Elegant to etagers villa, Casa Fandango, Playa Tamarindo og Play Langosta

Bemærk: Poolen er lukket i løbet af september.

Dette rolige, sikre hjem ligger kun en kort gåtur fra Playas Tamarindo og Langosta. 1800 kvadratmeter med plads inkluderer 3 soveværelser, 2 1/2 bade og et gourmetkøkken med gaskomfur. Den charmerende indretning har rustikke spanske koloniale møbler, Costa Rica-artefakter og originale kunstværker.

Casa Fandango er det er det ideelle sted for Tamarindo-området, lige på tværs af gaden fra en træforet gangadgang til stranden, der kan være et tilflugtssted for Howler-aber.

Tamarindo-bugten er en af de bedste i Guanacaste-området, sikker for selv de yngste svømmere og fantastisk til at surfe ved højvande. Skyggetræer er rigelige, og vores ende af stranden er rolig - rolig! Tag din tur på en kort gåtur til at finde Tamarindo til restauranter og shopping, eller til Langosta for natur.

Store Guanacaste-træer er også placeret bag Casa Fandango og er hjemsted for flere aber, papegøjer og sjældne, men mulige, en dovendyr. Rigeligt dyreliv er en stor del af appellen til denne vidunderlige ferie flugt.

Vores pool er en ægte pool, der er dyb (8 ft), og derfor venter køligere vand på dig ved alle bånd for at bringe afslapning og pusterum efter en lang gåtur på stranden eller solbadning.

This place was incredible. Owner of the piece was incredibly responsive to few questions we had. Pool was clean and deep. Place is in close proximity to beach and restaurants. Conveniently within waking distance to supermarket. I highly recommend this place

This property has both pros and cons.**Pros:** The location is excellent. Beach access is almost directly across the street (about a 2-minute walk), so you'll never miss a Tamarindo sunset. The area is quiet and more residential than the main part of town, which we appreciated. The landscaping is lovely, and although there are five villas, they're well screened by plants so it feels fairly private. The pool is nice (though it could have been a bit cleaner during our stay). The villa is spacious—the photos use a wide-angle lens, but it's still a good size. The property is gated, feels very safe, and is well lit at night. The host was outstanding: extremely responsive, helpful, and quick to resolve any questions or minor issues. There were also plenty of beach towels and lots of comfortable pillows.**Cons:** The property is showing its age. The mattresses gave me a backache, and although the sheets and towels were clean, many had noticeable stains. Overall, it could use some updating.There's also a large restaurant next door. You can't hear the patrons or music, but the restaurant's exhaust fans run throughout the day, creating a loud hum, and at mealtimes they constantly blow strong cooking smells into the pool area.Overall, we had a positive stay. You're definitely paying for the location, and the excellent host made a big difference. That said, given the price, I think the property could use a little TLC to better justify the cost.

Best house in the best complex

We’ve stayed in casa Blanca for two years now but casa fandango has fit our needs the best. There is plenty of room and amenities for our size group. There was construction noise from next door but it was tolerable and we’re excited about it potentially being a restaurant. The owner was very responsive and on top of all things during our stay, We will be back for sure!

The best part lace to stay for our family with six adults

This amazing villa is in the perfect location just a short walk to beach and town but far enough away to be quiet and serene. Villa was just the right size for hubby and me (fantastic master bedroom) and our two grown sons and their partners. Great for cooking and lounging. Pool was great. We would absolutely come again.

Wouldn’t change a thing

We loved this house! Spacious, beautiful, and quiet. It’s on the quieter end of town, which we really appreciate. Our family of 4 spent a month here working remotely, and the wifi was flawless. The kids loved the pool. The property host was helpful and communicative. Can’t wait to go back!

Better than the Pictures!

We were extremely happy with this beautiful casa! Usually the online pictures exaggerate, but it was actually way better! It was perfect for our family; everyone had their own space. The house had everything we needed and more! The pool outside the front door was awesome. Each bedroom has it's own TV, and we enjoyed Netflix, and a wide variety of channels. It was so comfy and perfect, we didn't want to go home!

Great Villa on the Beach

Scott is super responsive and an incredibly helpful host - and quickly extended our stay when our flights home were delayed. The home was perfect for our stay. The shared pool is pristine and the villa was comfortably cooled. It's conveniently located across the street from the beach and within walking distance from all the best amenities: beach clubs, grocery stores, restaurants and bars. Our adult group had no problem without a car or golf carts walking into town, but I would recommend renting a cart if you have a group with children or older folks. Would stay here again!

Perfect spot

Casa Blanca was the perfect cozy, tropical, inviting home! It was a perfect distance from the beach, but was secluded enough to still feel private. The garden and pool were excellent additions, and it was only a five minute walk from the supermarket and good food options. It’s in the perfect area of town and the beach— close enough to see the cute shops but just off the edge of the most of the hustle and bustle. One thing to be aware of if you stay here is that you should bring your own soap and shampoo, and be prepared to supply your own toilet paper. However, there are an abundance of beach towels.

Fit our needs

The property was perfect for two families with teens. Kitchen had everything we needed, and bed configuration was perfect for our group. The location was just a few blocks away from the busy town which made our end of the beach less crowded. We could walk right across the street to beach access. We spent a lot of evenings at the small pool. Beach chairs and boogie boards would have been a nice benefit. Would recommend for groups of our size.

Beautiful House

I’ve been to Costa Rica a few times and was bringing young adults and wanted them to be able to do things on their own. There was 6 of us and the house was perfect for us. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, stores and nightlife.. The house had a shared pool for us, who just wanted to hang out and relax. The house itself was lovely and relaxing. A few times we just stayed in to cook our own food, which was nice. We BBQ our own steak dinners and was a nice touch to eat outside.

Private paradise for our family vacation

This property was fantastic! Very clean, well maintained, and close to everything you’ll need during your tropical vacation. It is within a short walking distance to restaurants beach, beach club, shopping, and food truck park. The villa is very spacious and a great multi-level layout for families. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of towels for pool or beach.The shared pool was great and relaxing - it was a nice way to wind down after a long day of touring and exploring. The full size washer-dryer was a great feature for family of four. Scott, the host, was always super responsive to any questions we had and provided lots of recommendations and resources for our stay. We highlt recommend this property and host!!

We stayed for 7 days at Casa Fandango with our three teenage children. The villa itself is spacious, private, and in a great location—there was plenty of room for all five of us, and the short two-minute walk to the beach was very convenient. The pool and grounds were well maintained, with a groundskeeper there most days keeping everything clean.That said, we did experience a significant issue with the primary bedroom. On the first night, we noticed the bed, pillows, and comforter were wet, though we couldn’t immediately identify the cause. After being out all day on day two, we returned to find the bed completely soaked, with moisture extending into the mattress. It became clear the AC unit above the bed was leaking, making the bed unusable.I contacted Scott that evening, explained the situation, and mentioned we would be out again the following day so the issue could be addressed. Unfortunately, the response was not as proactive as we expected, and the urgency of the situation didn’t seem to be fully acknowledged. After pressing, he shared that he was out of the country, which may have contributed to the delay, but it still left us without a usable bed for longer than it should have.Overall, the home itself is very nice and in a great location, but situations like this highlight the importance of responsive, on-the-ground support. With more timely handling of issues, this would easily be a 5-star stay.

Thank you for the feedback Tavis and I do again apologize for the way things turned out. Just 2 things to note, we had the air conditioner leak fixed within hours of it being identified. We also had attempted to deliver an exchange set of bedding but were denied access. As a result of this incident we have placed extra bedding for each bed where guest can access themselves in an emergency. We have operated Fandango for 10 years and have maintained a very high level of satisfaction. I hope you come back Tavis.

Wonderful

This is our second time staying at Casablanca, our first in Casa Fandango. The home was perfect for us. Loved the layout and the wonderful outdoor space. We felt safe and secure with the security guard and gates. We were there with another family who stayed in one of the other units - the kids loved running back and forth between the houses and playing in the pool. We will absolutely stay here again. The only thing I would have liked is a washer/dryer in the house. I believe there is one outside by the pool, but something in the home would be preferred. The management company was responsive and very helpful.

Wonderful stay in Tamarindo

We loved this quiet Villa located just down the street from the busy part of Tamarindo. It was about a 10 min walk to the downtown area however as my Mother who is almost 80 years old was with us we rented a golf cart for the week. We loved having the beach across the road for early morning walks and to watch the gorgeous sunsets. The pool on site was refreshing and the pool side deck was nice for relaxing and meeting other Villa guests. Our host was super friendly and helpful on the few occasions we had to reach out to them for assistance. They always got right back to us and provided excellent recommendations for tours and for the golf cart rental. The Villa itself was so beautiful and had everything we needed to cook in if we chose to or for relaxing at night. The teens had their own loft bedroom which they liked and my Mother loved having her own tv in her room when she wanted some alone time. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Option in Tamarindo/Playa Langosta

This is a very good location. it is directly across the street from an entrance to the quiet side of the tamarindo beach and is a short walk up the hill to get to playa langosta beach. There is a surf school that meets right at the tamarindo entrance. It's easy to walk to restaurants on the tamarindo strip or to Langosta for dinner. The condo is one of four free-standing units, each with gated parking. The complex has a shared pool that is large enough to actually use and enjoy The unit is large, has high ceilings in the living area, and has a lot of outdoor space. There are 2 bedrooms each with a full bath on the first floor and then there is a 3 bed loft with a half bath that is open to the living area. This worked well for us (3 kids). The living room and each bedroom, including the loft, had smart TVs with AppleTV. The condo i would guess is 20-15 years old and is well maintained and in great shape overall. The owner was super-responsive the only time we needed anything. Seems like a nice guy.

Fabulous Stay & Beautiful Home

We visited Casa Fandango for a week long stay over Christmas with our family (two couples and four children ages 8-16). We fell in love with the home right away, it’s nestled into an oasis which is quiet, private and beautifully landscaped. The pool was delightful. Everyone we met at the complex was friendly and kind. We all felt safe and welcome! The home has beautiful architecture and is cozy but room for 8+. It had everything we needed and some things we didn’t know we would need! The hosts were easily reachable if we had questions and very responsive. Tamerindo is just a short 5 minute walk, there are also frequently power scooters available to rent to zoom around (the kids loved those!). The beach is a less than 2 minute walk and stunning with surfing, boogie boarding and more. There’s a fabulous restaurant/bakery/coffee shop right next door if you don’t like venturing far. Overall, the location is ideal! So quiet you can hear the monkeys as they move through the trees and the birds chirping. We absolutely will be visiting Casa Fandango again! The kids area already asking to go next year. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 - myself, a husband native to CR, and two children 12 & 10 - and our friends and another family of 4 - with 12-year old twins - stayed at Casa Fandango for New Years 2023-2024. The location is lovely, right across the road from the beach, close to Tamarindo center but not too close and near the lovely neighboring Playa Langosta. We used the shared pool daily, cooked and grilled some of our own meals, and rented two 4-person golf carts to get around. Two fit in the designated parking space just fine, just be sure to get a longer extension cord from your cart company to reach the outlet by the a/c unit if you have an electric (we might recommend gas for this reason). (Although carts probably aren't totally necessary, depending where you want to go!) Check-in was easy and Scott was friendly and accommodating, as were our neighbors in the other houses on the property. Also great were the 2.5 baths in the house ensuring each family had one pretty much to themselves and the kids their own half in the loft area. We are always so appreciative of our time in Costa Rica, it is a special place. Thank you for having us.

Casa Fandango was wonderful. The villa was perfect for our family. It was the perfect location within the compound. Private and near the pool, which our young-adult children loved lounging around. The location of the villa is PERFECT. Directly across the street from the beach and walking distance to everything. Scott was incredibly communicative and responsive. We absolutely loved our week there. Thank you Scott.

Superbe villa! Près de la plage et de toutes les commodités. La piscine est super! Air climatisé, propreté et propriétaire très réactif dès que nous avons le moindre problème. Je recommande cet endroit!

Best home in Tamarindo

Simply put…Outstanding. The owner is supremely responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is great. The set up is very convenient to the beach and the shops but tucked back from the hustle and bustle. The lot has 4 homes as part of a complex complete with large pool. Everything is beautifully landscaped and the touches are very authentically Tico. They’ve also done some great modernization with solid WiFi, tankless water heaters (hot water never ran out) and streaming services on all the TVs. Look no further, this is your spot.

Nice house, very comfortable for our needs

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Fandango. Property manager was extremely responsive to questions and helpful throughout. Proximity to a nice quiet part of the beach was great. Having a pool was excellent. A couple of small glitches were dealt with quickly. House is a little further from town than is really comfortable for daily walking if you decide to stay without a car. It doesn't seem that far but the lack of sidewalks makes it challenging, especially when walking at night and with kids. Internet was spotty with 4 simultaneous users but clearly we should have spent less time online during our vacation! Overall, a pleasant stay.

A great space in a great location

Fandango is a lovely property that has a real charm. You can tell the property is actively used by the owner as it has a real homely feel about it and is well equipped. Everything works and the property is clean, tidy, has a good amount of space and plenty of bathrooms. One thing to be aware of: the top room (the large one with three beds), is effectively a gallery room so can't be closed off from the rest of the property by a door. The room is great and really big - but note that the people staying up there really need to be the last to bed and first up as they will hear everything going on downstairs.
