Nice amenities, bed was comfy, lots of little touches to really add to the stay. NO AC! Juat know which unit you get. Wasn't a problem for us, but including as fyi. Ants everywhere inside. It is the tropics. Just put all your food in the fridge.

Ptoperty in good location. Great ocean views.Kitchen well stocked.Unit was clean and well laid out.Cons.Could use air conditioning, got pretty warm in the afternoons. Only one of the 3 hair dryers worked.A lot of the electrical outlets do not work.All in all we had a great time on the island.

Lovely getaway above it all!

We really enjoyed the room, the location, the pool, the walking around, and all of the lovely amenities of the greater Poipu/Koloa region! Beautiful sunsets from the deck, lovely mornings on the deck overlooking the ocean... walk to the awesome parks! Modest, comfy lodgings, just right for our tastes! Thank you, we would def return to this unit!

Steps from the beach!

The location looked great online, but getting there and realizing we truely were a short walk from our place and the beach. It was beautiful.

Poipu views!

Great location and lovely unit that had all the beach gear for us to borrow while there. I was a little worried after reading reviews of other units in the complex said that units weren't all nice (they differ since they owners differ) and the property managers weren't helpful, but we had a great experience overall.

5 days in Poipu

Overall our stay was amazing!! Communication with the property agents was on point everything since I landed was done via text message and someone always responded in a timely manner. Although the property did not have air conditioning there was a ton of fans that kept us cool. Although majority of the time we were out and about, the time we did spend at the property was amazing

The property hasn’t been updated other than TV and internet. Great location but it needs air conditioning and I’m heat tolerant.

Great view and location, unit could use some love

The view and location is AMAZING. Location and walk to baby beach and popou is fantastic. The unit and interiors needed some love. All the rails came off, the boogie boards and chairs were broken/rusted, there was ants in the kitchen, the cookware had lots of scratches, and there was just a strong chemical smell when we came in. Could be really amazing, just needs some love and care.

Great location

Was a little hard to find exact condo in the dark, but we managed fine. Condo has amazing views of ocean, and especially sunsets! Very close walk down to beach and turtle watching. Close to everything we had planned to do! Also close to several restraunts we loved. The one and only drawback was it could use air conditioning. Very warm in late afternoons until the sun set. But with many windows, screens and fans it did cool off after sunset. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Not horrible and not amazing

This place is totally adequate. There’s no huge fault and nothing outstanding either. Some notes, both positive and negative: -The unit is super spacious. The size of the unit is definitely a huge plus -While I understand the grounds are a lot to maintain: someone was weed whacking, mowing the lawn or some other form of loud yard work BY 9am. That being said: the landscape is well maintained. -The lanai is lovely and there is a distant view of the ocean but don’t be mistaken- you’re not ocean front and cannot hear the sound of the waves in this unit -The screen doors to the lanais are constantly coming off the tracks -We had loud and rude upstairs neighbors - no fault, of course, of the management. But the amount we could hear them (full conversation and laughter) may indicate thin walls? -The amount of warnings around the unit warning about leaving sand or red dirt around lest you be charged is overkill -The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes -There is no AC. Some dirty fans are available to push around the hot and sticky air but they only take the edge off -The location is great for beach and main road proximity

Had we know while you were here, we could of asked them to quiet down. Unfortunately, with lush tropical grounds there comes the need for maintenance. The AOAO tries to keep it to a minimum and during the least disturbing times. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are happy to say that we do have units at Nihi Kai with AC, so if that is a needed amenity, we can provide. We look forward to hosting you again soon. Aloha.

Die Unterkunft war einfach wunderschön, die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und ruhig, direkt Meer gelegen und die Aussicht war noch besser, als wir das erwartet hatten. Die Strände vor der Haustür waren alle leicht zu Fuß erreichbar.Wir würden wieder hier herkommen

Very well equipped condo. All the comforts of home. When the lanai sunshade failed to retract a simple phone call resulted in its being replaced by a new one the same day.

The unit is definitely showing its age but it was clean and comfortable. Great location. Beautiful grounds. Disappointed not knowing ahead about the construction and having the pool closed. Very disappointed that we had to self-quarantine and many things were still not up and running or at limited capacity. We don't recall being made aware of this before hand.

I do see we emailed you on the construction and pool closure when we adjusted your rate with the 25% promotional discount. Also, I am not sure why QR codes did not process during your travel, however the Safe Travels program was run by the state and was out of our control. Ultimately, we are glad you were able to finally settle in and enjoy Kauai and Oahu.

The week of September 8th, 2018.

The condo was just OK. It was clean and seemed well cared for. Our main complaint was how hot it got in the afternoon and evening. The Lanai was facing the west and in direct sunlight all afternoon. We did try to keep the sliding shutters closed for much of the day, but then there was no view! Kitchen was good and beds were pretty comfortable. We were very grateful for all the electric fans in the house!!

The property is very well kept. However, it was hard to sleep due to it being so hot.

So hot! No AC! Very hard to sleep at night waking up soaked in sweat. We tried everything to take advantage of any breeze. Our small temp control AC fan had a frayed wire. First day it was "fixed" when you removed from room and never returned it. Miserable due to too hot. Pretty but would not stay again due to this. Ugh!

We loved this condo. It was very close to the beaches and ever night was a great view of south Kauai. Price was resonable. There was no a/c but once windows were open the place remained cool even during the warmest July days.

Poipu is the best, but the room was mediocre. dated and no AC. mattress was not comfortable, but the location was great.

Loved the View

We enjoyed our stay. We were two couples, so we appreciated, each of us having our own bedroom, bath, and tv in each room. The laundry made our month stay much more enjoyable. The lanai with the view and breeze turned out to be our favorite spot. The condo had most everything we needed for casual living.
