Dette sommerhus på Secret Point er svaret på alle dine feriebehov! Uanset om du bare vil slappe af og nyde den fantastiske udsigt, tage en svømmetur fra kajen eller lade børnene lege på kysten, mens du sidder ti meter væk på en fantastisk gårdhave med en drik i hånden, dette sted har det hele. Tag din båd og tag nogle vandsport, skyde en runde golf, hvor vores hjem får dig til at føle, at du aldrig bør forlade.

Det klimatiserede sommerhus har tre queensize-senge og en dronning til ekstra gæster. To komplette badeværelser, det ene med et badekar / brusebad, det andet med et regnbruserhoved, blædetørrer og glattejern leveres også. Fuld køkken komplet med bevægelig ø, udstyret med alle dine madlavningsmaterialer gryder / pander, plader / skåle, mikroovn, kaffekande, brødrister, blender, kedel, krydderier og MERE !!

Vaskemaskine / tørretumbler og strygejern. Elektrisk pejs, gratis wifi, tv med dvd-afspiller Samt flere DVD-film at vælge imellem. Sommerhuset har to udvendige dæk samt tre udendørs niveauer af underholdende områder. Alt sammen med liggestole og havemøbler til at tage i hele solen! Den BEDSTE funktion er det STORE gårdhaveområde lige ved vandet med det største udendørs rum på Secret Point. Privat bouy kun til brug af hytte 12 lejere, så lad os vide det inden hånden, hvis du planlægger at medbringe en båd såvel som størrelsen på båden. BBQ leveres såvel som nogle udendørs sjove forsyninger (rør, snusket, vandpistoler ...)

Dette smukke sommerhus ligger kun tyve minutter fra centrum af Kelowna og fem minutter fra Lake Okanagan resort, som er åben for offentligheden.

Garbage: So as not to attract bears and wildlife, no garbage and recycling can be left outdoors for even short periods of time or you will be charged.

Great lakefront getaway

We had a magical week here, highly recommend it. The 3 beds were very comfy but if you have more than 6 people bring an inflatable mattress, the sofa bed is not as comfortable.

Awesome location! Well managed by host.

Very well equipped and cared for. Host is easy to deal with. A wonderful place for a party of four or more. All the features and amenities are top notch. We had a wonderful family vacation there.

Beautiful Property... Gorgeous Location

Our stay was very enjoyable. The property was as described. Clean and well equipped. Location is perfect... close enough to town if needed but far enough away from all the busyness. Our hosts were great.

Property was as expected. Be sure to read other reviews. Worked out great as we were only 2 couples so we stayed in 3rd floor master and they stayed on lowest level as wood floors are quite squeaky, which we knew going in. Great location for our getaway with friends!

Great property with very friendly owners

Overall experience was great. The cabin was actually a bit more spacious than we had anticipated with three full bedrooms and two nice couches. The biggest advantage is that this one has air conditioning unlike one of the other units we stayed in (a must for the summer when its mid 30's outside). David was extremely helpful and it was nice that he doesn't charge extra to use the boat lift. The patio areas were awesome as well. Only concern was the overall strata / condo board. There are some older folks who live in these cottages and definitely want you to respect the 11pm quiet time. Nothing but good things to say about this specific condo and owner though.

PHOTOS MISLEADING

The property itself was fine, but in the photos the owners purposely cut out the severely damaged dock system directly in front of the property. You are unable to swim safely and have to go 100 feet in either direction to avoid swimming through a serious hazard (broken wood, nails, screws, etc..) We had small children and teens with us and this was a massive inconvenience and was not disclosed at the time of the booking nor can it be found anywhere on the listing. It is totally wrong of the owners to not disclose a hazard like that.

Secret Squeaky cottages

Lovely setting with chilaxing vibes set in beautiful lakeside lapping waters. Serenity. ++ stairs, not for the immobile! ++ squeaky floor boards which you hear anytime a person moves around. Basics supplied missing a few items. But aspect made up for the enjoyment. Closely set would be different if busy. Owner replied instantly when we couldn’t get wifi connected. Helpful and easy to communicate with.

OK, but not great.

Our group had an ok stay at this cottage, but a number of things kept it from being great. Of note: - The decks require some maintenance. There are spots where vegetation (some with thorns) was seriously growing through the decks, and the solar lighting on the stairs was not working. This made going up the deck stairs at night quite daunting. - There are many photos on this listing that are out of date. The photo with the wooden dining table, the photo of the green bedroom with grey bedspread, and the photo of the striped living room chairs are either not of this unit, or are old photos from before the rooms were updated. These photos make it appear that there are extra bedrooms or living spaces that the unit doesn’t actually have, making the house seem larger than it actually is. - The dock was under construction during our stay. We were not notified that there would be construction noises throughout the weekdays, which was 2 of 3 of the days we had booked. Loud drilling and banging made conversations on the outside decks impossible. - The sofa bed is very uncomfortable for sleeping, and even sitting on it as a couch wasn’t great. The location is nice, right on the lake, but the unit requires some maintenance and the listing needs to be updated, as transparency is very important when booking a vacation rental.

Amazing as Always!

Have been to this property many times over the years and love bringing different family and friends to enjoy its beauty. Kitchen always has the basics needed. Plenty of towels and bathroom supplies to go around. Access to the lake is unbeatable! Hosts are always reachable and so friendly. Highly recommend for a family or friends trip!

Nice cottage

This is a nice well-equipped cottage with a lovely outlook. The kitchen has everything we needed and the beds were comfy. The cottage has quaint but squeaky flooring - beware light sleepers! The weather was cold and rainy so we didn’t get to use the decks but they looked fabulous! Unfortunately, the docks are under construction which meant limited parking, noisy construction and no swimming. They were still taking the docks apart when we were there so I expect it will be this way for awhile! On the plus side Lisa and Dave were very helpful and understanding. So, not a 5 star but lovely.

Great option if travelling with a boat

Property is as advertised. The communal dock was under repair while we were there (August 2021) so it should be in great condition for future renters once completed. If you are travelling with a boat it is a great option as the mooring buoy is well positioned and worked well. The trailer storage lot is just a few meters north of the main entrance to the property across the road. If you have a boat, I would suggest pulling off the main road into the pullout right before the main entrance upon initial arrival and walk to the cabin to retrieve the key for the storage lot first. I would recommend using the provincial boat launch at Fintry and not the one at Okanagan resort as it is terrible (very steep with lots of rocks). On the water fuel is available at Okanagan resort however so that is super convenient as it is only a few minute boat ride away. Owners were very attentive to any questions and were very easy to contact. Due to safety concerns with the evolving wildfire situation, we had to unfortunately leave early. The owners were very understanding and accommodating. They agreed to provide a partial refund due to the situation which was great. I would not hesitate to rent this property again!

4th time

This is our fourth time visiting the property, first time with children. We had a great time and my toddler (3) handle all the stairs quite well. The lake was a welcome reprieve from the heat this time around. Would recommend.

Great time, again!

Stayed here before with a group of ladies and had a great time. Booked again with a close group of friends and had a lovely time. Great location, great property and great neighbours in the other units. The hosts were easy to communicate with and everything was perfect. Hope to stay here again in the future.

September 2019 Stay

Positives: Beautiful view of the lake; nice separation of bedrooms; adequate appliances; quiet and private. Negatives: Property needs thorough cleaning; bedding and towels are old; lots of steps from parking to property; disposing of trash is a hassle.

Private, Lakeside with Beautiful Views

Pros & Cons! Pros: View The view from this cabin is absolutely stunning. The pictures don't even do the views justice of how breathtaking the views of lake Okanagan are from this place. It's such a peaceful atmosphere and waking up to the birds singing was such a treat! Because the cabin is on the westside of the lake on a cliff you get the beautiful sunrise and a lot of shade throughout the day to keep the space cool and not too hot. Pros: Cozy & Cottage-Like Feel, Clean and Well-Stocked (Pictures accurate) The pictures of the space are accurate of what it looks like inside. It's cozy and makes you feel close with your family. There are 4 or 5 large patio decks well-equipped with lots of lawn chairs and patio furniture as well as some lake toys and life-jackets. The decks are unbelievable! The bathrooms are clean and the water pressure is fantastic. We had 6 people staying and no one had any issue with the hot water running out or the pressure being slow. The bathrooms were great! Kitchen appliances were decent - the stove doesn't get very hot (but that's ok) but otherwise the appliances work just fine. The space was absolutely perfect for my family! Pros: Wildlife Being further up lake Okanagan and on a cliff there was a plethora of wildlife that made our stay really fun and interesting. We saw deer, gofers, big horn sheep, and even a beaver! Cons: Dock Located on a cliff, we were very happy to be directly on the lake (this was important for my dad who can't handle the heat very much so it was nice for him to be able to join us by the water but easily retreat back into the house where it was cooler). The only disappointment was the boat dock which was broken likely from winter storms. This isn't the owners fault but it would have been nice to know that the dock was broken and not safely useable. Cons: Road to Location The owners are very truthful that the road to the cabin is very windy hugging a cliff. We were aware of this and didn't have any issue with it but want others to know it's important to drive carefully. Cons: Garbage Probably our biggest nuisance and hopefully strata associated fixes this but garbage removal is a hassle. Garbage is located outside of the property, up a dirt road, up a hill. The dumpsters were locked (we had no key) and had to use sheer muscle strength to pry open the lid to throw garbage out responsibly because there are bears in the area. Overall, FANTASTIC!

Beautiful Lakefront Getaway

Gorgeous lakefront home with beautiful interior. It has everything you need and more. David and Lisa were very quick to answer any questions we had. We had a great stay and hope to go back!

great spot, quiet, lakefront. What more could you ask for?

The owners were great, answered any questions we had about the surrounding area. Golfed for three days and toured with the boat into Kelowna. Nice getaway feel. Hopefully we will return again.
