The road noise is identical for the condo developments on either side of us, which are 3 times to nightly price. A new toll road had been opened which more trucks are using which has cut down on the noise. The of the ocean is spectacular and there's not much to see out the front door of the condo, so we usually keep the front door closed, and the deck sliders wide open, and the noise never bothers us. Flat screen TV works great as described - DVD player for movies and HDMI plug in for streaming other shows from a laptop. Internet works great for that. BBQ should be really simple to use and property management confirms the propane tank is full in between each guest. There are is a full set of cooking pots & pans, but we've just purchased additional so if guests would like to cook a feast using more pots & pans, they have plenty to use. The AC in the living room just needed servicing, which has been done & works perfectly. Anything guests ever need while they are there, we are quick to respond.

Missing the reminder on my calendar to send the lockbox code was completely my fault – no excuses, but my mother passed away in February, I was dealing with planning a virtual memorial, we have 2 kids home not in school due to Covid, and work was crazy. In ~7 yrs of being VRBO landloards with this condo I have missed sending the lockbox code a day before checkin – this was one. And the simple solution was security called our property manager, as they know to do for any issues, and this renter had the code within ~15 minutes. I’ve since added check in dates to my wife’s calendar and property manager – it won’t happen again. Sorry to hear about the cockroach – not to dismiss it, but that’s not specific to our condo. They exist in Mexico and can occasionally be seen in the most expensive of resorts. We purchased every single piece of furniture in this condo brand new when we purchased it ~7 yrs ago, including the expensive organic memory foam mattress, new couches, chairs, TV, refrigerator, new stove, etc. Yes, the cabinets are older and we’ll replace them when we have the money to remodel soon, but they’re in perfectly functional condition and I beg to differ that dated cabinet doors make our place “the worst condo”. There is an entire set of extra sheets, bedding, blankets, pillows, etc inside the storage of the pullout couch – that is mentioned in our check in email. Sorry this renter couldn’t find those, but the blankets are there for extra guests to sleep on the pullout, or if they’re watching TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils, knives, pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, toaster, etc.

We always email guests the room number, and the lock box code, 24-48 hrs before check in. Steve did not check his email, but the information was sent and email is how it's usually done with VRBO. Our listing clearly states the TV is for movies or streaming from the roku or wireless device only - the internet works great and it's easy to do. The TV is a color TV - it must have been mistakenly switched to black & white, and had the guest asked for help on this, we would have easily been able to assist. We've let our property manager know to do a better job of monitoring the batteries in the remote. The stove is brand new this year, works perfectly, and has never had any problem..... the oven however did have a circuit issue, even though it's a brand new - we ordered a replacement part and anyone looking to do any baking will be able to. Extra bedding for the pullout is inside the storage compartment under the pullout cushions - they are there & they are clean. Had the guest asked about them, we would have let them know where to find them. Toilet & sink are working perfectly. Anything guests ever need, all they need to do is communicate and we are here to help. The condo development next door has cable TV for 3X's the night price. Las Olas is the best value in all of San Jose Del Cabo and for a little over $100/night, it's the best location in Cabo if your priority is a nice pool, surf, ocean access, views, and nice people. Our condo is entirely new furniture in the last 3 yrs, clean, comfortable, and most people love it! :)
