Spectacular views of the bay and sunset. Very close to restaurants as well as the Assateague Island National seashore. Can book a scenic boat tour from Wave Island adventures and board just steps from the house. The house is well stocked with everything you would need. Highly recommend this property and Chincoteague Island for a relaxing vacation.

Great stay

We really enjoyed this house. It is in a great location and we could walk to so many things and we really enjoyed the porches and view.

Great space and location

We had a great time here as a family for a few days. The house has a lovely view and is in walking distance to a good number of local restaurants and shops.

Great Place, Great Location!

Cute little cottage close to all the places in downtown! Easy trip to the beach with a short drive! We walked to the coffee shop for breakfast every morning!

Nice Stay

C-Ray Cottage was the perfect fit for a long weekend for out family of 4. The kids were able to crab right in the bay. The area was quiet even though it was right near the road.

Relaxing getaway

Perfect cottage for a relaxing getaway. The view from the back yard was beautiful and you could walk to two coffee shops nearby. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We totally enjoyed our stay C Ray

Anniversary vacation

We enjoyed the wild horses on the island and enjoyed the boat ride to see the wild horses also. We also went to the beach everyday and ate sea food at captain jacks Restraunt and several other local restaurants which were good. Enjoyed the sunsets at the cottage!!!!

Fantastic, quaint Cottage - Recommend

This quaint little cottage was adorable and perfect for our 30th anniversary getaway. Great views and wonderful porch for morning coffee. Easy walk to Steamers & Island Creamery. Easy drive to the beach. We rented bikes and rode them to the bike beach access, which was secluded and fantastic!

Short stay.

House is a advertised. Loved the views from the backyard. Went to Tangier Island. Two places to catch the ferry. Excellent quick getaway.

Quaint, cozy, perfect spot for sunsets

Great location, quiet, supplied with everything you need. Will definitely return to this quaint cottage-like setting. If you are lucky, as I was, you’ll get lots of Chincoteague history from a nearby neighbor. (Don’t forget your personal toiletries.)

Cute house with really nice views of the water out back

We had a great time renting this house... the location was great (easy walking distance to the Main St. restaurants and shops) and we enjoyed the beautiful water view out the back. Do be aware that if you are using the second bedroom, the layout is such that anyone sleeping in the master bedroom will have to walk through the second bedroom to get to the front living area or the bathroom.

We have been staying in Chincoteague for over 30 years. We usually camp at Tom's Cove. Since selling the camper we have rented various houses and cottages. The C-Ray is our favorite. The cottage was perfect for 2, well maintained, and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We were close to stores and dining; and enjoyed the view of the bay while having a fresh cup of coffee on the front and back screened porches. The sunsets were amazing. We did not want to leave.

Great Little Home

We loved staying at the C-ray cottage. Checkin was a breeze and all communication was excellent. Upon arrival the home was cute and very clean. It is well appointed and has pretty much everything you will need for a great stay. As advertised the ceilings are low but it was not an issue at all. The home is so convenient to shops and restaurants. We walked the town and found some amazing places to eat. The home is a short drive to the beach which was very nice as well. Saved the best for last. The views are amazing in the evenings. Best sunsets we have had at any rental. We will be staying here again.

Great spot for a romantic getaway

This little house was the perfect spot for my wife and I to spend some time away from our son and dog. The location is excellent with beautiful views of the bay and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. I will say that the description of the floor plan does not make it quite clear that you have to walk through the second bedroom in order to get to the only bathroom and the master bedroom. Since it was just my wife and I, it wasn't a problem. However, it would not have worked if our young son was with us as he would not have slept well with us moving through his room to get out of ours or to use the bathroom. Overall had a great experience on the island and would love to go back in the future.

Cozy spot

This was our second year renting the cottage. It’s in a nice spot with very little traffic. Out back you have a nice view of the water and boats passing in the evening. While small, it is the perfect spot to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

Wonderful Little Cottage!

We had a great time in the SeaRay Cottage! It's a great place for a small family or couple. The master bedroom is spacious and has lots of natural lot. The second bedroom acts as a hallway to the bathroom and master bedroom, but it was never an issue. We could tiptoe through after our kids were asleep. Pros: Great Location Water-Front Beautiful View Amazing Sunsets Two screened in porches Full Kitchen (no dishwasher) Wifi Smart TV Washer and Dryer Cons: Bathroom Ceiling is low, you have to bend over to wash your hair if you are over 6 feet tall. AC in front room had a hard time keeping up in the heat of the day

Very small but great backyard views

This home has extremely low ceilings and windows, which is quite disorienting. I am 5’10 and my head actually touched the ceiling in the bathroom. I wish we had been warned about this because it was claustrophobic at times. The AC window units were very loud which made it difficult to hear the television. The view off the backyard was beautiful and great for birdwatching. My son had a wonderful time fishing and crabbing in the backyard. I wouldn’t stay at this home again because of the size but the location was great.

Wonderful Cottage

The location of the cottage is perfect. It’s close to nearby shops and restaurants, and the sunset views are gorgeous. The living area is very nice and comfortable, and we took advantage of both screened in porches. I wish the guest room wasn’t connected to the master, as you have to walk through it to get to the shared bathroom, but this is minor. I loved the house and can definitely see coming back!
