Huset er udstyret med central luft og varme. nye køkkenmaskiner, inklusive vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. Beliggende på en blindgyde. Huset ligger på et stort privat parti i et roligt kvarter. En kort afstand fra Ct Audobon Society Preserve. Nyd både smukke solopgange og
solnedgange i et venligt kvarter. Dette hus har 3 udsigter over vandhæmmelse og ligger inden for kort afstand til jernbanen og er inden for 1 times kørsel til NYC. på

Great Beach House

The Cedars was a wonderful place to stay. The location was great, right on the beach, lots of parking and close to good restaurants. The house itself was perfect! It was immaculate! Beds and furniture really comfortable - central air a delight! Very airy and lots of room for everyone. Great water views from many rooms. We were 3 generations of women staying there, And everyone just loved it. Patio table and chairs perfect for really hot days, nice shade and close to the house There was an outdoor shower that was helpful for washing off sandy feet. The owners were great and communicated right away. I can’t wait until next summer to go back- this home is a gem!

Exactly what we needed!

This was the perfect vacation spot for my family (spouse and three kids -10, 7 and 2). Plenty of space in the house for everyone to hang out together or have their own space. Awesome being able to walk out to the beach with minimal items. Beach has a very long shelf with minimal waves, so great for kids. Water shoes are a must; lots of rocks and shells in the water. We hope to stay there again.

Beautiful Property - Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Roseanne's beautiful home on the water. Everything was perfect - the house was sparkling clean, the kitchen well appointed, the tv cable worked well and we all had a terrific time. The beach is amazing - sandy, clean and perfect for young children because of all the sandbars. We collected hundreds of shells. My husband is disabled and still enjoyed being able to see the water and spend time watching the rest of the family enjoying the water. We appreciated the full first floor bathroom - and our grandson loved his oceanside bedroom - there are TWO master bedrooms on the second floor. We loved our vacation and are very grateful to have been able to rent this beautiful home. Thank you!

Great Location - Dated furniture

This home is in an amazing location right on the beach. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy a beautiful beach this is a great choice. You should know that this is not a “beach town” per se, it is a nice town, but not a lot of restaurants/shops/etc. within walking distance. Didn’t bother us since we were really going for the beach, but just mentioning for others looking to rent. The home itself is updated and clean. The landlord could use to invest in some basic furniture. The house has a beautiful patio and view of the beach, but only one table and chairs that are old and not particularly comfortable to lounge in. Adding a mid-level quality lounge chair or an outdoor sectional set would significantly improve the experience. In addition, the house is not stocked at all - right down to propane for the grill. We had only one and a half meals worth of propane, no sponges, no paper towels, etc. Making minor improvements with basics would very much improve the experience. Overall, if your looking for a place to crash on the beach it would be hard to beat the value here.

Amazing beach vacation

The Cedars is a perfect beach house to relax at. The house and beach were incredible. We were two couples that shared this wonderful house right on cedar beach. We were there for the week of July 4 and little did we know that we would see the best fireworks display ever right on the beach. The house is exactly as described, very clean and everything is included that you can possibly need. I highly recommend staying here

Family Beach Week

Stayed a week at Cedar Beach with 8 adults and 3 children under 2 (Grandparents, children/spouses and grandkids). There was the perfect amount of space for all of us and we loved the layout of the house - 4 bedrooms upstairs and kitchen/ living areas downstairs. It was super clean, beds were very comfy, kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner every night, and washer and dryer were newer and very clean. Will absolutely rent again!!

A wonderful week at a fantastic property

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this house on Cedar Beach in Milford. The house was spacious, clean, and the kitchen was appointed with everything we needed to cook easily. Cedar Beach is absolutely gorgeous...walking out on the sand bars at low tide is a lot of fun, swimming at high tide is delightful, and the beach was very quiet while we were there. (Perfect for us, as we wanted to be able to remain socially distanced during this trip.) The property manager, Roseanne, responded quickly to questions, and while she provided answers to everything we asked, we did not get any warm/fuzzy vibes or extra information. (When we asked about restaurant recommendations, she simply said that she hasn't been eating out and therefore couldn't recommend any...???) This would have been nice, but certainly not essential. Be aware that the grill on the patio is propane, but you get whatever might be left in the tank...an extra tank is not provided, and there's no way to know how much is left in the tank. The patio is large with a table, 6 chairs and an umbrella, which is in the sun until late afternoon, but was shaded during dinner, which was nice. The listing includes beach chairs but DO NOT plan on using their beach chairs...bring your own! Their chairs are a relic from another era. I always worry about the condition of the washer/dryer at a beach rental (in the past we've gotten some that were so dirty or filled with sand, we didn't want to use them) but the ones at this house were very clean and in great working order. The WiFi worked perfectly all week. The neighborhood is very quaint/pretty and has sidewalks, so it's great if you're a runner or just want to take a stroll. Only about 1 mile to Walnut Beach Creamery and the Bees Knees (a super cute bakery/lunch place). Would definitely recommend staying at this property!

The location can't be beat!

As others have written, this beach property is exceptional! You will really have a beach of your own, with lots of sand and views. If you are into shells, you can find many along this stretch. Our grandchildren loved playing in the water and on the sand. We didn't find any notebook of information from the owner, but we know Milford and we have rented enough homes to enjoy ourselves and leave the place as nice as we found it. Great location! Be sure to take the short walk down to the Audubon Society property and see the small animal and bird displays both inside and outside their building. There is also one of those Little Free Library "houses" along the way where you can take a book and/or leave a book.

Loved this place!

This was our second time staying here, and we couldn’t be more pleased. It is very clean, it has everything you need, and the property manager was very responsive. It is on a quiet section of beach with natural areas (a plus for us). We can’t wait to return!

Great house right on the beach!!!! What could be better!!! The pictures don’t do it justice!!!

We have rented Roseanne’s property for three years now! It’s perfect for eight with the four bedrooms each having queen beds, night stand and bureau. The master bedroom also has a TV. Bedding is comfortable and clean. Mattresses are very comfortable. Plenty of closet space in all bedrooms including extra hangers. Spectacular views from the front two bedrooms and the living/dining area. There’s a cement patio right off the living/dining with two tables (one with an umbrella) and a grill. A great outdoor living space! The house has central air which we needed almost full time during this last stay due to the heatwave! There’s an outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off the sand and saltwater before entering the house. Two bathrooms with showers in both, the upstairs bathroom also has a tub. Plenty of towels, including beach towels! A big closet downstairs containing chairs for the beach and outdoors. The house has everything you need! If not Roseanne is very good about answering any concerns or needs immediately!

Loved this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with our family at this beach house! Very clean and newly refurbished. Four bedrooms on the top floor with two facing the beach. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets on a great section of the beach. This is the end near Milford Point and not very crowded at all. The amenities made our stay relaxing and fun. Plenty of beach chairs. Highly recommend!

Nice location, new, clean home.

Overall, the stay was lovely in a clean, new home. Positives were that there was beachfront access and nice cool air conditioning as well as a large living area with kitchen/new appliances. On the down side, we felt the property was a bit far from the water and would have enjoyed our stay more if there were a deck (the deck area is simply a concrete slab) and/or some loving chairs outside (there is a table and chairs with umbrella). I would have rated this a 4/5 except that the owners communication could be improved. They were not prompt in their initial responses, asked with only a few hours notice if we could let someone into the home while we were renting to do an inspection, and then finally it has now taken 5 follow emails over 2 weeks to get them to refund the security deposit.

A beautiful private beachfront property. Swimming and a sandy beach at your door. View long island sound from both your first and second floors. Walk the shoreline and catch the breeze and surf.

Very private. No public beaches nearby. Gentle surf with warm waters. a Jetty a few hundred yards away for marine exploration. The Audubon Sanctuary is at the end of the road. Very interesting to visit and walk the grounds. ShopRite, Walmart, Bjs, all kinds of restaurants are only a few of miles away. Ample parking for 5 or more cars. This a
newly remodeled house.
