ALOHA OG VELKOMMEN TIL HALE KAI # 108

Hale Kai # 108, vores "hjem ved havet", blev indrettet for at afspejle charmen i gamle Hawaii, men med alle hjemmets bekvemmeligheder - fladskærms-tv, dvd-afspiller, gratis wi-fi, et fuldt udstyret køkken og alt sengetøj stillet til rådighed.

Vores Lanai ser ud på Stillehavet og Honokowai Park. Svømning, snorkling, windsurfing og tidepooling er få skridt væk på vores strand. Skildpadder fodrer vores rev. Solnedgange og hvalsafari er populære aktiviteter på Hale Kai.

Vores køkken blev ombygget i 2011 med alle nye apparater, travertinegulve og granit bordplader. Badeværelset indeholder en overdimensioneret walk-in bruser.

The kitchen was well furnished with plenty of dishes and cookware. Faces the afternoon sun so fortunate there was a shade screen to roll down. Screen was torn a little and as soon as we mentioned it, someone was out to fix it. Location is walkable to many coffee and food spots. Easy to forget about the pool from this unit since you don't see it from your door but it's great!

Would book again!

Perfect location on calm beach next to park. Unit was clean and exactly as advertised. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of linens for our stay. Very happy and would book again!

Quiet and intimate place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We like this property. It is small and quiet. Only two stories, so not a lot of traffic or noise. The private pool is awesome with a small private beach also. It is right next to a public park with great beach and water access. We enjoyed watching the turtles, one even came on the beach for a while! And we also enjoyed whale watching and snorkeling. I highly recommend this property. Everything in the kitchen was well stocked. It would be nice if more toilet paper were supplied instead of only two rolls and we have to buy more. With the price of the unit, (not cheap, but reasonable) it would seem that TP could be provided.There were two fans, which we desperately needed, and there was a snorkel and mask, a cooler, beach chair for our use.

It can get very hot as there is no AC, so a fan or two would help to mitigate this. Melody was very responsive to emails and bent over backwards to help me out, which was very much appreciated. The location is perfect with a park right next door which has small tide pools for the little kids. The is also beach access with larger waves on the other side of the complex. We felt very comfortable and safe at the condo. The office staff was very accommodating and helpful. Great place to stay! We are already booking next year.

Wonderful spot

Hale Kai is a wonderful location. When🤘the wind was blowing the pool was awesome and when it was calm the beach was right out my door. Everything I needed was close enough to walk to. If there wasnt a toddler upstairs wailing and running around the entire time, it would have perfect. I love kids but next time I book, it will not be on the bottom floor. Live and learn!! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in good shape, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing vacation. Affordable Condo in Maui by the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I loved our stay at Hale Kai 108. The complex is very nice. It has a very homey feel, not like a high end resort. Kitchen and bathroom have been renovated. Best of all, it is close to all the great things to do on the west side of Maui.Pool is great, beach access is great. We saw a sea turtle in the water while sitting by the pool. Most the other amenities are as described. Did not use the TV, but it looked like what was described. The one amenity lacking, was that the WiFi did not work. Manager said it was some problem with the ISP. Not a problem for us as we were able to get the internet service we needed from our mobile phones.We loved it so much we recommended it to friends who have since stayed here.

Pleasant Visit Again, Condo needs some TLC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This will be our second time in #108 and the only reason we returned to this unit was for an additional guest and the price. First, the location of Hale Kai is remarkable. It is in Honokowai, which is a pleasant community. The property is well kept up and clean. The pool (right on the ocean) is a bonus. Having the buffer of the park next door is nice. The cons of the property are the long term RENTERS (not owners) that are there - some are less than desirable (for example 210/106) and inconsistent smoking policy. Also, they advertise WiFi, but it's lacking and at times hard to get a signal in the suite.The unit needs some TLC (paint, updating, etc). The kitchen was recently done and is nice. The TV is so tiny that we hardly watched it at night (several other guests mentioned this too). Furniture is really dated. We won't stay in this unit again BUT have booked at Hale Kai for next year.
