Awesome Resort

This condo was amazing. The furnishings were beautiful and everything was so clean. Our only complaint was if you took long showers (and that was really tempting as the master shower has 3 shower heads) back to back, the hot water would run low, but otherwise it was perfect. Room is close to the elevator. The beach had decent snorkeling and pools were big enough to handle the number of people without being overcrowded. Good selection of restaurants within a short drive. Not sure how you could find a better place unless you got a better deal on the price! The unit is pricey but based on the overall quality it is still a good value. My only suggestion would be to add some baking sheets/ baking pans in the kitchen. Would love to stay there again.

Everything was broken

This property seemed like it was built and no other attention was made. All of the appliances were broken and smelled like mold. As a family, booking a condo is to insure that you can make your own food and clean your clothes which we could do neither. There were left over party balloons left in our room which made me wonder what was actually cleaned. The bed in the master was so hard and uncomfortable that both my partner and I left with excruciating pain in our backs. The WiFi barely worked. The place was advertised with a waterslide that was closed most of the time. We were also notified during our stay that they would be spraying the condo with chemicals while we occupied it to treat for pests. The entire staff was rude and unhelpful. On numerous occasions we were asked for a tip for a simple accommodation which I wouldn’t normally tip for. When we expressed frustration that the dish washer was broken and smelled like mold they said they could spray more chemicals to cover the smell. When I said that wouldn’t fix the washing machine and again mold can’t be fixed with chemicals they acquiesced and sent someone to do the dishes. This place was a waste of money. Super disappointing. Luckily Maui made up for it.

The best vacation home!

Absolutely loved staying in this unit. The condo was beautiful, clean, and looked like it had been updated recently. Amazing high end appliances in the kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for our family of 7. The view of the ocean is so beautiful from there and it was so close to the beach. We kept exploring other beaches and would always end up back on our beach because it was my kids favorite! The waves weren’t too harsh for them and the snorkeling was amazing! It was our favorite snorkel spot. We will be coming back here again.

Great condo, great property, and amazing view!

We had the best stay in this property. The condo is beautiful, the view is unbelievable, and the resort is wonderful. We were so happy with our choice for a family of 6. KBM properties were great as well! They communicated with us before and during our stay to make sure everything was going well and that we were happy. We will definitely be back!

Nice space

This unit had a very nice layout for 6 adults, plenty of space in the main living area for us to all gather to eat and play games. We have stayed at Honua Kai several times, this unit has a nice view to the south, not sunset view, but still nice. This property is close to many dining options and grocery stores. I would definitely book this unit again.

Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at the Honua Kai booked through KBM. Hokulani 204 is absolutely beautiful. The condo and view are even better than the photos. Plenty of room and bathrooms and an exceptional kitchen. Well stocked with towels, pillows, kitchen items and beach toys. This unit is almost as close to the ocean as you can get in this building. It's less than a minute to get from the unit to the closest pool and Duke?s restaurant. Highly recommend!

Most wonderful accommodations

This was the most wonderful accommodations we have stayed at. Super easy booking, everything was just as pictured on line. Easy check in & check out. It felt as if this was our home away from home. We took great care and appreciated all the personal touches that our flat had to offer. Everything was high end & thoughtful for our stay. Would love to stay again at the same flat. Thanks to the owners for sharing their home with us. Also to KBM for their helpfulness with all my questions answered with happiness! The resort staff was also amazing! Thanks to all for making our Maui experience Perfect!

Amazing condo in an amazing complex in an amazing location!

Wow, where to start! My family and I absolutely loved this condominium at this location. I have stayed at the Honua Kai before and it was everything I remembered it to be. And as a former owner of a rental property listed on VRBO, I understand the importance of ensuring your place is well maintained and accurately described...this condo was. The condo was ready early for us, which was useful since we landed in Maui at 9:15 a.m. When we got to the condo, after a Costco run, the bell service helped with all of our luggage and stored our groceries until we could check in. Incredible service! The condo is spacious and well appointed. We all had our own bathroom and plenty of private space to escape. Although most of our time was spent on the lanai! You can hear the ocean from the condo and access to the beach is just steps away. Very convenient for our families with young children. The pool and grounds were beautiful and we all enjoyed walking along the beach walk path on most mornings. A couple of comments and recommendations: We had an issue with the rental car when we arrived. I had asked for a minivan and we were given an SUV, which wouldn't fit our clan of 7 plus luggage. I had to "upgrade" and was charged more than I could have rented through a travel agency. I have not yet addressed this with the management company. We had an issue with beach/pool towels. The dispensing machine was broken in our lobby and the one by the pool was empty (most likely because the one in the lobby was broken). It was quite a walk to get to a towel dispensing machine that actually had towels. The chairs on the lanai could use cushions. They weren't the most comfortable to sit in without cushions. Small issues/recommendations in the grand scheme of the overall experience here. We will definitely be back to this location, this condo. Thanks for sharing your beautiful space! And thank you to the Honua Kai staff for your hospitality and service. Amazing!

This property was gorgeous

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. This unit was beautiful, spacious and worked perfectly for our family of 8 adults and one infant. The second floor location made it easy to come and go from the beach or pool. The ocean view was lovely and our unit was very quiet. The kitchen was will stocked and we enjoyed eating on the very spacious deck . The resort and pools were all very nice. We never had trouble finding pool side chairs. The valet parking was very convenient as well and helpful for our large group and 2 rental cars. We will not hesitate to return here again and to rent from KBM!

Perfect for our family

This property was just perfect for our family stay in Maui. Large bedrooms, Large living area, great kitchen, Superb balcony and view, wonderful to include washer and dryer. This location was also perfect to get to many sites of interest including Lahaina, restaurants. luau, diving, snorkeling, etc. Would definitely recommend to everyone and would go back in an instant, Thanks

not quite as advertised

The on line description shows 3 king size beds, not the case. The patio furniture has no cushions, we contacted KBM about getting some, didn't happen, never heard back. The cheerios under the furniture and in the hall had me wondering how well the place is cleaned between guests.
