Loved our stay at San Giovanni. Great location, close to the Colosseum with lots of restaurant options just steps away. Fabulous sunroom with beautiful views, however the downside was the inability to open the glass windows to fully experience the benefits of this area. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and with 3 bathrooms, it was the perfect space for 3 couples. I was unfamiliar with the check in process through Vikey and was a little skeptical about providing our passport information online. However, after researching this, it is confirmed to be a legitimate practice that is required by law in Italy. I appreciated the quick response by the hosts and would highly recommend this location and would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you and your group enjoyed your stay at San Giovanni and appreciated the apartment's location, spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, and the convenience of having three bathrooms. It's also great to know that the sunroom and its views were among the highlights of your stay. Regarding the online check-in, we can confirm that it is a secure process, as our system is connected to the Italian Police portal for the mandatory registration of guests. Most of all, we are grateful for your kind words about our responsiveness. It was a pleasure assisting you, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We would be thrilled to welcome you back to Rome on your next visit!

Great location!

Apartment is perfectly placed just a few blocks from the colosseum. Our family spent two days there ahead of our cruise and there are also a ton of great restaurants. We found Pizza Forum and had the best pizza ever at that location. Host clearly communicated and everything was great!

Great apartment with a great location. Pictures need to reflect a more accurate depiction of the actual area of the apartment. Not as much space as the pictures show. The living room area is actually also the outside area. But all around still a great location for colosseum visit / viewing.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to confirm that the apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, including the layout of the living area. Also we would like to point out that the exterior room is equipped with an air conditioning unit that also functions as a heater, which guests are welcome to use to warm the space. You have been 7 days in the apartment but you never asked us information about the existing heating. There a big paper on the apartment door, where are 3 Reception telephone numbers to call in case on help or problem. And you never called us. It was a pleasure hosting you. 5 of us stayed (2 couples and 1 friend) for 3 nights. It was a great apartment - we thought the location might be too far from the city center - but it was perfect! The apartment was quiet and each room in the apartment was quiet. We loved sitting on the terrace/watching the colors change - sunrise, sunset, etc. We loved our stay!!

Beautiful apartment minutes from the Collusum

Nice apartment in a great location—just a few minutes' walk from both the Colosseum and the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano. The rest of the city was easily accessible, either on foot or with a short cab ride. The only drawback was that the main living area was an outdoor terrace. While it was lovely in the early morning or evening, it did get quite hot during the middle of the day.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Communication with the host was excellent, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free.
