Please know we took your comment very seriously. Making sure the house is clean and safe for our guests is our number one priority. It means a lot to us to have happy, satisfied guests and we are sincerely sorry that you were not. With this in mind, we did have our pest professional go out. We also had all of the linens laundered and a through cleaning of the house. We are not sure what your bites actually were as the pest inspector was NOT able to find any evidence of bed bugs. We suspect that it must have been something else. We very much appreciate your candor and have taken the steps necessary to ensure that the home does not have an infestation. Routine pest control has been in place since 2006. Again, we are sincerely sorry.

So glad that you enjoy the island. It is a special location. Please know that we are working hard to get the furniture updated. We would be happy to let you know when new couches come in. We do hope you will be come regulars!!!

Mark, You failed to mention that you were compensated very well regarding your stay. As far as the storm damage goes, which took many of the screens and soffits down you do know that living on an island things can not happen overnight. The tv's ended up working fine once we could get comcast to go out to island. Sorry that the island was just not for you!!

Dave, So sorry to hear that your stay was not enjoyable. We had a bad storm come thru right before your arrival. This home is rented constantly and people all love it. There was no notes on door of fridge or the bathrooms. If the toaster did not work all you had to do was call and we would have gotten you a new one. The microwave works and so does the washing machine. The showers all worked and plumber went out for the one having some trouble and replaced cartridge Sorry to say but Island life is just not for you.
