The pace slows down, the lake gets wonderfully quiet, and the shoreline comes alive with beautiful fall colors. There’s just something about heading out on the pontoon on a crisp autumn afternoon with hardly anyone else on the water, then coming back as the temperature drops and sinking into the hot tub. Add in the peaceful mornings and cool evenings by the lake, and it’s a completely different experience from summer—and one of our absolute favorite times to be there. Watching the lake in all its beauty. Muskegon has so much to offer as well, from the winter sports complex, speeding down the luge, or enjoying many of the world class restaurants there is always something to do.
