We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores and at our stay at Sandpiper 14B. The unit is very nice and well equipped. The location, directly over the pool, is ideal. As wonderful as it is, there are a few things that need taken care of, although they are minor in comparison to the overall niceness of the unit. The A/C filter needs changed badly. It's completely covered with a thick layer of dust and is probably effecting the efficiency of the unit. The gadgets in a drawer in the kitchen is well stocked, but the can opener does not work well at all, and that's something that's needed if you cook often. Also regarding the kitchen, the stove could be upgraded. It is functional, but is not very appealing, and with that being a fairly large expense, I can see where they might want to hold off as long as it works good. Another small thing, there is a light over the shower in the master bath, but it does not work. I assume it's just a bulb out since there are only 2 switches and one operates the other light and the 2nd operates the exhaust fan. Again, these things are not meant to be critical of the unit, it is very nice; just a few things I noticed that might be addressed to make it a little better. Still loved the stay!
