We had an enjoyable holiday and the villa was generally okay, but unfortunately we felt it no longer reflects the standard shown in the listing photographs.Our overall impression was that, as things have broken, worn out or disappeared over the years, they haven’t always been replaced. There were numerous glasses and other items missing, the outside table was not the one shown in the photographs and was inadequate for the number of guests, and the substantial sunshade pictured had been replaced by a single umbrella. These are examples rather than an exhaustive list.The hot tub appeared to need a thorough clean and none of our group felt comfortable using it. We also noticed that a filter/grille appeared to be missing from the swimming pool, leaving an opening large enough for a foot to enter. In fairness, we didn’t report this during our stay, so the owner wasn’t given the opportunity to address it at the time.Overall, we enjoyed our holiday, but given the price we paid and the number of issues, we didn’t feel the villa represented good value for money. It needs some investment and attention to bring it back to the standard portrayed online, and updated photographs would give future guests a more accurate idea of what to expect.
