Just back from our second visit to the chalet this summer - me, my husband and our 2 dogs. We love it here, it’s a real home from home in the mountains! The chalet is really well equipped and comfortable and the view of the mountains from the garden is stunning, missing it already and can’t wait to come back again next year.

Our 3rd visit to this beautiful chalet, excellent location, stunning views from the garden also with a hot tub.l! The chalet is very well equipped, clean and tidy with all of the home comforts you need. Me, my husband and my 2 dogs love it here it’s like our home from home in the mountains. Excellent communication from the property owner, easy check in process. Highly recommend staying here.

What an amazing host and property. The host, Amanda, was super communicative and helpful. The property was very well stocked and came with a lot of nice amenities and space for everyone to spread out. Having separate bathrooms and robes was so nice as was the outdoor space, hot tub, sauna and ping pong table. The house’s location was perfect and probably better than being in Chamonix. It was not crowded and yet a super quick drive to town. All you need in terms of shopping and restaurants was also in Les Houches. There is great horseback riding minutes from the house too. I highly recommend! We were two adults and two kids (14 and 12). Enjoy!

We had a blast!!! We would give this chalet a ‘6’ rating if we could! Everything was wonderful!!! Hot tub great for aching muscles after skiing! Excellent communication which made everything super smooth! Definitely return!

Our 2nd stay at this wonderful Chalet, albeit 10 years apart!Another fabulous experience and a great family holiday with improved facilities from our previous visit (the hot tub and sauna are excellent).It's in a brilliant location with easy access to the Chamonix valley.We enjoyed trips out to Annecy, Gorges de la Diosaz, d'Emosson dam (where our youngest son did the zip wire across the face of the dam!).By booking the Mont Blanc Multipass for 9 days we had the use of the buses and all the cable cars and chairlifts in the valley, which is a great way of travelling along the valley and access up to the high level walks such as the grand balcon sud (a fantastic scenic family hike!) along with trips up and down the Tramway du Mont Blanc (accessible via the Bellevue cable car just down the road from the chalet), the Montenvers Mer de Glace Train (sad to see how much the glacier has melted since our last visit!) and the magnificent and magical Aiguille du Midi cable car (a must do and a truly amazing experience with fabulous scenery and views).Just a brilliant holiday with our family and pet dog.Would highly recommend the chalet and if you're thinking of staying, don't delay and book it, you will not regret it!Thanks again Michael and Angela for providing such a wonderful chalet and can't wait for our next return (hopefully in less than 10 years!)

Beautiful chalet with nice additions such as ping pong table, sauna and jacuzzi. Host very helpful, friendly and quick to respond to messages. Well located for family skiing in Les Houches but easy to pop into Chamonix for skiing there or shopping / dinner also.

Enormous place and great location for skiing. We used a hire car from geneva but looks like there are bus options also.

Beautiful chalet

Our family had a wonderful time visiting Chamonix & the Alpes. The chalet was perfect for our family of 8. Everyone was comfortable & the location was convenient for hiking. Beautiful views from the deck every day & the hot tub was lots of fun!

We have just returned from our second 3 week stay in this wonderful chalet and we cannot recommend it enough! We had a wonderful break again. The location and view from the garden is superb made even better by the garden furniture and the hot tub. The chalet is perfect, very well equipped with lots of space, very clean, the check in is easy and very had really quick helpful responses to questions we had from the host. We have already booked again for next year and can’t wait to go back!

Perfect honeymoon

We've had a perfect honeymoon in the spacious chalet with the most beautiful view on the mountains. The chalet and the surroundings are clean and wonderful. We've stayed with our two dogs who had all the space in the garden.

Great ski vacation with family

The home was just as pictured. There was plenty of space for all of us with three couch areas and entertainment spaces. We loved the ensuite bathrooms, hot tub and sauna. Kitchen was well equipped eequipped and the bit warmer

We spent a week here in late September and what a fantastic chalet! This is our 3rd year staying in Les Houches and this was by far the best chalet we have stayed in. The views are outstanding. It truly was amazing to sit in the hottub and look up at the mountains. We had our dog with us and he also loved the garden. The chalet layout is great, we loved the open plan living/kitchen area, and it's much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Plenty of space and areas to relax if you are with a group. We visited Geneva, Annecy and Aix-les-Bains, which were all just over an hour away. We had a great week and would love to return.

Fantastic Chalet!

This marked our 5th time skiing in the Chamonix valley and this was the best chalet yet. Very charming and located right in the heart of Les Houches. Spacious yet cozy for our group of 8 adults. It has everything you need for a winter ski trip to the alps, plus a hot tub with a fantastic view. Thanks, Angela and Michael for the great communication. We will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to the Chamonix valley!

A family holiday with good accommodation.

A lovely chalet with lots of facilities. Convenient for a supermarket. The hot tub was very popular with the children and the location was quiet. The garden furniture for use with the umbrella needs replacing or the bench table needs an umbrella. We had a really lovely time but it feels a little tired.

Family Ski Holiday

An absolutely fabulous place to stay! Mike was an exceptional and very responsive host. Exceeded our expectations, plenty of indoor space for a large family and a dog friendly garden and hot tub were very welcome. The large kitchen table enabled us to all have wonderful dinners together. All bedrooms with en-suites was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend and would love to return. L’Aiguille du Midi is an absolute must!

Perfect chalet for us

Perfect chalet for us (family with 3 late teens/early 20s ‘children’). Spacious very comfortable bedrooms all en-suite and lots of great lounging space. Everything you could want in the kitchen. Loved the terrace and hot tub. A real sun trap (in late March/April) with incredible view of Mont Blanc and the Aiguille du MIDI. Fantastic location to get to Chamonix/ Argentiere/ Les Contamines / megeve etc (we had a car).Would very happily return.

The house was fantastic beautiful layout private areas if you wanted quiet time every thing catered for in kitchen if you were cooking., garden great and also very secured (we had a dog) hot tub a treat especially the views of Mont Blanc and I imagine the sauna also (didn’t use as temperature was 30 most of the time. Bedrooms were spacious beds comfortable and all en-suite Great location in Les Houches supermarket & bakery only minutes away as we’re restaurants etc. As for days out Chamonix-Mont-Blanc 10 mins drive we visited Courmayeur for pizza & pasta Il Ristrantino) 30 minutes away via the Mont Blanc Tunnel. Thones on the banks of Lake Geneva also only an our away. We will return.

Summer 2024

Just back home after an amazing 3 week stay. The chalet is beautiful and provided a home from home in the French Alps for me, my husband and our 2 dogs. The location and views from the garden (and the hot tub!) are stunning, I honestly don’t think the photos do this justice. The chalet is well equipped, clean tidy and welcoming and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and friendly and Les Houches is a perfect location for summer walks with easy access to 2 cable cars. I’d highly recommend this chalet and we have already booked to go back again next year.

Hot Tub Heaven

We had a truly wonderful stay in this very comfortable chalet, with huge beds and fab bathrooms all en suite. The hot tub outside, after a day's skiing, was simply divine, with a view of the Aiguille de Midi and Mont Blanc. We were lucky with the snow too - the chalet was up the hill but you could walk down the nursery slopes after it was shut to get to the brew pub, a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended! Mike and his manager Angela were responsive and incredibly helpful throughout. Can't fault it really. Thanks for such a lovely holiday.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at the chalet for an incredible two-month with my family and our beloved furry friend. From the moment we arrived until our departure, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. This chalet provided us with a tranquil escape, surrounded by breathtaking nature and infused with a sense of comfort and luxury. The location of this chalet is a very good nestled in a quite, yet centric area, close to bars, restaurants, the lifts and the center of town that can be easily reached on foot. Nestled amidst a picturesque landscape, it offered us a serene retreat. The surrounding mountains and lush greenery created a soothing atmosphere, inviting us to relax and unwind. The tranquility was unmatched, and it was a pleasure to wake up to the soothing sounds of nature each morning. The living spaces were spacious and comfortable, providing ample room for our family to spread out and enjoy our time together. The amenities offered were great and catered to our every need. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare delicious meals, and the dining area provided a lovely space for us to savour our culinary creations. The bedrooms were comfortable, each with a private bathroom. One of the highlights of our stay was the pet-friendly nature of this chalet. As devoted pet owners, it was a joy to have our furry companion with us throughout our vacation. We are coming back next year for another 2 months of enjoy

Exquisite home away from home Chalet

This Chalet was pure class. The decor was modern but still classic & timeless with high quality fixtures and fittings everywhere. The kitchen was well equipped with an extensive choice of pots and pans +accompanying utensils. The living room was perfect to comfortably accommodate 6 adults but there's also a 65 inch TV downstairs with large corner sofa plus bean bags. A further top floor room could also accomodate others around a smaller TV and 2 small sofas. The free WiFi was Fibre so ultrafast. There was a table tennis table which was an added bonus. There's a dedicated ski/board/boots drying room for us winter sports enthusiasts which was great. Everyone slept comfortably in their beds & each room had its own shower and toilet. The back garden had an enormous luxury wooden hot tub with lights, jets and was deep enough to slip your shoulders under the water which maintained its temperature whatever the outside temperature. There was also a log burner fuelled Sauna which was large enough for 6 adults. There is an 8/9 min walk to either the St Antoine OR La Griaz/Le Tourchet bus stop which has free buses to Le Prarion Gondola at one end and Le Praz Flegére Gondola at the other, every half hour. The Carrefour supermarket is 2 stops away by bus or a 17/18 min walk away. Comms were excellent with owner & manager who were knowledgeable & very helpful. The Chalet was exceptional value for money and I would not hesitate both to return and to recommend it to others.

We are a sports mad family who love the activities that the Chamonix Valley provide all year round.

We loved Chalet les Drus the moment we first saw it and hope that everyone who stays there gets as much enjoyment as we do from spending time there.

The proximity to Geneva Airport and ease of access by road as well as the year round activities that the Chamonix Valley provide, were our main reasons for buying Chalet les Drus.

Chalet les Drus is the perfect blend of being close enough to all the outdoor and Chamonix town action, whilst being a tranquil oasis to return to after a days activities or simply to be lazy and leisurely in the garden or soaking in the hot tub.

The fact that you can have breakfast in France, lunch in Italy (Courmayeur) and dinner in Switzerland followed by coffee in your home country all in one day, is still something that we find amazing!
