Very nice space with lots of outdoor seating areas. The location is great with lots of walkable shops and restaurants. Only watch out is that the stairs are very steep, especially between the first and second floor.

Spacious place but it doesn’t feel homey. It’s essential, that’s it. We were there for family vacation, a getaway, we were there from Saturday to Wednesday. Towels were less than comfortable, no blankets or throws for warmth. By our second day we had to purchase tissue, trash bags, Paper towel and bottled water. The water via the fridge was weak and noisy, hardly pouring. We found crawling bugs inside a pot. The living tv room didn’t work. We reached out to the host and it took 2 days for a response with an apology and continuous instructions to try different methods to fix the issue; it was never resolved. There was only 1 other tv in 1 bedroom. I kept trying to figure out if it hadn’t been rented out for a while, it was so sterile—basic furniture, no chairs in the King room. The Beach, the community itself will keep us coming back but not this specific living quarters.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the home did not fully meet your expectations for your family vacation. Regarding the living room TV, we received your message late Sunday evening, October 11, and responded Monday morning at approximately 9 AM with troubleshooting instructions. We did not receive a follow-up after providing these steps, so we were unable to determine whether the issue persisted or assist further. We’d also like to clarify that, as stated in our listing description, household essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags are provided as starter supplies, and guests are responsible for replenishing them as needed during their stay. We understand that preferences for furnishings, linens, and the overall feel of a vacation home vary from guest to guest, and we recognize that our home may not be the right fit for everyone. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you and your family all the best in your future travels.

Everything was clean. The only issue was us not being able to figure out the TV in the bedroom on the 2nd floor but that could have just been us.

We stayed here for 3 days/4 nights. The house was great for the most part. An unusable lamp in the one bedroom and a broken bathroom door off of the kitchen - easy fixes, but it was clean, had everything we needed and was a close walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The back door area/courtyard was well maintained and pretty. Outdoor shower was wonderful to have. The beds were very comfortable. The noise was a big factor for us as we traveled with a baby and it was hard for her to sleep, but that is no fault of the homeowners, purely the location. During the week it wasn't bad, but it's in a busy part of town so the weekends get pretty loud. Take a noise machine or something for night. Also there are a lot of steep steps, so someone that doesn't do good on stairs may not do good in this house. All in all, we had a great time and would think about staying here again, if needed.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was exceptional from start to finish — responsive, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful in making sure everything was perfect for our visit. Communication was clear and timely, and we felt truly welcomed. The property itself exceeded our expectations. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described (if not better!). The amenities were top-notch — from the fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds to the little extra touches that made it feel like home. Everything we needed was readily available, which made our stay relaxing and stress-free.The location was ideal, and the overall experience was seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway.Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

Clean and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. The house was convenient to the beach and restaurants. At least one full-length mirror would have been nice to have.Unfortunately, the loud revving cars at night were very annoying. That seems to be a big problem in Virginia Beach.

Property is in an excellent location with plenty of room for guest. There was initially no hot water, then the repair person was contacted and fixed it in a reasonable amount of time. Not a major issue however the home requires a new paint job as there are many touch up spots throughout.

Nice place. Dryer was broken and not able to fix during our stay. Did get a credit but it detracted from the experience. Ceilings in multiple rooms either need repair or are being repaired. King beds very comfortable. More towels included would be a step up. Overall enjoyable.

Beautiful House with wonderful amenities Just as described in photos My only two complaints were the lack of extra comforters and pillows in the bedrooms. Also the television sets are outdated and basic cable was just that basic.

Overall good experience

Property was very nice and clean. Adequate space for everyone. As a group of girls who stayed for a long weekend away, we really noticed the lack of mirrors in the house when we needed to get ready. I would suggest putting some cheap floor length mirrors on the inside of the closet doors. The property is right on 264 and sounds like a drag strip at night but that was disclosed in other reviews before booking so we were prepared for it.

Beach House

Overall the house was nice. Not far from the beach and boardwalk. We had a little trouble with one of the neighbors parking in our allotted spot. The only complaint I have is the noise level on the street. It’s a main road and the cars and motorcycles tend to rev their engines flying down the street. There is a naval base near and the jet’s flying across at all hours was also disturbing.

Close to Convention Center and Sports Complex

The property is nice the location is horrible. The traffic on 22nd Street is incredibly loud especially at 1 am in the morning. Cars constantly race up the street with their radios blaring. The tv's in the bedrooms do not work. The bedroom sizes are large and the beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning system keeps the house nice and cool even on the third floor.

Hi Lisa, thank you for the feedback. Yes, those TVs work for streaming purposes only, no cable in the bedrooms. Just a cable box downstairs in the living room. I am sad and disappointed to see we got three stars even though the house itself was up to standards except maybe those tvs. We work extremely hard for 4-5 stars and really hope to have you back to maybe another one of our rentals to earn that rating. Thank you, Sheppard
