation stay with exceptional hosts. The location is great, a short walk from everything and lively but without the hordes on the other side of the Duomo. The unit has all the charm you would expect and is bigger than the pictures make it seem. For those who want to cook, the kitchen is nicely stocked. All the rooms have A/C and there is even a washing machine, which was very convenient. Finally, Stefano and his wife were truly helpful and gracious hosts. I wish I could give this property six stars.

The perfect accommodation for our trip to Florence. Super clean and spacious. We were travelling with a 6 month old baby and Stefano made sure we had everything we needed. Baby cot, high chair etc. When we arrived Stefano and his wife welcomed us and gave us many great recommendations for supermarkets, restaurants and sight seeing. When we return to Florence we would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect for exploring the city and away from the busy tourist areas.

EXCELLENT stay. WONDERFUL host. GREAT location

Many kind thanks to Antonella for her warm welcome, her many recommendations, and assistance with parking. Our stay was wonderful. The apartment is spacious, airy, clean and very well outfitted with fast wireless, good sheets and towels, plenty of reading material, and a kettle, toaster, caffeteria as advertised. It was also evident that the host goes the extra - there were boxes of cereal jams and candies for us, which we greatly appreciated. The apt was also quiet at night, and we slept well on comfortable beds. Many thanks. HIGHLY recommended.

Excellent apartment in a renovated mediaeval building. Stefano and Antonietta were helpful, friendly and responsive. We loved the busy, noisy, trendy young neighbourhood Piazza Trilussa in Trastevere-- but be aware that the street below does not become quiet before 2 am. The bath and toilet perched above one bedroom were difficult to get into for older, less mobile people. The other shower is in a cramped toilet, but perfectly adequate. We stayed with our three adult children. We loved the place and recommend it highly.

We had an amazing experience here! I can't say enough wonderful things about this home. There was enough space that our family with two teenagers were thrilled with their own rooms. Air condition!!! It was hot and this was amazing. Washing machine allowed us to reset during our 2 wk stay in Italy. The restaurant and gelato recommendations were perfect; a grocery store right around the corner was nice. Great neighborhood, easy walk to and from the train station and all other tourist spots. My wife went running all around the area. The hosts were great and were easy to talk with. We'd love to go back here again!
