Et soveværelse med queen size seng, et badeværelse og brusebad, fuldt udstyret spis i køkken, stue med queen size sovesofa og Vermont Casting gaskomfur, vaskerum med vaskemaskine / tørretumbler. Vi har også en kommerciel twin udbredt seng til rådighed.
Lejligheden er blevet ombygget i 2016. Der er et fladskærms-tv i stuen og i soveværelset med kabel, WiFi. Der er også en udendørs ildsted og grill til din afslapning og nydelse.

Denne hyggelige 4 værelses, 1 bad lejlighed er beliggende i en privat skovklædte omgivelser, kun 3 miles fra downtown Lake Placid, 1 1/2 miles fra de olympiske skispring, 5 miles fra Mt. Van Hoevenberg, 8 miles fra Whiteface Mountain, og minutter fra Jack kanin Trail.
Lejligheden er meget velholdt. Det er i stueetagen af vores hjem med egen indgang og let off street parkering.

Awesome stay

Very comfortable place, feel like home away from home.Robert and Cheryl are wonderful people and Cheryl had everything you might need when traveling. Loved the little post it notes and snacks she left for us. Will stay there again for sure.

Wonderful getaway!

This is our 3rd time staying at this lovely place. Cheryl and Bob are great hosts and think of every little extra that makes this place feel like home. It has a charming Adirondack theme and lovely touches. Thank you, Cheryl and Bob!

Perfect in Placid

This is our favorite short term rental. Robert and Cheryl are wonderful hosts. This is in a quiet location outside of town. This place is always spotless and has everything you could need. The hosts are easy to communicate with. I couldn't think of a single thing they could do to improve. We stay here every year and we will be back next year!

Comfortable in Lake Placid

We needed a comfortable place to stay in the Adirondacks so we could be rested for the next day's paddling adventures - and this rental provided it. We didn't expect the eggs and orange juice in the fridge and the vast selection of coffees. All good!

One of the best!

Beautiful house and enchanted place in the Adirondack mountains

Beautiful and very well maintained lower level of the house. Fully equipped with everything we needed and extremely clean. Our hosts were very nice and respectful. Will gladly come again next time we’re in the Adirondack mountains area and heart fully recommend this place.

Highly recommend!

Rob and Cheryl keep this rental extremely clean. It was such a great time staying here - great neighborhood, close to LP, and great area for running. We definitely are going to rent this spot again in the future.

Anniversary/Babymoon Getaway

My husband and I got the chance to meet with Robert and Cheryl when we arrived, they were super nice! There place was the cleaniest VRBO house we ever stayed at. All furniture was comfortable! The had little chocolates on the table with flowers to greet us (& so much more). I was allergic to the flowers and they were nice enough to grab those for me. Only 8 minute drive to town. I could honestly go on and on! This was just a wonderful stay, would definitely come back!

Wonderful Stay!

The cozy mountain retreat is just that! It is picture perfect and my friends and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were four of us ladies and we had a great time. The apartment was exceptionally clean. It is stocked with everything you could want from dryer sheets to eggs. The kitchen is well equipped for all kinds of cooking. There is a keurig with tons of k cups and drip coffee. The layout is super cozy and we loved the gas stove in the livingroom. The bed and bedding were amazing as well as all the towels you could want for the bathroom. Everything was super neat and clean. I was greated by the hosts when I arrived and they were just lovely. This place is a gem in a quiet and beautiful location.

Simply Perfect

The Best!

My husband and I spent six nights here. The apartment is very clean and fresh. And I do me fresh not antiseptic. It is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Cheryl and Robert thought of everything.The bed and pillows were very comfortable.The location is perfect.The best compliment we can give is to say we would stay here again. Excellent little bungalow conveniently located!

This is cute, little apartment perfect for a couple on the go. Located conveniently just outside the village of Lake Placid this residence is also just 10 minutes to the parking lot at the Adirondack Loj. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to feel welcomed with several special little touches. This was our third time staying here and we look forward to staying here the next visit. [P.s. If you are a runner, bicyclist, cross country skiier, or simply enjoy walking for your excercise this property will not disappoint. You'll be sharing a road with many other like minded athletes!]

Beautiful home

Very quiet setting, clean & comfortable. House had everything you needed. Hosts met us upon arrival. They were very nice and offered their assistance, if we needed anything. Would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!

This is our second time back at Cheryl and Bob’s property and it was every bit as nice as our first visit. Charming decor and very comfortable warm and inviting. Also stocked with snacks and breakfast food-so many extras. Thank you, Cheryl and Bob!

super enjoyable stay with lovely hosts

The hosts were really kind both before and during the stay. There was a huge attention to detail, both in the decor of the home and the way it has been maintained. There was a fridge and pantry and bathroom full of items for when we arrived, and the cleanliness of the property was impeccable. Lovely location as well, couldn’t recommend enough !

X Country and Snowboard trip.

This is a wonderful property conveniently located a short drive from Lake Placid, Whiteface and Mt Vanhoevenberg. The pictures are excellent as is the entire rental. Cheryl and Robert were perfect hosts...you can want for nothing. Thank you both so much and we hope to be back again.

Vært: Robert and Cheryl

We are both retired educators. Robert was the High School/Middle School Principal here in Lake Placid and Cheryl was an elementary teacher also in Lake Placid. In retirement we decided to remodel an apartment which is on the ground level of our home as a vacation rental for guests to enjoy the same beauty and activities of this wonderful town and mountains which we have enjoyed since 1988.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

We love this property as it is nestled in the woods, only 1 1/2 miles from NY RTE. 73. It gives us the quiet we want with all the activities we could possibly desire within only a few minutes from our door. Robert loves to ski so with Whiteface Mountain about 7 miles away he can jump in the car and be there within 15 minutes. I enjoy the cross country skiing more so our house is located in the perfect spot. There are several "free" cross country trails within 10 minutes from our door. Also Mt. Van Hoevenberg is only 5 miles down the road. Living in this Olympic Town gives us the opportunity to volunteer at many of the special events (including World Cup) which take place throughout the year.
When we want to go to a store or out to eat, it's only a 10 minute drive. Our home is only minutes from the route where the running portion of the Ironman takes place in July. We just walk to the end of our road (about 2 min.) and cheer for the Ironmen and Women. It is quite thrilling to watch the athletes complete the final portion of the race.

We have enjoyed improving and maintaining our home over the years we have lived here. We enjoy our gardens. They seem to expand each year, attracting many varieties of birds and wildlife. After an active day we often enjoy sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and sipping our wine. It's our little piece of paradise.
