Beliggende i det eksklusive Quinta dos Alamos og puttet væk i den mest rolige af cul de sække, er Casa do Moinho. Internt det nyligt renoverede villa tilbyder rummelige værelser med fuld air-condition, WIFI Internet, et veludstyret køkken, komfortable møbler og kan prale alle moderne bekvemmeligheder, som vil gøre din ferie afslappende og problemfri. Eksternt Casa do Moinho har omfattende velplejede græsplæner, som er dejligt afsondret, nyreformet swimmingpool (10x5m) med romerske trin, kan opvarmes (ekstraudstyr) og er omgivet af terrasser. Den har en mursten bygget BBQ med belysning at gøre det lettere at lave mad om natten. Bare en 10 minutters gang fra Guia til Village, Algarve Shopping regioner største indkøbscenter, er et par minutters kørsel væk. Den storslåede strande Gale og Salgados er kun en kort køretur væk, som alle har strandbarer / restauranter og fuld faciliteter.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Brian's villa. Pictures and descriptions are spot on. Villa has everything you need and more. The pool and garden area is a joy. So much space, alot more than most villas, gives it a lovely secluded feeling. Our host Brian's was great and very flexible in our arrival and departure time which really enhanced our stay. We would thoroughly recommend this villa to others and most likely will be back if returning to the area. The villa is well positioned for exploring the area. Short 10min journey to albufeira old town, shopping centre on your doorstep and Guia a short walk.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in this villa it was absolutely amazing and extremely good value for money. Communication with the host was very good and I would definitely book to stay there again.

Lovely spacious villa in beautiful grounds. The villa was well equipped and spotless. Host was very responsive when we had a couple of questions. We paid for heated pool given the time of year and it was well worth it the temperature was perfect. A lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

Just got back from a lovely stay in this gorgeous villa. The open plan living area is a decent size and was lovely and clean when we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of cutlery, crockery, glasses and mugs. There was also tea and sugar and some salt and pepper in the cupboard. There are plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The shower was a hot and powerful too. The master bedroom is huge!The outdoor area is very pretty with lots of seating options. We paid to have the pool heated which worked out well for us because the weather was a little cool during our stay. Any questions I asked the host were answered quickly so communication was great.Overall, I would recommend this villa to anyone travelling to the area and we would stay there again.

Fabulous holiday

3 of us stayed here (all 50+ friends) - suited us perfectly. Excellent villa, very easy to get to, brilliant location, pool and garden really lovely, lots of lovely restaurants within 5-10 mins walk and mini mercado sold pretty much all you would want. Highly recommend will definitely be rebooking again next year.

Perfect choice for holidaying with friends and children

The pool and gardens were private and secure. We ate in the outside dining area the whole week and bbq'd every evening. Eat access to shops and beaches yet far enough away from the resorts and nightlife to enjoy ourselves in a quiet neighbourhood.

Fabulous villa

We had a lovely stay in this villa. Its spacious and beautiful and has everything that you need for the stay. The local village is about 10 mins walk away that has shops and some restaurants. Albufeira itself is about 20 mins away in a taxi. The hosts were exceptional, responded to queries promptly and arranged for us to have an early check in. Cant fault this place ot the hosts

We came here for a 2-week break and had a lovely time. The villa is spacious, and has air con units to keep cool if you want to use them. We also loved that there are fly screens on the doors and windows to stop the unwanted pests coming in.The kitchen is a good size, stocked well, with good range of appliances (2 fridges was great) and a washing machine, which was great for end of holiday as no washing once home. The bathrooms were both good sizes, the showers were very powerful and a great temperature.The bedrooms had nice comfortable beds, although a slight downside is the amount of storage for clothing. There are 10 wardrobes between the rooms, 3 of which can be used for guests. Not the end of the world, but some more space would have been appreciated.The pool is excellent, great size and depth, with easy steps for getting in and out. It bathes in sun all day, so we didn’t pay for the heated pool and are glad we didn’t. It’s cool and refreshing when going in yet you quickly acclimatised to it, so you feel just right.The patio area by the house is lovely and comfy. We did use the stone table and benches but be cautious as they are a little rickety and have seen better days. Still lovely to eat out on them though. The garden area is also beautiful and makes for a relaxing view whilst eating and chilling on the patio. Ursula was very responsive to any minor issues.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at the villa, and in Guia, and would stay again in the future.

Peaceful and relaxing

The Villa is very private with a good size garden/lawn area. Lovely pool and lots of outdoor space. The villa is well equipped in the kitchen, and an outside BarBQ. All in all, clean and well presented!

Beautiful Villa

A perfect villa, the photos dont do it justice. Lots of little added touches which were very thoughtful. Gardens and pool were beautiful. Rooms exceptionally comfortable and air con worked a treat! We had a car and that definitely helped, though there were a few restaurants within walking distance. We also made use of the Ubers which were readily available and about 7 to take us into Albufeira Marina! Lovely break, looking forward to coming back in October.

A great villa

The villa was great with a nice outdoor space and pool. The villa was clean and tidy and check-in was straight forward. It was not the villa’s fault but there was construction going on most days the other side of the fence. Obviously this may be a temporary thing but if you wish for a peaceful time you may want to check. The kitchen was well equipped and the master bedroom with en-suite was very spacious.

Stunning villa

Not a bad word to say. The place is simply beautiful. One week here just wasn’t long enough. In a quiet little area with amenities within walking distance. The pool and large garden area was thoroughly enjoyed by all, especially our two young boys! The owners seem very friendly and helpful, sending recommendations for places to go that the kids would enjoy and responding to messages quickly. The villa itself is lovely and has everything you need. I can’t fault it, just perfect. Thank you and we can’t wait to book again.

Excellent property!

Lovely house , in a quiet residential area, but within a mile of shops, cafes etc. Large very private garden , with beautiful plants. Lovely swimming pool. As we went in November for 3 weeks, we paid extra for heating it. The owners were easy to contact if advice etc needed. Cant think of anything the house lacked. There was an Airfryer, cooker, dishwasher, washing machine , tumble dryer, 2 fridges etc etc. Would recommend this property.

Second visit, not dissapointed, will book again

This was our second stay at the villa. We love it because it ticks many boxes for us and our friends. . The garden is completely secure, with two young children to keep an eye on it gives us a great deal of peace of mind. The pool is lovely and worth the cost of paying for heating as we were in and out of it all day, and lovely for the children to keep warm. Large garden, great facilities, close to a fantastic supermarket and an easy drive to the coast. The owners are easily contactable and very obliging.

Another fantastic stay at this amazing villa - this was our second stay and it was even better than before - Brian and Ursula should be very proud of their property and the work they have put in. The changes they have done since last year really made a difference e.g. upgrading the AC in the room my daughter used, the addition of an outside sofa was a big hit with my mother, and the upgraded pool heating was a real benefit. We can’t recommend this property enough and we will be booking it again soon. We were informed of building work next door which was really upfront of Ursula and we were expecting quite a lot of noise and disruption, however this was not the case and we only heard the builders working 7 of the 14 days we were there and with our outside speaker playing music we heard very little noise from them. It’s a lovely property, with everything you could possible need in a fantastic area.

The best villa holiday we have had!

We have just come back from staying at this villa. The communication before we arrived was great, and even arranged for us to check in slightly earlier. The villa was spacious with good size rooms and pool. The garden was something else, lots of space and not overlooked. Lots of sun beds, a couple of umbrellas and ample seating. We had a couple of BBQ’s whilst we were there. The kitchen had every gadget and utensil you could ever need. We walked into Guia a couple of evenings for food to sample the famous chicken that everyone says is the best in Guia! We did hire a car, that we used during the day, but we used Ubers on an evening to get to Galé and Albufeira Old town, they cost around 7 one way. Overall, one of the best villas we have stayed in, in Portugal. We will be back soon!

Wonderful villa

Located approx 15min drive from albufeira old town on a private estate sits this lovely villa with its own large pool. The villa is large and spacious, well equipped, with air conditioning in every room. The villa has a new sofa to that of the one in the photo and has been updated. The directions given were spot on, and found the property with ease. The owners were quick to respond to any questions i had. Mini market and local restaurants 5min drive away. I would suggest a car to get around. Zoomarine is 5mins away, where you can swim with dolphins. It has a wave pool and beach with lots of water rides. The location is peaceful, so nice to come back to after a days outing.

Fabulous pool and spacious villa

The vllla was clean and tidy on arrival and the pool was amazing but the beds were hard which made sleeping difficult as the air conditioning had seen better days and that also kept us awake at night. The stone garden furniture was cracked in a few places and not fixed to each other which made that rather dangerous and the orange covers on the other chairs had seen better days but the worst thing about the villa is the washing machine has no top to it which is really dangerous if you have children with you. The gardeners and cleaners were friendly and location was so peaceful. This villa needs some money spent on it to get it up to a good standard then it will perfect 👍

I live in Ireland with my wife and three children, we holiday in Casa do Moinho as often as we can, normally about three times a year, we love the area where the villa is, as its so close to the restaurants but very private.

We found Guia to be delightful village with a lot to offer and just knew this was the area for us , whether you're interested in sampling delicious food, exploring beautiful beaches, or enjoying family-friendly attractions, Guia has something for everyone.

Guia is often referred to as the "Chicken Piri Piri Capital" due to its abundance of restaurants specializing in this fiery dish. The restaurants in Guia are known for serving some of the best and most authentic chicken piri piri in Portugal.

Guia is conveniently located near several stunning beaches, including Praia dos Salgados and Praia da Galé Oeste. These beaches offer pristine sands, crystal-clear waters, and a variety of water sports.

Algrave shopping is a large shopping center is located in Guia and offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. It's a great place to spend a day shopping and dining.

Zoomarine is popular theme park is also located in Guia and offers a variety of marine-themed attractions, including dolphin shows, seal performances, and aquariums. It's a great place for families with children.

In 2006 we took a leap of faith and purchased a charming villa just a short stroll from the charming villa of Guia. Nestled amidst a cul de sac of Quinta dos Alamos, Casa do Moinho has become my sanctuary, a place where time slows down and worries melt away.
From the moment we first laid eyes on it we knew we had found something special. The lush gardens surrounding the villa are a riot of color, with vibrant flowers and fragrant herbs. The swimming pool, sparkling under the Portuguese sun, is the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day.
Over the years, Casa do Moinho has become more than just a vacation home; it's a place where we have created countless cherished memories. We have hosted unforgettable gatherings with friends and family, celebrated birthdays and anniversaries, but most importantly we have watched our children grow up and simply enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
As I look back on the years, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to own such a special place. Casa do Moinho is not just a building; it's a piece of my heart.
